From the moment we walked in, we were amazed by how beautiful Haarlem Mill is. It was the perfect blend of stylish and cosy, with its dramatic industrial backdrop and modern touches that suited our tastes perfectly. It has every room you’d want for a wedding all in one location, and as we got married in February, having plenty of space indoors for guests was hugely beneficial. The quality of the mill is only matched by its incredible staff. Shannon (the wedding coordinator) was invaluable throughout the planning stages: she addressed every question we had leading up to the event, providing advice, reassurance, and support whenever we needed her. On the day, she was exceptional; we were told weddings were stressful, but thanks to Shannon we didn’t feel any of it. No matter when we needed her, or what we needed her for, Shannon was there to support us and we cannot thank her enough. The catering was also wonderful. They went above and beyond for all dietary requirements and made sure that every single guest had food which was delicious, beautiful, and memorable. We were so impressed with the quality and wish we could eat there each week. If you want a beautiful wedding, outstanding staff, and fantastic food, book your wedding at Haarlem Mill.

As soon as we walked in to Haarlem Mill we knew it was the perfect place for our wedding. The aesthetic is just absolutely beautiful, and the service is incredible. Shannon made planning our wedding super easy and orderly. We used Haarlem for our reception, the staff were excellent meeting us at the door with drinks and canapés. The food was to die for, absolutely incredible. The food and drinks are all locally sourced which is such a nice touch and something we really appreciated. After viewing a few wedding venues we chose Haarlem Mill because we loved the industrial mill itself, it was great value for money and Shannon was so helpful. The venue on the day of our wedding looked perfect and we were able to include everything we wanted to, like our dog which was really important to us. We had so many compliments from our guests about the venue, the food and Shannon. We can’t thank Shannon enough for all the help from our first meeting to the wedding day and even after. She made the day flow so well and couldn’t do enough for us, it took all the stress off of us and allowed us to really enjoy the day. We couldn’t recommend Haarlem enough to any couples looking to book their special day.

We got married at Haarlem Mill in August 2024. It was the fourth venue that we viewed and we knew as soon as we walked in that it was for us! The decor is a mixture of rustic and modern and the venue is already dressed to such a beautiful standard that very little extra decoration needed adding on our wedding day. All the added extras such as festoon lighting and foliage in the ceiling ladders are included in your the hire price (which is already super reasonable!) along with the so much more decor the team offer to you when setting up for your day. We were worried about picking a venue that would pressure us for decisions and need to be in constant contact & Haarlem Mill really is the opposite of that. Shannon is the friendliest and most knowledgeable wedding co ordinator who was able to offer us help advice whenever we needed it. She ensured the year planning our day was stress free, and organised a lovely evening where we could taste potential menu options. A separate ceremony room & reception room was important to us and Haarlem Mill offered us this along with a lovely bar area outdoor terrace which we were able to take advantage of on our day! There is an extensive list of food to choose from and the catering team are very flexible so let you pick from different menus, plus will try to accommodate any extras you wish to add into your menu. The food & drink on our day were both fabulous! Thank you to Shannon & the amazing team at Haarlem Mill for helping us plan our day, and also ensuring it ran smoothly! From the centrepieces to the signs outside, right upto the top table (without being biased, it was the best one I've ever seen 😅), was absolutely amazing. It gave the venue such a wonderful look. CANNOT RECOMMEND ENOUGH! I’m so glad I booked Pav back in 2019. For me it’s really important that I can connect with my vendors and Pavs energy really stood out to me, he built a great rapport with me and I knew instantly we could work easily together. Pav is really passionate about his work and this truly comes through in his dedication to go above and beyond to make my wedding special and meet my vision! We had some challenges with the pandemic and Pav was always accommodating and did everything to make sure he could provide a service despite numerous date changes. Working with Pav was the best thing we did. We booked our wedding pre-covid and had to downscale to an intimate wedding of 25. By far my best investment for my wedding day. During planning a wedding people sell you the dream, and then don't come through but Vermillion Events DEFINITELY came through! Pav and his team totally transformed the venue, throughout the process they were flexible, efficient, calm, professional, paid attention to detail and gave me the most competitive quote. I'm a picky person, and like things VERY particular, I don't often use the word perfect but the service, and the outcome was nothing short of perfection. You wont regret booking them. Definitely the best decor company out there! We can’t thank Bekka and her team enough for everything they did at our wedding. The whole venue was transformed both morning and evening to two completely different looks. We were originally going to have our reception outdoors due to weather issues we changed it to indoors in the morning and were worried it wouldn’t look the same inside. However when we saw the decor and what peekaboo created, it completely changed the whole room and looked amazing and exactly what we wanted! Bekka was so good at getting back to us every time we contacted her and was always just a message away if we had any questions. We knew peekaboo knew their stuff so we gave them a guide to what we wanted and left the rest to them and they absolutely smashed it!

The best decor company in the UK. They went above and beyond for my reception decor, dealt with my indecisiveness for months, advised me on what would look best and allowed me to make my own changes making the arrangements bespoke, to reflect my colour scheme. They provided me with extras and transformed the room, making it look so grand. I would fully recommend peekaboo and only peekaboo for decor.. The best in the game!!!!! Thank you so much!

We had our daughter’s wedding on the 01/02/25. This was our first wedding we were completely inexperienced and apprehensive. However, Saleem from start to finish was professional, knowledgeable, caring and most all made us feel at ease. It's one of the nicest and most serene venues I've been so far in years. The owner is business minded. I say this because a beautiful garden is attached to the Hall where good pictures can be taken and canapés can be served before the hall is opened for the guests. There is parking just opposite the hall and also on the side roads. The toilets are sparkling clean and you have a reception area as well. I can only give this venue a 5 star.

I recently had my nikah at Occasions Events Venue, and it was an exceptional experience. Saleem, the event manager, demonstrated excellent communication throughout, ensuring every detail was taken care of. The decor and food surpassed our expectations, creating a truly magical atmosphere. The venue's fantastic parking facility and beautiful outdoor private space added to the overall charm. I don't even know where to begin!! I was absoloutely stunned at how amazing Sophie and the team did on our wedding day. The decorations were beyond beautiful and you guys worked so hard and even in the hottest day on record!! I had no idea what I wanted when I first came to your studio and it's like you guys were in my head and created this vision that was perfect. Even the moongate (with the last minute alterations) was absoloutely amazing and I loved it even more than the original plan! Everyone was so impressed with how the venue was decorated. Our Wedding Day was PERFECT, partly because we had Imagine Event's style it! They really listened to exactly what we wanted and it was just perfect. It looked amazing, we had massive artificial flowers and not one guest knew they wasn't real. They honestly looked amazing. Their replies are also so so fast and nothing is ever too much trouble for them. Sophie and the team went above and beyond for our beautiful wedding day. I changed my mind multiple times with colour, decor and a huge delay due to Covid was partly the cause for my decision changes. Regardless, nothing was too much for Sophie and the team, they were always professional and friendly, even on the night before when I realised I had missed off the order chair seat robes for the ceremony chairs and had only accounted for the wedding breakfast chairs, Sophie saw how upset and stressed I was and sent a member of staff the following day (wedding day) to arrange this for us at no extra cost which was amazing.
