What can I say. Probably the nicest eatery in Huddersfield. Just shared a first date here this afternoon for an amazing Sunday lunch. The food was simply superb, which makes it great value for money, the service was excellent and so friendly. With a lovely busy atmosphere. Such a lovely an memorable place.

I believe The Scullery is the best restaurant in Huddersfield. I have now been 4 times, including for an anniversary dinner and even once just to have a sit down and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere with a glass of mulled wine. The homemade food is always stunning, made with fresh and seasonal ingredients (they change their menu to fit the season because they use local products). I love their fish dishes and the second time I went I had the most amazing soup. The service is good and staff always do their best to accommodate even on busy days. I could not praise this place enough, absolutely love the food. The Scullery is a hidden gem and I will come again!!

What an amazing place. The staff were very helpful, friendly and responsive. The food was delicious, well presented and came in very generous portions.The roast beef I had was lovely and tender. Good choice of drinks, next time I might try a cocktail as they sound great. I can tell they really care about cleanliness too.

We have visited this restaurant more than any other since they opened in 2019 and the standards have always been high (in fact I think they get better!). The food is modern British cuisine using locally sourced seasonal ingredients and the flavours on offer are bold and delicious. The Sunday Lunch menu is a real highlight with 3 courses for £30 featuring a selection of Roast Dinners that are hard to beat. The Brunch menu is really varied with your traditional Full English, Eggs Benedicts, Avo on Toast as well as some new additions like Savoury Crepes and Pancake Stacks for the sweet tooths- you can also go bottomless with some refreshing Mimosas and Bellinis. The standard A La Carte has some fantastic options too- a decent list of small plates if you fancy tapas style as well as some gorgeous main course dishes to suit every palate. The signature Steak and Ale Pie is not to be missed and has been consistently good since day one! As we approach summer do not skip their stunning secret garden which on a sunny day makes you forget you are in Huddersfield- our favourite place to relax with great food and drinks. Talking of drinks, the wine list is extensive and they have picked some truly fabulous wines to pair with the food. There is also a cocktail list as well as local beers. Steve and Helen do an amazing job at running the best restaurant in Huddersfield- we highly recommend a visit but be warned you will keep going back for more

We had a family meal last night ( Saturday 21st Dec) and just had to write this review. It was absolutely fantastic. The food was delicious and it all came out perfect. The service was incredible, all the staff were so friendly and very attentive. A credit to them all… The owner ( Steve I think) was such a lovely man within the hospitality sector. We will all be definitely coming back to this beautiful restaurant in the near future. Highly recommended..

Brilliant service from EPS. It was an emergency job and they came out the same day and arrived at the time stated. Both the lads that came were very professional and friendly. They kept me updated with what they were doing & what the problem was. They worked to a high standard and tidied up after themselves. I would not hesitate in using EPS again and highly recommend them.

We recently had a full house rewire, Paul and Jae were excellent. They settled every worry I had and accomodate the ideas I put forward. Highly recommend, excellent communication and all the people who work there have been lovely to deal with.

Café Mood is by far the cleanest café in Huddersfield! The place is spotless, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The honey cake was absolutely incredible, full of flavour and perfectly fresh. The hospitality was outstanding, with friendly and attentive staff who made the experience even better. And of course, the coffee was top-notch—rich, smooth, and expertly made. The cutest shop I have come across! I have been looking for a Spanish latte everywhere in Huddersfield and this is the only place I was able to find. The Spanish latte was 10/10!! Service was also excellent. Will be returning for the Spanish latte and to try the food.

Halal Kurdish Cafe Kids and I were trying to find a place for a quick lunch whilst waiting for our train. We stumbled across Mood Cafe in town centre close to train station. As we sat down I was pleasently surprised that it was a halal food place. The joy when I realised I could order whatever I wanted without hesitation was lovely. I went for a toastie that had turkey bacon and cheese. Girls had just cheese toasties. Food was prepared fresh and came wrapped in foil which became really handy for us as we had to rush out because our train came early! The owner was so accomadating and friendly, he offered to put our hot drinks into take away cups and gave us a bag for all our toasties! Bonus point for that! The desserts all looked home made and I wish I had time to try some. Will definitely have to pop in to do so. My daughters thoroughly enjoyed their hot chocolates as they got to have halal marshamllows on top 😅 Kurdish tea was nice with the spices but I would have appreciated it more if it wasn’t brewed in the cup with a tea bag. Overall the place had a lovely vibe. Enjoyed our quick visit. Definitely would pop in again

This Guy is the kindest, most helpful and knowledgeable guy I had the good fortune of calling in my hour of need. Sunday evening emergency and he helped out immediately and diagnosed over the phone and got my electricity on again. He knows what he is doing and I’m glad it was him I called. Excellent service. Called today after house flooded, received good advice over the phone and promised to call back later and come out. Received a call at the time promised, and the work was completed swiftly. Everything was explained concisely without jargon (and no condescending ‘tradesman to woman’ stuff, if you’re female you’ll know what I mean!). I feel the price was reasonable considering the swift, skilled service. Receipt/invoice provided for insurer. And to top it all off, a very friendly and personable chap. Really pleased with everything and can recommend confidently.

I have been twice now to forever blessed after work, and i will definitely be a regular now! the staff are so friendly, polite and very professional. the food is great and the prices are EXCELLENT! you definitely get your money’s worth. the atmosphere is great within the cafe me and my friends aren’t exactly quiet but the staff are great, and always join in with our conversation! definitely a 5 star cafe! would highly recommended!

Full house rewire completed in just 2 days with minimal intrusion/damage to the walls. Still cannot get over how tidily such a potentially messy job was done. Great communication throughout process and did everything he could to ensure we were happy with with the work. Would highly recommend to anyone and would happily use again for any work in the future. Highly recommend! Brooke electrical has really been my saving grace! Michael was recommended to me by someone I work with, as I was at the end of my tether with some ongoing issues within my home I have just bought in the September 2024. He was quick to respond and on short notice, popped round to assess the situation, long story short he has now fixed all my lights in my home, fitted an extractor fan and also installed a new induction hob. If I have any more projects for the future, Brooke Electrical is the first place I will call!

Absolutely amazing venue with delicious food and wine! We had our school mums Christmas night out here and when booking I spoke with the owner Regan who booked to top floor for us from 7pm until close as there were 20+ mums. Regan was very helpful and discussed food options with me and arranged a a very appetising charcuterie table which had so much food and selection that catered for everyone’s needs. The service on the night from Simeon and the staff was excellent. Both food a drink were very good value for money, We will definitely be booking our future get togethers here.

What a fantastic place! We've visited several times now, as a couple and with friends, from a chilled Sunday afternoon to a lively Friday night, even a midweek comedy night hosted by Jason Manford's brother! The wine is excellent, my wife drank more than her fair share, the staff are friendly and the food is truly outstanding. Highly recommend!

Came for our end of term works do so we had the upstairs to ourselves. We had the graze boards...i had the veggie one which was shared between 4 of us n there was plenty to eat. Inside was nice but some parts upstairs were not properly finished e.g ceiling painting was patchy n you could tell it wasnt taped off when done...but this didnt distract from the beautiful food n friendly bar staff though. I would defo visit again 😃

Charlotte has put on a jumbo breakfast on her Xmas menu and it was fabulous and belly filling for £15. Faultless. Proper Heinz and HP on offer + proper butter for toast. I had mine without the fried bread. A brekkie that will fill you for the day. Highly recommend a visit.

Our second visit to this lovely cafe, to try their new outdoor area! We enjoyed pancakes and coffees while the boys fed the ducks through the glass balcony that backs onto the canal, there are duck food cones available to purchase! We have two energetic boys and this was just the best place to take them, the service is always lovely here too. Reasonably priced and always a warm welcome ☺️ will definitely be back again!

Excellent. Good variety on the menu all at such a reasonable price but without compromising the quality of food which was super tasty and importantly HOT! It’s not always easy to find a decent coffee but the Cappuccino was excellent. My little girl was over the moon with her Deluxe hot chocolate! The cafe even has a small selection of games and books for the little ones and big ones! We will Definitely be back

A wonderful find, tucked away in plain sight. A total fluke that I visited, but sooo glad that I did! It's a tiny cafe with excellent, friendly customer service, exactly the food you want to eat, prepared fresh and great quality. The atmosphere of the cafe is brilliant, but it's the view when ordering, (washing up 🤪) or sat in their outdoor space that makes it truly special. Seek it out...there's even more to discover!

Had a brilliant breakfast at the bridge cafe this morning. The full English does not disappoint. Fantastic value for money for £10 and massive portions with unlimited toast. Food items are great quality. Old school interior like cafes used to be. Spotlessly clean very quick service and really friendly staff. Lots of locals dropping in that are obviously regulars. You must try it we are definitely coming back.

Jordan (and Jack) have just completed a full rewire at my house. Jordan came round really quickly to sort a quote and arrange a date to start, and I didn’t have to wait long for either. Super professional, reliable, really friendly and easy to get on with which made the process so much easier. Great at what he does, explained things the whole way through and kept me up to date throughout. As part of the rewire he also arranged for a plasterer which was a big bonus and a lot less hassle having to sort myself. They did a great clean up job after. Really happy with all the work done. Highly recommended!

Found Tico Electrical online and as they had great reviews used their webpage contact page to send a message. I needed an EV charger installing. Jordan responded almost straight away, came around to survey the job and give me a price. I sourced the charger and he returned to fit as soon as it was delivered and had a space in his diary. Even though he had never fitted that model before, it was no problem. It was installed and up and running in no time. Minimum fuss and no time wasted. He even contacted the manufacturers tech support line to have them help me set up my account. Great firm and won't hesitate to use the lads again for any other jobs.

I asked TH Electrical to do some rewiring on an old property I recently purchased. The team arrived bang on time for a full day of work. There were a couple other items added to the list of jobs and that was taken in their stride. Everything got completed to the highest level of quality. All members of the team were really nice and professional and communicated clearly with me. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company. Trustworthy, reliable and professional. TH electrical were recommended to us by a neighbour 11 years ago. With a whole house to renovate we have turned to them every time we have been ready for electrical work doing. They have never let us down on either price, or timing. They are professional and pleasant to deal with. They have yet again just helped to sort out an outbuilding at our property and done an outstanding job. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend !

TH Electrical have done a few jobs for me over the years and were my first port of call when I moved house. Even though I now live in north wales the distance wasn’t a problem. They came early and fitted two external sockets, a new consumer unit, led down lighters in my kitchen and bathroom. Really happy with the work they did , efficient clean and tidy as always. Would definitely recommend. 5 ⭐️
