Came for a birthday meal, the food was lovely and very fairly priced. service was great for the most part, however it seemed as though one waiter, who we all thought was the owner/manger by the way he was acting, was acting above everyone else and almost bullying the lovely waiter who was serving us. It ruined the experience slightly for us all.

What to eat on a cold Monday in January? I decided to have curry from the newly opened Mint on Wrawby street. I opted to have a takeaway and chose the chicken tikka bhuna with pilau rice and garlic naan from a large menu, I ordered on line and collection time was about 30 minutes (they don't have a delivery service atm) I arrived a little early and was greeted by the new owner who welcomed me and we talked until my order arrived, I was very impressed with the new layout and will have to have meal there soon. When I got home I plated up the food and was very pleased with what I had ordered, hot and tasty and l didn't need anything else once I had finished it. I will definitely order from the Mint again and would recommend this restaurant.

3 of us had a delicious meal the other night. Food was plentiful, hot and well presented. Service excellent and staff very pleasant and attentive. Reasonably priced too! Will definitely go back again and recommend. Thank you.

First time ordering , meal came exactly at the time it was stated , piping hot and tasted very fresh , really lovely food and love the burger box keeps the burger unsquashed , my son also said the pizza is banging which is apparently good 😂

Burger Bite is definitely the best take away in Brigg, the gourmet burgers are unique to this shop and the pizza's which are made in a stone baked style are different to anything else in Brigg. I have added 2 photos of the pizza's my wife and I had last night. The first pizza is the chicken supreme, chicken,onions,jalapenos,olives and garlic. The second is my favourite called the Greek, olives,onions,fresh tomato,feta cheese and oregano, absolutely beautiful and I definitely recommend this shop.

First time trying burger bite, had this for a take out tea as was working late nearby. Opted for the meat feast calzone chips and garlic sauce. Great service, the food was really nice and possibly the best garlic sauce I've ever tasted. Will definitely be coming back in the future. The milkshakes look amazing too so will be having 1 next time. 😋😋

Fantastic place I visit often. Would Defo recommend as a HGV driver finding a good food spot with truck parking isn't always easy this place has it all.

Really friendly, and with lovely staff... I had a pretty damn good steak pie, chips & beans. The interior could be cosier, but hey it has that authentic 'transport cafe' feel, and it's 100% genuine. Next time, I'll try a full breakfast..👍🏻

Good little truck stop just off the m180 Can get busy so got a good reputation. £25 for night with food

Hubby and I stopped here this morning (Sunday) whilst out on motorbikes. The car park is plenty big enough for larger vehicles too and car/caravans wouldn’t have a problem pulling in either. We ordered an all day breakfast with black pudding, blueberry pancakes, two teas and two bottles of still water. The breakfast came out in good time and was hot and fresh! Delicious! The pancakes came out hot with plenty of blueberries and a good drizzle of syrup - perfect! The pot didn’t quite deliver two full mugs of tea but hot water top ups and extra milk were actively offered so we each had plenty :) The bill was £17.33 which we thought was very good value. They also have fantastic looking homemade Cornish pasties and a range of good looking cakes too! They also sell chocolate bars and cold drinks. It was busy whilst we were here but the staff are all very good, friendly and chatty but organised and efficient too! The kitchen looked clean and well organised which explains the fast turnaround of fresh hot food! Very happy with our visit today and have saved Barney’s Diner in Google favourites for next time we’re passing :)

I never write a review this quickly. In fact we are still at the table after our plates have been cleared. Incredible food. Truly home cooked. We had burgers and the chicken burger was massive. My partner and I are big eaters and we are fit to bursting! We have cakes to take away!! Beautiful food. Everything fresh, Everything delicious and the service impeccable. Anne was the most attentive host but all the servers were lovely. It's a credit to the area and so nice to have a good place to come to. You won't be disappointed. Faultless. Incredible value for money and highly recommended *****

A hidden little gem. Met up with a friend for lunch as its sort of half way for both of us to drive and meet . I had a combo platter, the other half had a burger and our friend had salmon salad. We were very impressed with the food, the way it was cooked, how much food was on the plates. Its definitely going to be our meet up spot from now on. The lady serving was friendly and polite, the pub clean and cosy and lots of outside space. It was quiet when we went on a Monday but I would imagine it gets quite busy on holidays and weekends.

Lovely service, drink prices are amazing, didn’t stay in the hotel but I can only imagine it being worth the price would recommend if looking for a cozy pub

Had a Christmas party here, food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Came here for a meal tonight with parents for their birthdays and couldn't say enough about how lovely everything was. Every staff member we spoke to was happy to help and the food was brilliant too. Decently priced and were even kind enough to go out of their way to give my parents a little birthday dessert too. Thank you! :)

Lovely evening out. The food was amazing, decor is stunning (especially the ladies toilets!) and the staff couldn’t be better. Clearly the staff are conscious of longish wait times for food but it’s totally worth the wait, can’t wait to go again.

We tried Lascito after having it recommended and we were glad we did, absolutely fantastic start to finish from the staff that greeted us to the food and atmosphere and very fairly priced too. We will definitely be going back

Great evening spent here. Service was excellent and the menu varied. Starters are to be recommended, particularly the pate and chutney with bread. Pizza was stunning. Intend to visit again.

Popped here for the very first time since the new owners took over. Don't normally like pizzas but opted for 2 different types with the hubby. What can I say.....piping hot and absolutely delicious 😋 Will be coming here again this next week, holding onto my 5 star re-review til then but really looking forward to coming back 😀

Such a great venue. The brunch menu is delicious, dishes are imaginative, beautifully presented and, importantly, they taste great. Staff very attentive and nothing is too much trouble. A real gem - lucky Brigg. Highly recommended.

We had lunch at the Atrium in The Angel at Brigg today. The cafe is in a lovely glass roofed courtyard, and there is outside seating when the weather is better! We chose turkey, bacon and avocado sandwich, and croque monsieur, both served with coleslaw and chips. Portions were generous and all our meals were delicious. We were disappointed to learn that the charcuterie board was not available - hopefully this will be rectified next time we visit.
