We, at Baildon Methodist Church, needed a new roof and wanted to take the opportunity to install some Solar Panels. I put my trust in Chris Hopkins and it wasn't misplaced. He persuaded me away from my original plans to a much better solution. During the installation period the basic necessities of such a job were satisfied: Scaffolding happened at the appointed time; workers turned up when they should; the individuals were friendly and accommodating; work was carried out to a high standard; any problems that arose were dealt with without fuss or drama; rubbish was cleared away and the installation looks brilliant! Couldn't have gone better!

The work carried out by everyone at Green and Heritage roofing has been fantastic. From the initial survey onward. Kieran and Kyle were the roofing team and were an absolute credit to the firm. They work extremely hard and did not leave until late. They checked with us and made sure that all of the work was what we expected. They also showed us before and after and installed bar tiles and heritage lead work. This was a huge flagged roof and they kept the slight dip that has been there at our request, this was a very heavy roof. These two are a credit to the company. Chris planned the job down to the last day, again checked and worked with us all of the work was done without a break and in challenging conditions. They also cleared and put a new flag roof on a smaller building. A fantastic team, the roofs are amazing and I cannot recommend this firm highly enough. This is what craftsmanship looks like. From start to finish, the team were excellent. Adam led the project and he did so with politeness and efficiency. He was here rain or shine by 8am and he worked most Saturdays to ensure the project was finished in time (3-4 months in total). Adam, Callum and the other guys tidied up after themselves every day and never asked for anything. They invited us up onto the roof on many occasions to show us the progress. It was a VERY expensive project because of the size and shape of the roof and chimneys so we were very mindful of choosing a company that could do what was required, particularly because our house is Grade 2 listed. I recommend Green and Heritage 100%. We are very happy indeed with the finished roof.

Excellent Company to work with…! We were approached by Chris & Helen looking to obtain high quality photography and videography of a recent roofing project they’ve successfully completed in Bingley, West Yorkshire. After a very quick consultation it was clear they had thought through their brief which was understandable and therefore very quickly turned around within days. We hope the images and videography we’ve provided along with what was a very professional roofing finish helps them obtain the awards they deserve. Payment for our services was settled within minutes of us issuing our invoice. Heritage and Green are the type of clients you want to keep coming back time and time again. We provide Drone Roof Inspections and Chartered Surveyor - Roof Condition Reports and I can say had on heart that their work is exemplary and what’s more when I met their client onsite to obtain permission for both take off and landing - he only had great things to say. That is why it’s important I share this knowledge in the hope someone reading this needing to find that needle in an haystack need look no further. Good restaurant in Dean Clough mill complex. We called in with no appointment, and there was no problem getting a table. It was a quiet early afternoon. The staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive. The food we chose was tasty and all prepared on site; there was one slight issue with one of our dishes and the staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating in resolving the problem, this was appreciated but not expected from us. True North is definitely worth a visit. It's a quality restaurant serving good quality food; this is our second visit and won't be our last.

Paulicarus fancied a proper Sunday roast dinner so booked a table here. Friends had been before. Sat in what apparently had once been Europe's largest carpet factory. Certainly a huge building. A starter and main for £25. Two lamb and two beef. Good veg selection. We had starters of one wings, one paté and two chose asparagus and sea bass. All excellent. Good service and good wine. No real ale so Paulicarus had a £6.00 pint of lager. Very attentive service.

The food here is absolutely fantastic, whether it's breakfast, Sunday lunch or an evening meal. This place is highly recommended, and I have been several times and will be back again in the near future. It's located in the Dean Clough Mill, complex, free parking. You will not be disappointed.

My husband and I visited for the first time today having recently moved from Leeds to Halifax. We were hoping to find a new favourite Sunday roast spot, and we certainly have! We both opted for the roast pork belly and agreed it was one of the best roast dinners we've ever had at a restaurant: perfectly cooked pork belly, generous portion size and delicious sides- we both loved the cauliflower cheese. Service was attentive without being too much, and the restaurant's setting in the historic Dean Clough was the cherry on top! We're already planning our next visit, thank you True North :)

Great restaurant, great service, great food. I went with a group of 26 and I couldn't fault the service and food. All was cooked fresh and we were all served quickly and efficiently. Everyone praised the food and they catered for vegetarian and gluten free dishes with no fuss. Sam was great with the pre booking correspondence and helpful on the day. Great menu choices including beer battered fish and chips, falafel burger, chicken tikka skewers, roasted carrots and cous cous, morroccan lamb flatbread, to name just a few. Reasonable price's

SUPERB AS USUAL! Me and my wife always go there for a meal out Everything tastes amazing, from gnocchi gamberi e capesante to lobster ravioli, side chips were also very good. But even if you fancy a simple and full od tradition plate, spaghetti bolognese will be a great call. today i've tried tuna tartara and: OMG that was top class!!! Friendly, knowleadgeable and very kind staff, ans thanks to their advice today i've tried a very nice wine which i loved. Location is very nice and i always feel welcome in this place. Strongly recommended

Outstanding as usual. This is probably my 20th visit since they open and each time it amazes me. The food is impressively good all the times and there's always something new on the special board to chose from. The tuna tartare is a must try. Can't wait to go back.

I came here a few weeks ago for the first time. I previously went to the other restaurant in Holywell Green so I knew the food would be gorgeous. I also found the atmosphere to be much better at this location, with great service too. A fabulous meal and evening!

We've been 3 times in the last few months and it's been wonderful each time. Tony & the team are great - very friendly, funny and answered all questions about the specials. The goats cheese starter is delicious. The filet steak is amazing. And the Passionfruit cheesecake is a must!!! We tell everyone we know they should visit. Already looking forward to the next time we come.

I have just completed an extensive amount of treatment with Dr Kirrin Punia which included four implants and several veneers, the work has taken several months to complete. I am extremely pleased with the results. Right from the start I have felt in very safe in her hands, she has been realistic about what was achievable and throughout the treatment has gone over and above to produce the absolute best results for me that were possible. I have no reservations in recommending her to family and friends, in fact I have already done so.

I went for the first time to the Fresh Smile Clinic with my partner. I'm a comfortable person when it comes to dental appointments, whereas my partner not as much. The clinic was really nice and with comfortable atmosphere inside. The dentist who assisted us was super friendly and answered all our questions without hesitation. We were both very pleased overall and we'll surely be back again soon for our next dental appointment. I'd absolutely recommend this clinic to everyone.

This place is fantastic if you are nervous. They really understand my anxiety. They take time to explain my treatment before and during treatment. They notice immediately if I am in distress and stop. Then we work out how to continue. I feel fully in control. They do not need to sedate me they work with me around my fears. The only drawback is no NHS you pay for what you get. But so well worth the cost if you are anxious.

Such a lovely dental clinic. All staff were so friendly and professional. I came in with some concerns about my teeth and Charlotte (I’m hoping I’ve remembered her name correctly), gave my teeth a thorough clean and reassured me that there is no need to panic. Just my wisdom tooth coming through! I’ve booked my next clean with her in a few months. Thank you so much!

Having been to the Old Church Dental Practice and having always been worried by attending dentists, this group of specialists really do take that dread away. Moazzam is a real dental artist, kind and caring and the finished tooth is a work of art. Thelma is also kind and caring and a real specialist. Having had root canal treatment her work is precise and painless a real gem. In general, all team members are polite, always courteous and wanting to put you at your ease.

Honestly a completely different experience to anything I've had before. Every single person is friendly, helpful and it (almost) makes going to the dentist a pleasure. The receptionists are all kind, helpful and do everything they can to make your visit as pleasant as going to the dentist can be. I have seen two of the dentists at the practice and both are amazing at what they do, not only in terms of the quality of their work but also makes a refreshing change to have all options explained fully to be able to make an informed decision. I won't go anywhere else, unless all the staff leave. Highly recommend The Old Church.

I have accompanied my mum to the Old Church for several years and their customer service is always superb. It’s a beautiful building, immaculate inside with a calm atmosphere. Each member of staff is so warm and welcoming they immediately put you at ease. I have never been to a more friendly practice where everyone is helpful, chatty and show genuine interest in their patients. My mum is very happy going there and looks forward to her regular visits as they treat her with the utmost care and respect.

I could not rate this place any higher, I would give more stars if I could. One of the best parts about Lydgate is the staff, they are always so friendly and welcoming. I have only been in for coffee and cake but have thoroughly enjoyed both. The prices are really reasonable and the cake was delicious. I will definitely be a returning customer and would recommend this lovely place to anyone😊

Steve (and team) worked on my house for about 3 years through covid. Full rewire (and certificates) including running Ethernet cable to every room. Always came back to help on small issues and despite the job dragging, was very reasonable priced. It’s hard to find reliable workmen but Steve is trustworthy and competitively priced to boot!

Amongst other things. I have had an extractor fan fit & external socket. Steve popped round in good time. He checked the problem. Was completely professional and polite. They left no mess. And very fair pricing. He is in my book now. Would certainly call him again for anything electrical . 👍

I initially enquired with Kane Electrical for a variety of big and small jobs I needed at my home. From the initial quotation to the finished job I just cannot fault Ray. No nonsense, punctual, hard working and above all honest, with superb workmanship and straightforward advice at every step - he is what every tradesman should strive to be. The quality of his work speaks for itself. Ray was incredibly neat and tidy for what was at times a messy and awkward task and when I added even more work to an already long list he got on with it faultlessly. I am over the moon with the completed work and the small touches, pointers and helpful advice from Ray, along with minimal disruption were all very much appreciated. Searching for a quality tradesman of any kind can be a real headache but be absolutely assured, if you are in need of a reliable, trustworthy and highly skilled electrician then look no further, Ray is the chap you need to call. I needed a new oven, hob and extractor connecting up to the mains. Ray was available to come and have a look the next day. He arrived on time and got straight to work. I am very happy with the finished result, the price was fair and Ray was a genuine and friendly bloke. Will use again.

What a man!! We got Ray to do our garden lighting. He came exactly when he said he would and quoted us a really competitive price. He was so approachable-he altered things when we asked and was so flexible in his approach. The results are absolutely fantastic. Ray came a few hours after I called following, as I thought, an electrical emergency.. can't recommend him enough. Called to let me know when he was on his way.
