Jo & Wendy made our wedding at Mythe Barn absolutely perfect. From the start, they truly listened to our ideas and turned our dreams into reality. As a bit of a control freak, I was nervous about giving up control, but I quickly realised I could trust them completely. They exceeded our expectations in every way.

We had two consultations with them, including a final one to go over every detail of our vision. They were incredibly kind and helpful throughout the entire process, always making us feel confident and supported. On our wedding day, everything was exactly as we imagined it, if not better. Jo & Wendy, we can’t thank you enough for making our special day so magical. You’re amazing!

We booked Make It Special Events for our wedding last August.
I’d shopped around for a venue dresser and Make It Special were competitive and recommended by our wedding venue, Mythe Barn. I’m reviewing Instagram it was clear that they were regularly at the venue and knew how to create a beautiful setting.
I’m quite a detailed person and had a very specific idea of exactly what I wanted - however after time working with Jo and Wendy on the proposal I had so much trust in their creative vision and eye for detail that I was open to their ideas and suggestions.
Prior to the wedding day itself they created a mock-up of the table setting at their site in Atherstone. This was so useful as it gave me the opportunity to see in advance exactly how things would look and make changes.
I know I’m biased but what they did on the day I believe to be one of the most beautiful settings I’ve seen at Mythe Barn. It was so classy and elegant and exactly what I’d wanted, if not better!
Jo and Wendy are an absolute dream to work with - they are so hard working and have amazing creativity and attention to detail. I cannot recommend them highly enough - book them, you won’t regret it!
