Lovely food. Somewhere that bakes cakes and scones that are home-made, so not overly sweet. Unlike the ultra-processed, uniformly pretty but deadly ones you get in most coffee shops. Selection of savoury, hot food that is healthy enough to be guilt-free but not that healthy you don't actually want to eat it. A real balancing act. Great customer service too. Sells locally made gifts so helps keep money in the community. Parking behind the mill.

LOVE IT my new all-time fav Fancy a good coffee surrounded by art and plants? WHICH YOU CAN BUY? yes, yes you do. The girls working the day I went were so lovely and I stayed probably an hour, browsing their HUGE selection of items from different crafts for sale and the back has items too to see. Definitely worth the visit! You won’t regret it.

Great service from Matt, we had to wait a while until he could visit us as he is so busy (always a good sign), but he worked out what the problem was and ordered the part in advance, so he could fix our oven. He is a really nice and helpful guy, and would definitely recommend him.

Good communication from confirming appointment, reminder the day before and update as Matt was able to get to me slightly earlier on the day. He assessed what needed doing and went about the repair and also tested my Britannia Range cooker to ensure all working correctly. Took me through what he had done. Happy with the price and very happy with Matt and his professional attitude. I can happily recommend Matt and will definitely use again if and when needed.

I had a solar & battery system installed at my property & I cannot fault this company. From the initial in depth information given & great communication to the installation, everything was very professional & immaculate. Despite some horrific weather during the install, the team still pushed on & got the job done in a timely manner. The owner & staff have all been really friendly, polite & knowledgeable. Following the hike in energy prices last year, together with abysmal interest rates offered by the banks for savings accounts, I decided it would be better to make my money work for me, that means Solar Energy. As we already use Coretech for our business Electrical needs and knowing that they always do a good job, they were the obvious choice. A combination of Solar Panels, Inverters and Battery Storage have been installed to a high standard by courteous, knowledgeable staff. But the one thing that most impressed me was the passion they have, starting from the top (Craig the "Solar Yoda") down to the individual installers. This a company that still understands the meaning of great customer service. After Craig and his team had done such a speedy and professional job of replacing our broken inverter a free year ago, I naturally went back to him when I was thinking about installing battery storage. As normal Craig was professional, providing a quote in a short time, which I duely accepted. There was a delay with sourcing the kit,an industry wide issue, but I was kept informed throughout the period and in the end the kit arrived 3 months earlier than forecast. The installation was conducted very professionally and a small issue with the installation discovered during the install was quickly resolved. Follow up questions were speedy answered. I would recommend Coretech to anybody, you could not have a more professional company.

Nice place overlooking the river, can't comment on food as yet, friendly staff, maybe a few plants to soften the building. My only gripe shared toilets, I know it's a modern world but,having worked in a multitude of places, where most woman wouldn't like sharing with blokes, for reasons best not talked about. Apart from that great space, looking forward to sitting on the deck in summer. Update more seating and space, still needs some plants, real or otherwise. Cake is missing 🍰, you need something sweet with a coffee, scone, biscuit anything, but nowhere to be found? Pardun the pun. I like the vibe in the alley lots of bars of different description.

Very pleasantly surprised I had not expected this. Classical English Sunday roast on a high level of culinarily experience taste and presentation wise. Nice German beer, also quite surprising in deep Yorkshire. Pleasantly interested but not obnoxious or snobby personell..just a place to BE and enjoy. Definitely coming back

This will no doubt become a very successful place for everyone to enjoy drinks hot/cold and delicious food. The service from staff was warming and welcoming. The coffee was 5/5 and you leave having no doubt to plan your next visit. The interior is modern with a relaxing feel, making you want to order that second coffee. Great work to the staff there, would highly recommend and will be visiting again soon.

Warmed up in here mid bike-ride We couldn't have had a better lunch break! The staff were so lovely: they couldn't have done enough for us, checking we had enough blankets and warm drinks. Gorgeous place. Cosy, affordable and delicious food and drink. Portion sizes are fabulous! You get a lot of tea. Decaf option was available too which was amazing ! I recommend their brownies and scones - they provide butter , cream and jam in separate pots for you to use! Amazing customer service- super friendly , affable and sweet :) thank you both 🖤

Quirky cafe with upstairs seating as well as downstairs. They have homemade jewellery and other items for sale as well. I liked the pictures of book titles in the toilet. They also had sanitary items and nappies which is a nice touch. Small but tasty menu. We had the Greek salad and quiche. They finish serving food at 2pm. Friendly staff. They also do a breakfast menu until 11.30am.

This Guy is the kindest, most helpful and knowledgeable guy I had the good fortune of calling in my hour of need. Sunday evening emergency and he helped out immediately and diagnosed over the phone and got my electricity on again. He knows what he is doing and I’m glad it was him I called. He saved me a hefty call out fee and charged a very reasonable amount for the phone diagnoses. Thank you so much

Excellent service. Called today after house flooded, received good advice over the phone and promised to call back later and come out. Received a call at the time promised, and the work was completed swiftly. Everything was explained concisely without jargon (and no condescending ‘tradesman to woman’ stuff, if you’re female you’ll know what I mean!). I feel the price was reasonable considering the swift, skilled service. Receipt/invoice provided for insurer. And to top it all off, a very friendly and personable chap. Really pleased with everything and can recommend confidently.

Hide out organised the perfect party! If you need a venue that has everything they are the place to be! The vibe is very good everyone enjoyed the music and the very aesthetic decoration. The food is very good with brilliant presentation and portion. The communication is outstanding and very fast response. They even baked me my birthday cake! The staff are all very accommodating. Popped into this little bar while in Holmfirth. Quite small so we went upstairs to another smaller area. Only a couple of tables but what a wonderful little area with lots of quirky things scattered around. Service was quick & the staff friendly. £23 for 4 drinks was probably a little more expensive than the average (for the area) but worth the experience If you visit, make sure you also experience their toilet ...... best public toilet I've ever had the pleasure of using 😉

An Outstanding professional service all provided with a supportive and cheerful demeanour.
