Having an extra large garden, no time to maintain it the way I would like and a disabled child (who loves to be outside) we needed to freshen things up. Cue lazy days, Laura was full of useful ideas which were carefully planned out while Jack and Josh expertly brought them to fruition. This was a long process due to the amount of work involved and to make matters worse we have a very long sweeping driveway, which made removal of waste & delivery’s difficult as they could not gain access, so everything had to be taken to and from the gated entrance. Nothing was too much trouble for Jack and Josh, collections/deliveries were all planned out as to not leave us without access to the property, everything was swept and cleaned at the end of each day. Josh constantly put in a hard shift & Jack is obviously very knowledgeable and skilled at his job but his attention to detail was second to none. They are all very hard working and provide a high end result. We now have a fantastic & safe outdoor area. I can’t thank Laura, Jack & Josh enough. I would not hesitate to recommend Lazy Days for any gardening needs.

Having moved into a new-build property, it took us several changes of mind to decide on a landscaping plan, and throughout all of the uncertainty we had very patient, positive responses and suggestions from Laura and Jack before settling on the final design and quote. When the work started we were impressed with the quality and precision of the emerging raised beds and patio. Despite the harsh weather, Jack and Josh turned up cheerfully every day in snow and rain, making great progress when we would've given up! We were left with a tidy garden, pathways and drive when the job was completed, and we are so pleased with the results that we are already planning the planting and maybe some further landscaping. If we ever make our minds up then it will be Lazy Days we call upon to help is again, thoroughly recommended!

Laura worked really hard to transform our garden which was getting out of control. All the neighbours have said how much better it now looks and how hard she worked. Very pleased with the work and will use again.

What an amazing team! 🤗 Laura was great with ideas and suggestions for my garden transformation, very friendly, knowledgeable and informative. Jack is very personable and kept me informed with every step, he’s a patient guy and no amount of questions from me was too many! He and Josh are extremely hard working, respectful of property and clearly care about the environment. The work is 100% professional using quality materials. After every day, my path was swept and everything was tidy, I really couldn’t recommend this small business enough! An absolute pleasure from the beginning, although there is a little more work to be done, but waiting for drier weather, hopefully not too long. Thank you Lazy Days 🙏

Large garden that was completely out of control, Lazy Days did a complete restoration job returning it to its former glory. Prompt response, good price, they delivered what we agreed, on time and budget. Very happy with the results, would highly recommend them.

Mel and his team laid astro turf in my garden and the service from start to finish was amazing. They explained everything clearly so I understood what they would need to do and how the look after it once they had finished. They dug up the old garden and replaced it with the astro and all the bits in between. The finished job looks awesome. So happy with it. Thank you Transition Landscaping. My garden is now a usable area again.

Nice course and facilities. Only problem is the amount of kids on the driving range. You can be sat around for half an hour waiting for a bay while they mess about due to the sheer number of them. One of them nearly hit another person waiting due to their poor skill level and general lack of care as the ball ricocheted off the side wall, up and then back to the seating area. The numbers of kids needs controlling. Other than that, it's a well kept course with reasonable membership prices. Guest prices are a little on the high side.

Had our wedding here on the 27/04/24 and we had the most incredible day! All of the events coordinators could not have been more helpful with all of our crazy questions! The venue is gorgeous as are the grounds, which made for amazing photos by the lake! The venue was set up just how we imagined, if not better! The Manor worked amazingly with our vendors and everything went smoothly! Have to say a massive thank you to all of the event coordinators! Would 100% recommend for any wedding/event!

Our wedding day at The Manor on 24th August 2024 was truly unforgettable. The venue exceeded all our expectations. The room was transformed into something more beautiful than we could have ever imagined, and the private garden was perfect for photos, complementing the stunning golf course, which provided the ideal setting for our bride and groom shots. Rebecca and her team went above and beyond to ensure every detail was flawless. From the many planning meetings, Rebecca was always available, and no request was too much trouble. As a recently taking up golf, i have really enjoyied using the Manors facilities. A trip After work to the driving range or taking my son on a weekend, has really caught his interest too. Would recommend and will continue to use them

Played in a friendly at Meltham tonight after playing Ryburn yesterday and ahead of Halifax Bradley Hall which I go to tomorrow. I promised myself I'd review every course I play this week as I'm all over West Yorkshire but this course will not be beaten. Its condition has to be the best I've seen of any course this year. The greens are true and the fairways are lush. I didn't go in any bunkers but they made each hole picturesque and looked perfect. Rakes everywhere and ball retrievers placed where they were needed. I had a two course meal after and my understanding is they have a new head chef who is on a trial shift at this moment in time. To serve 32 Golfers all at the same time is a baptism of fire and anyone who has worked in the catering industry knows that. Sorry Meltham but he's hired!!! Food was 10/10 and the sticky toffee pudding was amazing. Thank you for such amazing hospitality. I will be back !

We chose to use Meltham golf club for our mums wake after recommendation from Birks. We were very happy with the room, which was bright and set out lovely. The food we chose from the menu was exceptional and everyone commented on how nice it was. Would highly recommend Meltham Golf Club. Thank you

My first ever visit to this place in all the time I have lived in brighouse & my it didn’t disappoint the room that we were having are meal in plus entertainment was very open with stunning views of Yorkshire s finest greenery . We arrived a bit early but had a loverly chap called Richard have a chat to myself plus my parents explaining the history of the golf club which was a brilliant insight to the evening before we sat down to have are 3 course meal . The food to my taste was amazing it was just cooked right from starters to desert the staff were very warm n helpful to every in the room it s a very unique experience to have a golf club in the centre of a town or just not far from the main area but this place from the large car park great facilities plus very interesting history I would highly recommend plus I am not a golf fan but we also got a cracking view of the fair way with the green just yards away which was just so beautiful . I hope to call back next year or before thank you for the club’s professionalism plus high standards

This is a great golf course. The professional, Paul, is a great teacher and is well worth a few half hour lessons. The 19th hole is not bad either!!

Brilliant heathland course with tough rough and tricky greens. Warm welcome from members. Only reason it wasn't 5 stars today was the greens had been dressed and they don't open the kitchen on Monday which given the numbers there I can understand...

I've never left a review for a golf course before but this course / club was so fantastic I had no choice but to leave a glowing review! The practice facilities, the pro shop and overall welcome were exemplary and as for some of approach shots and views....breath taking! I can't wait to return to this hidden gem!

Played here on 07/01 and despite the weather we had you would think we were in spring the course was in such good condition. One of the best courses i have played. From ringing up to booking it and turning up to see Alex in the pro shop when we arrived the whole experience was incredible Cant wait to go back

First time at Huddersfield Golf Club and was really impressed. Course built within the grounds of Fixby Hall, which doubles as clubhouse and events venue. Elevation changes on every hole makes it pretty dramatic. Views of Huddersfield and surrounding area when you get onto the 11th tee. Course had been closed previous day due to rain, but there was no evidence of that apart from the greens were running a little slow. Some monster par 4s, including the 1st at 465 yards off the yellows tees. Plenty of bunkering and undulating greens make it a real, but enjoyable challenge.

This is a fantastic course that is available at a great place for it's quality. I genuinely think it's offering the sort of golf course for a normal price that others around Yorkshire are charging double. It's a great course layout, really enjoyable challenge and nicely set around the lake. It's got a great driving range to warm up on too.

Fantastic layout in great condition. There are lots of interesting holes that provide a good challenge for all levels of golfers. The greens were best the best we have played this year and we have been to some prestigious courses. It is also set within the grounds of a nature reserve with great views on many holes. Great practice facilities to warm up including a covered driving range and the halfway house was open on Wednesday when we played. Great value at £40 for a top quality round of golf.
