At 58 years old and second time around, I felt a little awkward taking my mum to look at wedding dresses but Jess was absolutely fabulous from the minute we walked through the door :-) So many gorgeous dresses to choose from, I was spoilt for choice until I spotted my dream dress on the mannequin. Jess made me feel very special and despite setting out 'just to have a look' I bought the one and only dress I tried on the same day. Couple of months before the wedding, mum and I went back to meet Donna, another lovely lady who did an amazing job of shortening the dress and again making me feel a million dollars. From the first contact back in October 2023 where I came in for the appointment with a list of dresses to try on right the way through to collecting my dress 2 days before the big day, you have been amazing. We hired Thomas to keep our wedding guests entertained between our drinks reception and wedding breakfast. As soon as our guests arrived he started straight away and had them hooked from the very beginning. Thomas showed me a magic trick which I still can’t figure out how he did and have been asking my new Wife ever since. Thanks Thomas!

I booked Thomas to perform for my company day and he was amazing, mixing magic with a comedy it was perfect for everyone there, his ability to engage with the whole audience, younger and older and keep everyone engaged was brilliant and before the show he performed some mind blowing close up magic too. 100% recommend Thomas he is brilliant.

Came here about 2 years ago with school and I had a great time with my friends. There are so many activities to choose from, the food was ok, and the rooms where a bit small but warm. My friend said that this was the best place in the UK. I would say it's a great place to stay but I would recommend booking a large room. (not shure if they have any) That's all from me and have a lovely day.

Just got back from a week there, staying in one of the pods. Weather was fantastic which made it more enjoyable. Food was great and plenty of it! Activities were brilliant (good for us, as we were a small group, so had more time on each activity rather than being in a larger group and maybe just getting to do something once) big shout out to the instructors who explained properly on how to do things and helped when things went wrong (like getting stuck 🤣) favourite activities hands down was the via ferrata and the scramble to black rock. Only thing is there is no electric points in the pods (there is usb charging ports though) but I suppose it's teaching the kids about going back to basics. Met some great people (gutted to say some which we will never see again 😢) Would I go back?? Absolutely

We had a beautiful wedding last December at Mount Cook. The centre was very accommodating to our requests and they went above and beyond on our special day. Everything worked out perfectly. The venue, location, parking, rooms, and the Mount Cook staff were spot on. A special thank you to George, Lauren, Hannah, Madeline, and Linda. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants a gorgeous wedding.

Mount Cook came to my work place bringing along all equipment, activities and staff required, they were absolutely phenomenal! Great activities, great staff, super professional, fun and got everyone involved. The staff were relaxed and delivered a fantastic day. Thank you so much. Beautiful place. The grounds are stunning and the staff and wedding organiser (cannot remember her name I'm so sorry) was absolutely amazing the food was lovely the rooms are clean.. my only criticism would be they card machine in the bar area.. once it disconnects from the WiFi it doesn't work and the 'tab' system doesn't work very well as some people managed to get away without paying for their drinks and almost landed the bride and groom with the bill... but other than that it's a lovely place with lovely staff.

Stancliffe Hall was the perfect venue for our beautiful, family wedding in the Peak District. Unless you’re looking for Stancliffe Hall, you may not find it. Stancliffe is hidden behind a long, sweeping drive and nestled within immaculate grounds. This element of surprise is certainly part of its magic, but this exclusivity made our wedding feel so private and secure. This was so important for us as it meant that the children could play together freely and, feeling sure that they were safe, the adults could relax into the day. Stancliffe Hall itself is a beautiful place with a rich and interesting history. The 1816 room was such a perfect venue for our ceremony - we loved that we could have a secular ceremony in a traditional setting. The dining room was a lovely space to hold our wedding breakfast and evening reception but we were also thrilled to have access to a number of other quieter spaces that our guests could enjoy throughout the day. Having use of the spa the evening before our wedding was another an unexpected delight and made for such a lovely, relaxing atmosphere. Being able to stay at Stancliffe the night before really put us all at ease and I would recommend this to any bride or groom who has the opportunity to do so! We also loved that we could offer our families accommodation on site, and that we could enjoy breakfast together the morning after our wedding. Throughout the process of planning our wedding - including rescheduling due to COVID-19 - we had complete confidence in Victoria who, from our first meeting, looked after us really well. Victoria is a really strong events professional and worked so hard to ensure that our day was everything that we had hoped for! Nothing was too much trouble and we have been so thankful for her patience, attention to detail, warmth and pragmatism. We’re so pleased that we chose Stancliffe for our wedding and we are really appreciative of their team, who enabled us to create such a wonderful day to share with our loved ones.

When we first walked into Stancliffe Hall we knew that we were going to make a million memories there. What a monumental transformation of such an historic building, from school to beautifully presented family home. We are lucky that owners, who are personable and down to earth wish to share their home - an idyllic location for a Staycation, Corporate event, or for me, a more than perfect wedding venue. We decided to go all-in with our wedding celebrations and booked to arrive at Stancliffe on a Friday evening, this allowed us time to relax in the lounge, enjoy a game or two of Snooker in the Billiards Room, as well as do a few lengths of the pool and relax with the onsite Spa facilities all before evening food served up by Coghlans – the perfect way to begin your wedding! The wedding day itself went down without a hitch – Victoria was just on point throughout the entire-day, and nothing was ever too much – she really did a great job to ensure that everyone knew their place, all suppliers were welcomed and shown where to go and at each pivotal point in the day checked with us to ensure that we were happy and had everything we needed. Our food, served by the Coghlan’s was outstanding! Everything served hot, and very well presented, and above all else tasted excellent! We’ve been to a number of weddings previously, as guests, and although biased as we are – the food served on our day was simply the best food we have ever had served at a wedding, a special mention to Coghlans for going above and beyond to accommodate our guests’ dietary requirements. We had a lovely afternoon tea served on the Sunday and was permitted to use the back Lawn for Archery and Lawn games to be played by all. Checkout was a very smooth experience. All the staff at Stancliffe were very friendly and super helpful, and all went out of their way to ensure our stay was the very best it could have been. Without a doubt we would recommend Stancliffe Hall to anyone that wants a unique and special day / weekend event!

Visited as my son has booked for his wedding venue - lovely choice and exclusive use on your big day. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are reminiscent of times gone by, everywhere is spotless and I hope the catering on the day is as exvellent as the venue itself.

We just wanted to say a proper ‘thank you’ for the fabulous food that you provided for my Mum’s funeral refreshments at St Barnabas. Right from when I first contacted you, you have been quick to get back to me with answers to any questions I had, and it definitely felt as though nothing was too much trouble. We had so many comments about how delicious the food was, and in particular, those who needed gluten-free/vegan were most impressed by the selection and the taste! Zest provided a delicious meal for our 120 wedding guests including those with specific dietary requirements. Everything was beautifully presented and served piping hot. The staff team served in a helpful and unobtrusive way going the extra mile to make sure everything ran smoothly and in a timely fashion. Highly highly recommend!! We engaged Zest for catering for our small private house wedding. Both for afternoon tea in the afternoon and then an evening three course meal. In both aspects they surpassed our expectations and offered the perfect culinary solution and experience. High quality food, prepared perfectly and executed to the highest standard. We hired Zest 4 Events & Catering to do the buffet lunch for an 80th birthday party. Helen and Natalie were very helpful in planning the event to provide plant-based and vegan dishes for some of our guests. The food as delivered was plentiful, very tasty and beautifully laid out. Our guests thought it was an excellent spread, particularly as some of it was accessible to those with dietary restrictions. Great value; great service. A pleasure doing business with them - highly recommended.

We recently got married at Old Gore Barn in the cotswolds, and Amanda, our wedding stylist, was an absolute dream! I honestly can’t recommend her more if you are looking for a wedding stylist. She was always available, promptly assisting us with any questions or concerns we had. She had a cool, calm, and collected vibe that made us feel at ease during the entire planning process, and we knew we could trust her entirely with brining our vision to life. She had incredible suggestions for our day of how we could include our own sourced decor with her own collection and she just went above and beyond to think about every little detail of styling for the venue. On the big day, we were truly blown away with the attention to detail and scale that Amanda was able to achieve with a tight set up time. We had our guests and other suppliers commenting what an amazing job she had done and what a genuinely gorgeous person she is to work with. If you're getting married and are considering a wedding stylist, my one suggestion is to book Amanda while you can ! Amanda is so talented and incredible at what she does. Where do I even start with this incredible human?! Amanda is the kindest, most creative and inspirational wedding planner, stylist and coordinator. We were lucky enough to have Amanda involved in every aspect of our wedding and we are so thankful for her guidance and support. From our first initial emails, consultation meeting, final meetings and numerous messages (from me!), Amanda was nothing but helpful and supportive. On the day, it was a joy to have Amanda join my bridal prep in the morning, brining a sense of calm, style and humour. She ensured everything was on track and ensured that I was happy and prepared for when we moved to the venue. During the day, we had countless compliments about Amanda's efficiency and how friendly she was. Everything ran like clockwork, with no issues, and I am certain this was due to Superwoman Amanda. She also helped us to achieve the perfect champagne spray photo! The styling... Words fail me. Amanda took our ideas and colours and made it so much more. During our final design meeting, Amanda made detailed notes and offered suggestions for how to syle our venue. We were so confident in her abilities, we encouraged Amanda to do what she does best, and she did! Amanda created the classiest, cosiest, most elegant autumn vibes you could ever imagine. Our photographer, who had worked at the venue numerous other times, said it was the most beautiful she had ever seen it. I truly cannot recommend Amanda enough. She has a heart of gold and I feel so privaledge to have worked with such a creative and inspiring person. Where to begin! Amanda really is one in a million. She helped plan our wedding and I don’t know what we would have done without her. Not only is she incredibly good at what she does and thinks of everything she is also a wonderful person. She’s calm, intuitive, supportive and thoughtful all whilst being amazingly efficient. From zoom calls to site visits to being on site days before the wedding, she goes above and beyond to make sure everything looks and runs as best as it can. I cannot recommend Touch of Charm Venue Styling and Florist highly enough! From the first email they made me feel so welcome and worked closely with me to bring my vision to life. I shared my favorite flowers and the color scheme we had in mind for our wedding, and they went above and beyond to create flowers that were absolutely incredible. They provided us with loose stems, which we set up ourselves in bud vases for the tables. This added such a charming, personal touch to our reception. But the real highlight was my bridal bouquet. It was everything I’d dreamed of and more – honestly, it was so beautiful it brought me to tears when I saw it. The bridesmaid bouquets were equally stunning, the men’s buttonholes stayed fresh and perfect all day, and the wrist corsages were just lovely. Touch of Charm's attention to detail and thoughtfulness were evident in every single piece. To top it off, they even delivered all of the flowers free of charge on the morning of our wedding, taking one more task off our plate on such a busy day. I cannot thank them enough for making our day so beautiful – they truly went above and beyond! Thank you so much!💓

(Would highly recommend getting the light up dance floor - it really does stand out and light up the room and create a focus on the dance floor) Kelly is an expert at what she does and we pretty much told her what we did / did not like and let her work her magic! Recently had the funeral of my late mother and were directed to Touch of Charm florists to arrange the flowers. We would initially like to say a big thank you to Jayne who was very helpful and caring at this very difficult time, she couldn't do enough for us. We had a very personalised service and as my mum loved line dancing, Jayne and the team arranged the flowers in my mums cowboy boots, which more than added to the occasion and complimented her cowboy hat which was dressed with a few small flowers and placed on top of the coffin. Our experience so far has been great with Bespoke and can’t thank our wedding planner Nicole enough for her support. We never thought we’d hear anything back when entering the competition and then receiving a call to say we had won our venue costs for a venue of our dreams was amazing. We get married late 2026 but thanks to the quick responses from Nicole we have managed to secure the majority of our vendors through the competition at some amazing prices which has taken away so much stress so we can focus on the more sentimental details.
