My husband and I were so pleased with how Sam styled the venue for our wedding ceremony and evening reception. From the day I contacted her to discuss about ideas that I had prior to the wedding, she was so helpful, patient and professional. Whenever I had any questions, she was friendly, approachable and responding to me very quickly. We'd highly recommend Willow and Rust weddings to any couples! We had so many compliments from our guests. She created beautiful centrepieces and backdrops. As we had our ceremony, drinks reception and evening reception at the same venue, she was happy to come back to the venue to rearrange all the decors and discussed everything with the venue staffs so we didn't need to worry about anything. Samantha took the reins from us around a month before our wedding. She understood very quickly what we wanted but also added a lot of experience styling our marquee. Samantha is an incredibly talented wedding venue decorator! We cannot recommend her enough! We loved that we could go for an eco-friendly way to decorate our venue, there is no way we would be able to comfortably fit 60 glass vintage vases and 100 candlesticks in our own home!! I really love her sustainable approach to styling weddings. Samantha tailored our venue style to suit us and worked with us to bring our vision of our wedding to life. Our venue was transformed into a rustic vintage woodland, with lots of gorgeous fabrics, beautiful golden candlesticks (all child safe LED lights) and beautiful glass pieces. On the day of the wedding, she worked so quickly putting everything together. Having her as our stylist took so much stress out of our big day, she managed all the decoration, styling, set up and packing up next the day. It really makes such a big difference! As we had to pack up our own stuff (in such a tiny car!), manage other wedding tasks, and get ourselves down to the venue. Samantha did an amazing job, and everything looked so beautiful and elegant. After viewing a few wedding venues we chose Haarlem Mill because we loved the industrial mill itself, it was great value for money and Shannon was so helpful. The venue on the day of our wedding looked perfect and we were able to include everything we wanted to, like our dog which was really important to us. We had so many compliments from our guests about the venue, the food and Shannon. We can’t thank Shannon enough for all the help from our first meeting to the wedding day and even after. She made the day flow so well and couldn’t do enough for us, it took all the stress off of us and allowed us to really enjoy the day. We couldn’t recommend Haarlem enough to any couples looking to book their special day.

From the moment we walked in, we were amazed by how beautiful Haarlem Mill is. It was the perfect blend of stylish and cosy, with its dramatic industrial backdrop and modern touches that suited our tastes perfectly. It has every room you’d want for a wedding all in one location, and as we got married in February, having plenty of space indoors for guests was hugely beneficial. The quality of the mill is only matched by its incredible staff. Shannon (the wedding coordinator) was invaluable throughout the planning stages: she addressed every question we had leading up to the event, providing advice, reassurance, and support whenever we needed her. On the day, she was exceptional; we were told weddings were stressful, but thanks to Shannon we didn’t feel any of it. No matter when we needed her, or what we needed her for, Shannon was there to support us and we cannot thank her enough. The catering was also wonderful. They went above and beyond for all dietary requirements and made sure that every single guest had food which was delicious, beautiful, and memorable. We were so impressed with the quality and wish we could eat there each week. If you want a beautiful wedding, outstanding staff, and fantastic food, book your wedding at Haarlem Mill.

We got married at Haarlem Mill in August 2024. It was the fourth venue that we viewed and we knew as soon as we walked in that it was for us! The decor is a mixture of rustic and modern and the venue is already dressed to such a beautiful standard that very little extra decoration needed adding on our wedding day. All the added extras such as festoon lighting and foliage in the ceiling ladders are included in your the hire price (which is already super reasonable!) along with the so much more decor the team offer to you when setting up for your day. We were worried about picking a venue that would pressure us for decisions and need to be in constant contact & Haarlem Mill really is the opposite of that. Shannon is the friendliest and most knowledgeable wedding co ordinator who was able to offer us help advice whenever we needed it. She ensured the year planning our day was stress free, and organised a lovely evening where we could taste potential menu options. A separate ceremony room & reception room was important to us and Haarlem Mill offered us this along with a lovely bar area outdoor terrace which we were able to take advantage of on our day! There is an extensive list of food to choose from and the catering team are very flexible so let you pick from different menus, plus will try to accommodate any extras you wish to add into your menu. The food & drink on our day were both fabulous! Thank you to Shannon & the amazing team at Haarlem Mill for helping us plan our day, and also ensuring it ran smoothly! As soon as we walked in we knew that Haarlem was the perfect Venue for us. The building itself is beautiful and the layout works so well for a wedding held in one place. The bridal suite provides a perfect place for getting ready but also for a quiet place to gather yourself on the day. The food was incredible, the best food I have ever had at a wedding, and was so inclusive of everyone’s needs. Shannon was absolutely incredible from the start, always there to answer any questions and to make the process as smooth as possible . I can honestly say that I have had no stress from the day we booked the wedding up until the day itself. We got married in December 2024 and our day was so beyond magical. It exceeded anything either of us could have ever hoped for and we will forever grateful to the team at Haarlem for helping us achieve the day of our dreams.

A special thank-you to Nicky, couldn’t believe it when she called to say we had won the competition. We are at the early stages of planning our wedding but already feel well supported knowing Nicky is on the other end of the phone. Has been a massive help already to us. Our wedding is a while away but she has already made it feel so nice and easy for us so far. In answering our queries. No matter the time of day either. Bespoke Weddings have really helped us out, our wedding would have never have happened so soon without them and the competition. From the initial meeting with Maria she has been very supportive with our situation and helpful with us going ahead with the wedding in 6 months time which is very encouraging. We've never felt any pressure to go ahead with the competition or other options given but it's nice they support local companies. I would recommend anyone to apply to the competitions as it could save you a huge amount and get you married sooner than you ever expected and change your life!

I was absolutely floored when I got the call that we had won the first part of the contest! Honestly, it's made having a wedding much more feasible for myself and my partner. Even better than that has been Holly as our wedding planner - she's gone above and beyond to help us plan the day, and answer any questions we have (and we definitely have a lot!). Emily & Fran are amazing! By the time we got to confirming our choices for the styling and floristry I was struggling to make any decisions but Emily listened to everything and managed to somehow pull everything we had in our heads into a masterpiece. They were so patient and worked with us to make our day beautiful. Our venue even mentioned to us how amazing Sass Weddings are. Book Sass - you will not regret it!

We love nature and wanted a colourful, meadow-like vibe for our relaxed spring wedding. We also wanted stylists who could make the most of our lovely but relatively small venue. Finally, we wanted to be confident that our wedding day would look beautiful without having to stress about it or do anything ourselves. Sass absolutely nailed it on all three points. Working with them was a dream from start to finish. They were very flexible and creative, had a lot of options, and were easy to communicate and plan with. They created very effective moodboards so we could see that they fully understood what we were asking for. Their quote was detailed and fully broken down so we could see what every element cost. If we had wanted to do any of it ourselves, we could've easily adjusted the plan thanks to their honest and transparent approach. (However, we were so pleased with their vision that we just stepped back and let them do their thing.) We also got to visit their showroom and see multiple different styling options. They changed things before our eyes to suit our preferences, had example flowers and signage, mock table layouts, the whole shebang. They also met with us at the venue to plan things, and liaised with staff at the venue to make sure everything ran smoothly. We felt comfortable and confident throughout the whole process thanks to their careful approach. As for the big day itself - everything was absolutely perfect. Walking into the venue was like walking into a dream. The flowers were stunning, the decor was gorgeous. Everything was exactly as we wanted, better than we imagined. We received countless compliments from our guests. One guest, who is a professional event planner, was stunned to hear what we had spent on the flowers and styling, as she expected the cost to be higher. Our bridesmaids kept their bouquets while we took the rest of the flowers home - and despite driving over an hour in a very hot car, they lasted beautifully and adorned our home for a week afterwards, which was a lovely treat. Thank you Emily and Fran for making our day look like a fairytale!

Once you find Blackbrook House, you will never look back. After our first visit to Blackbrook House, and a few hours of relaxed wedding chat we were blown away by the staff and their warm and personal approach. We both felt so inspired and excited, it was an easy decision, this was definitely where we were going to get married! Blackbrook House is a gorgeous Victorian house surrounded by rolling green hills. What has especially impressed us is the homely and warm welcome we have received every time we have stepped through it's front doors. You can tell Lavinia and her staff genuinely care about what they do, maybe because it's a family business run by a dedicated and creative team. We also loved the fact that the house was ours for the day. Blackbrook House is such a stark contrast to many of the venues we visited previously. Throughout the planning stages there were no packages to deal with, everything was bespoke, we even had a meeting and a tasting session with their clever chef and what a treat that was! All of our crazy Danish traditions were welcomed and matched with creative and colourful ideas and lots of special Blackbrook details. Our wedding day was just unforgettable and perfect in every way! No words can ever be enough to thank Lavinina, Kenny, Faye and Jo. We have made some great friends and look forward to Lee's big birthday coming up, which will definitely be celebrated in style at Blackbrook!

Lavinia and her brilliant team at Blackbrook House will provide you with the most unique and intimate wedding experience possible. When it came to choosing our venue we didn't want any kind of out of the box experience, simply picking and choosing from different packages, be it food, drink or decor/theme. Being the food- and wine lovers we are, we wanted to be sure that none of our guests would be anything less than amazed. We also wanted advice and someone, who could take our ideas and transform them to perfection. Add to that, had we a house big enough, we would have loved to have a wedding at home - it was supposed to feel like our space on the day, and it did! Blackbrook House was the only venue that was prepared to take on this challenge and exceeded our expectations when delivering more than we could have ever wished for. The venue is warm, homely, welcoming and simply a lovely place to be. In the many meetings we had with Lavinia, she was always one step ahead of us in terms of how our ideas could work and be put into reality. The decor was simple and understated, yet stunning. Steve excelled at delivering a truly spectacular meal, which the whole wedding party loved sharing in and made the day both formal and comfortably casual at the same time. On your special day you need to feel certain, that everything will run smoothly and without haste. Kenny ensures exactly that. His team of servers are both omnipresent, yet nowhere to be seen. Finally - if anything should go not quite as planned on the day, the team behind will fix it! We could go on forever, but hopefully we have said enough!

Where to begin! Amanda really is one in a million. She helped plan our wedding and I don’t know what we would have done without her. Not only is she incredibly good at what she does and thinks of everything she is also a wonderful person. She’s calm, intuitive, supportive and thoughtful all whilst being amazingly efficient. From zoom calls to site visits to being on site days before the wedding, she goes above and beyond to make sure everything looks and runs as best as it can. Having Amanda was one of the best decisions we made - we couldn’t recommend her more and are so grateful for everything she did and helped us with.

We hired Amanda for our Wedding in May 2024 as a wedding coordinator, and by far was probably the best decision we made during our planning. We recently got married at Old Gore Barn in the cotswolds, and Amanda, our wedding stylist, was an absolute dream! I honestly can’t recommend her more if you are looking for a wedding stylist. She had a cool, calm, and collected vibe that made us feel at ease during the entire planning process, and we knew we could trust her entirely with brining our vision to life. What a beautiful and unique venue! We could not have asked for more for our wedding day. Everything was fantastic from all the support planning to the on the day support and pack down, it all ran incredibly smoothly. We were also so impressed with the onsite accommodation.
