We hired Tor to help with our wedding in July and really cannot thank or recommend her enough. Our wedding was held at our family farm, and whilst this seemed like a great idea, we also had so many possibilities of things going wrong on the day. As soon as we had Tor’s input into the wedding, she gave us every bit of confidence that the day would run as beautifully as it did. From the week leading up to the wedding, all of our suppliers couldn’t believe how relaxed I was and this was definitely thanks to Tor. Tor was there at all hours to answer any questions, help me make decisions, and make suggestions that I definitely wouldn’t have thought of (without being annoying ha!). On the day of the wedding I was able to have such a lovely morning with the bridal party, and throughout the day knew everything was being taken care of which resulted in being able to actually enjoy our wedding day without any stress (which a lot of couples don’t get to do). Tor is such a lovely person and so easy to get on with, even if it wasn’t wedding chat we would still have a laugh.. we had so many comments from guests about how incredible our wedding was, how smooth the day went, and how fab Tor was behind the scenes. We have said from the start, hiring Tor was the best decision we made…we are also convinced she could plan a wedding on Mount Everest and it run smoothly. From our very first meeting we knew that Tor was the person to plan our wedding with us. She had the best personality, was easy to get on with and she was obviously very knowledgeable in her field which filled us both with confidence. Myself and Dave are very busy people, and got especially busy as we were planning our wedding. Tor was there day and night, no matter what time I messaged her with a query or idea she was on the ball so fast. Tor also recommended the best suppliers. One of them being Gemma from Rock and Wreath, our flowers were absolutely unreal and I felt confident giving Gemma complete freedom and creative license with her designs. I had an idea of maybe having a live sketch artist but after searching and searching I couldn’t find the right person. Tor absolutely pulled it out the bag and found the amazing little Beth Illustrations. We would have never had such special wedding favors if it wasn’t for Tor finding Beth. Tor also found the beautiful Bethan Steers for my hair, and the amazing Beth Kennet for our wedding videography! These two women were an absolute joy of energy to have around on the day, but every single person involved was. So I’m so grateful to Tor for finding all of these wonderful suppliers because they were truly out of this world, every single one of them. On the day of the wedding Tor was never not by my side, anything I needed she was there 100 percent and really had my back no matter how big or small, from making sure I had coffee when I was tired, to emergency steaming my wedding dress. We hired Victoria for the wedding day management for our wedding, and I can't say enough positive words. Even from the start during our intro call, to coordinating with vendors, to the final day wedding celebration, she exceeded our expectations. I was hesitant to hire someone for the day of coordination because I am a planner myself, but Victoria checked every box and she allowed me to unplug and really enjoy the day with my family and friends. Highly recommend her because of her organization skills, professionalism, and how pleasant she was to work with!

As a wedding videographer, I wish every wedding I captured had a Victoria! Having someone like Victoria to go to with questions and check ins made the day run so much smoother than I’m used to! Victoria is the kind of person that is so on it as well and thinks of every little detail but is so creative and flexible in how she works to help and assist with whatever you need throughout the day. Not just for the couple but for the suppliers too! I would urge people to hire her and highly recommend Victoria as the lovely person she is and for the great services she offers!

David did a fantastic job as the DJ for our wedding in Apr 23. From the organisation beforehand, he covered off everything we needed and uses a great website to help you plan all aspects of the night. On the day itself he expertly weaved together all our song requests and grouped the genres in a manner that kept everyone on the dance floor. He went that extra mile to ensure the perfect night, would absolutely recommend for anyone looking for a wedding DJ

David did my wedding and was fantastic from start to finish. His profile he set up for us on his website was fantastic, picking our favourite songs for the wedding, for the first dance, cake cut etc was the best part of planning the wedding. It’s a brilliant way of letting you add your personal touch. Would certainly recommend and if I need a DJ again I know who I’m calling. Top bloke too. Cheers David

David was the DJ for our wedding in October 2021. The service was fantastic and sounded great, he did a brilliant job of tailoring the music to suit our preferred genres and also cater to the crowd. The interface he provided for us to choose our songs was very intuitive and went into a lot of depth, which really made it easy for us to know what sort of information we needed to provide.

The best venue you could possibly book for your wedding! Mark and Deborah are just amazing, from 18 months ago meeting them for the first time right up until the morning after the wedding they could not be more helpful and friendly. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them and they will make sure you have everything you want for your special day. The venue is amazing, they have thought of everything you could possibly need. It absolutely poured down all day for our wedding but Mark really went out of his way driving the bridal party around in his car to make sure none of us got wet getting down to the ceremony. They made sure the venue was properly equipped for such bad weather so that no one even cared about the weather and didn’t ruin the day what so ever. Jennie was also amazing running the day for us, she was always so smiley and so friendly for the whole day and kept checking in with us. She didn’t stop all day making sure it was the perfect day for us and made sure we both had a drink in our hand at all time, she’s an absolute credit to the venue. Every member of staff that worked on the day were so friendly and nothing was ever too much bother. We honestly had the best day ever.

We got married here in July 2024 and it was an unforgettable venue. The views over the hills were stunning and so many beautiful sites for photos. Great for kids as they were running round feeding the sheep and playing outdoor games. More than that, Mark, Debra and Jennie were fantastic. They took the time to really understand us as a couple and get us exactly what we wanted. They went the extra mile to help to create our perfect day - from hanging extra ‘green hangy things’ to driving us in a golf buggy up a hill for the best wedding shots. Mark, Deb, Chantelle and the whole team at the SWF have created the most amazing wedding venue and made our wedding day in August 2024 so magical. They helped us from the very beginning, providing advice and guidance on how the day could run, recommended suppliers and were always a text / call / email away. Nothing was ever too much trouble and they made the planning process seamless. The venue itself is gorgeous set in the Saddleworth Hills and we had full rein of the venue for the full weekend. We could decorate it how we like and could make any finishing touches. They make you feel part of their family (by welcoming you into their home) and this made the whole experience more personal and less stressful for us. You can tell they are proud of what they do, and have created, and want you to have the best wedding day possible. You couldn't ask for anything more from the SWF!

Hired Jessica to dress the room for my daughter's 18th birthday party. She did an absolutely amazing job. The room looked beautiful and was so person centred and fitting to my daughters taste. Jessica was so helpful from the very start and even helped book the room for me I was holding the event in. Her communication skills are on point and her rates are brilliant and certainly for how much hard work she puts into it. Will definitely be using vintage events again for future parties/events.

Absolutely amazing service from start to finish. Great at communication. Jess is superb at what she does. She was there every step of the way to make sure I was happy with the requirements etc, covering every detail. Mr Flavour recently managed and delivered my Halloween themed 40th Birthday party. Prior to the event, Ali and his team liaised with the venue to ensure everyone knew what they were doing to pull off an epic event. Everything was seamlessly organised and flawlessly delivered. From the moment we arrived, the courtyard and bar were set so professionally and truly transformed the venue, it looked like a Halloween movie set. The bar staff and actors set a perfectly eerie tone. The reception was a hit giving everyone the chance to mix and mingle over incredible cocktails that were as tasty as they were theatrical. The barn was set up with an incredible cocktail 'blood' fountain keeping everyone perfectly hydrated, though we were never left wanting with spooky cocktails and shots circulating all night long. The band were phenomenal and had everyone up and dancing all night long. I can't thank the Mr Flavour team enough for delivering the most memorable night of my life!

Viran was a pleasure to deal with when liaising about my mandap and sangeet swing. He was honest, open to working with ideas, new vendors and had his own helpful suggestions too. Whilst timing was tight, him and his team were prompt and the mandap was up ready and decorated early on. Viran from the outset was easy to deal with and a pleasure to work with! I had a vision and he certainly brought it to life! He was confident and didn't let my nerves get in the way and assured me that it would look unreal even though so much is conceptual and cannot be showcases beforehand. He didn't just set up a mandap and walkway but also helped create a traditional Punjabi set up with a beautiful swing for my sangeet! It all looked absolutely perfect, so much so I shed a few years on the day just looking at it all complete! I highly recommend him and he is super reasonable with his costs.
