Darren did a great job repairing our roof and fitted us in quite quickly as an emergency (when we had rain pouring through the ceiling because of a bodged repair by the previous owner). He responded to messages promptly and was very clear about what work needed to be done and the costs involved. The work was done a few months ago and we have had no issues with it since. I would definitely recommend him to friends.

Very fast response to the initial query regarding water ingress via the flashing. Venting the loft was advised and agreed. Work started within a few days and completed in a day. The team were knowledgeable and friendly. All waste was cleaned away. Highly recommended.

MAT came to look at the work, offered some good advice on what needed doing and submitted a competitive price. They also undertook to investigate some original errors in 1960s construction which have been a problem throughout the building's life. They arrived and programme and despite horrible weather, worked around the rainy days finishing in around a week. What more could you ask?

Very pleased with the roofing work done. My ridge tiles are now complete and look very professionally finished. Jake is a real craftsman and is passionate about his work. He is also aware of making things as easy as possible for the client; so in planning the scaffolding he ensured I (and neighbours) still had access to our shared driveway. Hayley in the office was also great, with good communication and fast responses to questions. A*** would highly recommend.

Fantastic company. I bought a house and the garage needed a total reroof. I got 4 companies round to quote for the work. Liam attended my property the day after I contacted him and got his quote across very promptly after that. The quote was considerably the cheapest quote. After accepting his quote, Liam thoroughly ran through the technical aspect of the job and the time frame involved on the project. Total Flat Roofing then turned up on the agreed date, completed the job within the time frame suggested and the installers were very considerate and polite to my wife who was at the property all the time whilst they were working. After completion, Liam then sent me across the guarantee as promised. I have dealt with a quite a few locally based construction companies in the past and I can’t think of many if any that were as easy to deal and as professional as Total Flat Roofing. Excellent service and brilliant workmanship, so professional. Jamie was friendly and so nice to talk to. English is not my first language but he patiently listened to me and gave me step by step explanations. What a relief. Jamie and his team sorted out my overgrown ivy, mended leak, and installed new soffit, fascia, gutter and leadwork. Beautifully done. After work, they even wiped my entrance door and garage door. I am so happy.

Jamie and Lee replaced our old flat roof. I'm very happy with the result. They kept to the times arranged and also kept us updated of the progress of the work as it is quite a big roof. It took them 3 days to finish the job and we also had our gutters and fascias cleaned which I wasn't expecting. Left the place spotless clean. I can definitely recommend them 🙂

Jamie turned up very quickly and gave me a price that I liked. I was (previously) very cautious of building contractors generally but Jamie put me at ease with his terrific inter-personal skills. He and his team rapidly completed all of the tasks - himself putting in a ‘Herculean’ effort. Would highly recommend Southern roofing. I peppered the team with various different questions before purchasing and they answered them all fantastically. I was told 12 working days for delivery and it arrived in 3 working days - amazing! and lastly a piece of cladding had damaged and the company organised a replace really quickly. Highly recommend!

My experience with Southern Roofing has been great - they are a decent, hardworking company who straighten out any issues immediately. We had a fair few broken tiles, as is normal, we waited to see if we had enough anyway and could use the broken ones however, we did end up being a few short. Tom at SR was concerned, empathic and interested, he responded immediately, rectified the issue when we needed him to and even sent a follow up email to make sure everything was OK. A credit to the company. Would use again and recommend every time.
