Only a handful of experiences so far but all have filled us with confidence. We have a sensitive dog and the approach by the vets has been fantastic. Huge contrast to our last vets - very happy, kicking myself for not registering with these guys sooner.

Really great vets, Vet Alison at the Barnoldswick site is lovely and so gentle with my 2 pooches. Would highly recommend. Plus doing the payment plan for visits means I save money in the long run too! Perfect!

They were really good with my doggy, she had an infection and they were so careful with her, after one week with antibiotics she is completely fine now. I'll definitely choose them as our veterinary for Freya.

I absolutely love this vet. It's independent and works with the owner to care for their ill animal. It's not just about money. The vets are very nice and the receptionist always books me in very quickly. She also deals with me freaking out over email quite a few times (sorry but thank you). I really love this little vet practice. It's how all vets should be run.

I couldn't ask for a better , more thorough vet than Emily Legate. The surgery is amazing and the staff are highly knowledgeable and very reasonably priced which is an added bonus but ultimately I use this veterinary surgery because I had a years worth of unsolved issues with my prescious boys ear, in one visit we had swabs taken then discovered he had a deformed ear canal in the offending ear , then he was booked in swiftly for an ear flush under anesthetic, Emily filmed the ear canal and debris in it ,for me to better understand the situation with his ear. I can't praise these guys enough and they have my recommendation to any one who wants caring, thorough up to date and highly trained veterinary care . It's a big thumbs up from me and Roman dog. I wish I could put 10 stars !!

I'd just had a bad experience with another vet practice (not in Otley). I was nervous about trying another after moving, but I couldn't have felt more reassured. The staff were so lovely! I wasn't rushed, the vet went out of their way to make my cat feel comfortable, and gave me lots of great advice. So grateful to have such caring, professional and reasonably priced vet practice nearby who truly put animals before all else. Can't recommend them enough.

The best vets all the family has had the pleasure of using. The prices are very reasonable, ample parking at the side/rear of the surgery. Appointments can be booked in advance and also given same day or within a day or two upon phoning. We have over the years had to use the out of hours service for the dogs and we are always impressed with the high quality of service provided. We are always kept informed if any of the animals have to stop overnight or have been in for day surgery. We would not take our animals anywhere other than cross green vets !

I've been bringing my french bulldog dog pebbles to see Terry for nearly 6 years now. He is a great vet and amazing around animals. He puts them at ease and makes everyone feel welcome. He's very knowledgeable about flat faced breeds and listens to any concerns we may have. A very helpful vet indeed.

Gatehouse Veterinary Group showed amazing professionalism and empathy when we had to use them to deal with our dog who had injured his leg on a walk. He had some how severed a vein and required minor surgery to repair it. The team were brilliant working swiftly to deal with the emergency all on News Years Eve.

We had James and Murphy in for two weeks (with Liam supervising) putting in some raised decking in the back garden. They were extremely considerate of us and our neighbours at all times, and kept us fully informed about the progress of the work, even when we didn't ask. Our garden has restricted access so some of the aspects of deliveries were complicated but this was handled seamlessly. Their quality of work is very good and they involved us when decisions needed to be made, giving advice but leaving it ultimately up to us. They left the space incredibly tidy when they left, and it looks like we have a completely new garden! They were one of the best contractor teams we've had working on the house.

We had an absolutely brilliant experience working with the FirstLight team. After being disappointed by several companies Neal really took on board what we wanted. The team (headed up by Dave) were informative throughout, even keeping me up to date while I was away on holiday. Incredibly clean and tidy at the end of each working day. Any changes we made were taken onboard without any fuss. The quality of workmanship is clear to see and we now have a beautiful back garden that we can really enjoy and show off. FirstLight Landscaping are a good company to work with when you're looking for a competent landscaping company that can project manage really well. We were looking to refresh the garden, as how we use the space is functionally different than the previous owners of our home. With FLL's designs (via Neal), we were able to discuss and alter them as often as we needed. When we eventually got to the work actually beginning (on Liam's side), their team were really flexible, and allowed us to add or change things in the design when we realised other needs for the space. Also, Ian and Rich, who worked on-site for the duration of the project, were lovely people who did great work, and knew a lot from their own experience, that helped inform when there were potentially better design choices. Overall, FLL are a trustworthy company, and I'd be happy to use their services again if the chance came up.

FirstlightLandscaping first built our raised decking 14 years ago so when it needed replacing we didn’t hestitate to contact them again. As before Liam, Neal & their team were so respectful & professional & did a fantastic job replacing our wooden decking for composite. There were a few hiccups with the delivery of materials from a third party but we were kept informed all the time. The FirstLight team were great from start to finish. We wanted a patio doing after having some work done on the house - Neal was really helpful with ideas, designs and advising on ways to keep to budget. All of the team were extremely professional and friendly. Most importantly we’ve been really impressed with the quality of their work. It has been finished to a really high standard. They kept the site as tidy as possible. We were also away on holiday for some of the work and the team kept us updated with pictures and were always available to chat to if needed. Would highly recommend!

Charlotte was very kind, considerate and respectful, she explained the whole procedure, gave us time to say our final goodbyes. She sent us a card with our dogs paw print and nose print on which so thoughtful. We requested an individual cremation and she returned the ashes to us with some beautiful little memories including some fur in a lovely bottle. We have another old dog and when her time comes I will most definitely use Charlotte's services again.

It has taken me weeks to write this review because I am devastated by the loss of my Lottie. The time had come to make that awful decision that all pet owners dread. I was told about Charlotte and her home euthanasia service by my own vet and I am just so grateful. Charlotte was wonderful. She handled Lottie so gently, showed my husband and myself such kindness and compassion. She made such a sad situation bearable and I can't thank her enough. I would recommend Charlotte to anyone in the same situation as myself. She took control and organised everything including Lottie's cremation. I will be forever grateful.

Charlotte made one of the most difficult decisions and experiences we’ve ever had to face much more bearable. We had to say goodbye to our 15 year old springer, Maddie, who was so loved by all in the family. We’ve been with Oakwood Vets for well over 15 years and they looked after both our cats that have now sadly passed away. We have nothing but praise for the team. Our cats received expert care for many years and we cannot thank them enough for the compassion shown when our eldest cat passed away earlier this year. We always have a wonderful experience when visiting the vet and we have to come once a month for our cat's injections. You can tell that the vet really cares about animals and the well being of them. Our beautiful Puka has been spayed in Oakwood veterinary surgery. I think it was the best decision we made to bring her exactly to this vet clinic and we was travelling from ls12 area because clinic was recommended to me.
