Hide out organised the perfect party! If you need a venue that has everything they are the place to be! The vibe is very good everyone enjoyed the music and the very aesthetic decoration. The food is very good with brilliant presentation and portion. The communication is outstanding and very fast response. They even baked me my birthday cake! The staff are all very accommodating. They have everything you need and they sure did the extra mile to give us the best experience. Definitely coming back again! Well deserved 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Popped into the Hideout a few weeks ago for a quick drink with friends and like it so much I came back last night for a sharing board with another friend. The food was delicious and plenty for 2 of us. A warm welcome and a lovely chilled atmosphere which is rare for Holmfirth on a Friday night. The Hideout should be busier than it was for a weekend but then I guess the feel of the place would totally change.

The best bottomless brunch! From start to end the service has been 5 star. Cannot thank the staff enough for the effort they put into the brunch. Will be back and would recommend to anyone querying where to go in holmfirth.

Popped into this little bar while in Holmfirth. Quite small so we went upstairs to another smaller area. Only a couple of tables but what a wonderful little area with lots of quirky things scattered around. Service was quick & the staff friendly. £23 for 4 drinks was probably a little more expensive than the average (for the area) but worth the experience If you visit, make sure you also experience their toilet ...... best public toilet I've ever had the pleasure of using 😉

I cannot recommend Mark enough, I was quoted £230 for a job he did for £80. I called him out for a blocked toilet and he was out within the hour. My electric shower wasn't allowing water to flow, but I had hot high pressure water throughout the rest of the house. Mark took the time to assess any electrical faults in the initial unit, and tried to isolate the water to flow through my existing shower. He told me the exact kw needed for the new model, and even recommend what and where to buy from. Mark absolutely went out of his way, not only fitting the new shower but finding a potentially dangerous electrical fault in.my cellar. He would not leave until he knew I had the information to fix my electrics. He didn't need to look at my fuse box but did out of common decency and dudiligence. Thank you so much Mark I appreciate your hard work!

Mark is an amazing man with his work! He came to remove an old oven and to fit a new oven which was going from gas to electric. The knowledge this man has for his work is outstanding, he quoted me £120 for this job. He spent 8 hours at my home doing this job because the electrics was being difficult and still wanted £120 but I said no and gave him £200 because the work he did was amazing, the kind man he is, full of conversation, takes pride in his work. I would 100% recommend this man to anybody. I rang him and he was straight out to do it, no messing about. Absolutely amazing worker

Rang mark at3pm today he was there by 4pm to sort out leaking water pipes under the sink unit. All sorted by 4 30. Cannot believe the fantastic service and reasonable cost. Would definitely recommend. Such a nice polite friendly person

Mark came out on an urgent Sunday call today from the other side of Huddersfield, used the last of his petrol (literally) to get here, and worked up a ladder in the dark, wind and the rain to help us with our soil stack that had come loose in the storm. Can't thank you enough for your help today Mark and I hope the can of fuel was enough to get you to the nearest petrol station! Really genuine and no-nonsense guy. Thank you.

Mark literally saved my life today - my house sprang a leak at 4am and he was out by 8am to fix it for me, and that’s only because I said I’d rather wait and get some sleep. His prices are very affordable, he’s knowledgable about his craft and diligent in getting the job done. Cannot recommend this man enough!

Warmed up in here mid bike-ride We couldn't have had a better lunch break! The staff were so lovely: they couldn't have done enough for us, checking we had enough blankets and warm drinks. Fabulous spot. I visited here with a couple friends after doing a local hike and we were all equally impressed with Ribbles of Holmfirth. From the moment we walked through the door we were greeted with a warm welcome from the lady behind the counter (sorry I never got your name!). Great drinks, even better food, beautiful surroundings. It made a wonderful change having some older music on in the background, such a nice place to be. I had a hash stack and everything was cooked to perfection. Full of flavour and all at a great price. I was very surprised when going upstairs to the bathroom that there's another floor to sit within too. The bathroom was also clean and tidy, finished off with individual hand towels which is a very welcome addition. Overall we loved it here and will return in the future without hesitation.

Quirky cafe with upstairs seating as well as downstairs. They have homemade jewellery and other items for sale as well. I liked the pictures of book titles in the toilet. They also had sanitary items and nappies which is a nice touch. Small but tasty menu. We had the Greek salad and quiche. They finish serving food at 2pm. Friendly staff. They also do a breakfast menu until 11.30am.

Gorgeous place. Cosy, affordable and delicious food and drink. Portion sizes are fabulous! You get a lot of tea. Decaf option was available too which was amazing ! I recommend their brownies and scones - they provide butter , cream and jam in separate pots for you to use! Amazing customer service- super friendly , affable and sweet :) thank you both 🖤

From initial quote through to finished job everything went seamless. We had a complete new bathroom suite, replacement floor, walls back to bare brick, replastered and tiled. Matt & Paul have done a fantastic job of replacing our bathroom suite and retiling the floor and walls, as well as retiling our kitchen floor. Having read previous reviews and having met Matt on a couple of occasions prior to them starting work, we were comfortable allowing them to carry out the work whilst we were on holiday. When we returned, after only 10 days, they had not only completed the work to an excellent standard, they had also done a great job of leaving the house clean and tidy. Beau Plumbing were the only company who responded to our request for a quote for our business, and were also prompt, friendly and efficient in all their communications with us. I would have no hesitation in using them again and would happily recommend them to others.

Went to The Barn for the first time tonight with a group of friends. We were so impressed. Lovely quirky little restaurant with a great atmosphere. Ben and the team are so lovely and welcoming and the service was spot on. The food was absolutely gorgeous. I had prawns to start - sublime. Then steak - perfection with a sauce that was so moorish I could have eaten a whole bowl of it on its own. To finish- churros- served hot and crisp with a dusting of sugar and cinnamon and a warm dipping chocolate - just divine. The rest of our party had goats cheese salads and chicken taco starters, followed by either steaks or sea bass. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We will definitely be going back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The whole team at Peak Heating have been amazing. As part of our project to replace the roof at the centre we have had to move gas pipes. The team at peak heating came out at short notice and provided a quote over the Christmas Period, then completed the work just after Christmas in a timely and professional manner, working around the needs of the centre. Lee and his son did a fantastic job replacing my old boiler with a combi one. They estimated taking 2 days but with the hard work they put in on day 1 they only needed to do half a day to complete on the 2nd day (and this included spending 3.5 hours locating my central heating pump on day one!!). I trusted them so much I left them a key on the first day to lock up as I was going out. It was a lovely surprise to come home to find out they had fully cleaned up after themselves. I would 100% recommend these guys, they go over and above for the Customer

From the moment we chose our bespoke fitted kitchen to the installation everything was fantastic and was carried out fitted to an extremely high standard. The redesign of our kitchen was fabulously done by Jovy. He explained everything in detail, the installation team lead by Danny was first class. Jovy and his team came to our assistance as Our Cistern had corroded and we needed a new boiler, radiators and shower, these were fitted and tested within 5 days. There work is outstanding and the quality of the products installed were excellent and exactly to our requirements. I am so pleased with the service from Jovy Danny and Ethan they went above and beyond fitting and replacing items and they cleaned and replaced carpets furniture as they had never been moved. We had a leak from our upstairs shower that damaged the living room ceiling, and Jovy did an amazing job fixing it! He quickly found the fault, repaired the leak and later returned to patch up the ceiling. The result is smooth and flawless. He and his crew were polite, funny and left everything spotless.
