“I rang John after finding that our flat roof was falling apart. He came that afternoon to have a look, then sent me a quote that detailed prices in different circumstances, so we had an upper and lower bound for what the work would cost from the off which we really appreciated. John clearly cares about his work and delivering a good outcome for customers. We had scheduled the work for a day that turned out to be a pretty wet one so John rearranged with us ahead of time and explained the negative impact that the wet weather would have on the outcome for the roof. It was clear that he had our best interests in mind. Once work began, John worked over a couple of days to strip our flat roof and then fit a new one and was pleasant and friendly. At the end of each of the days he gave me an update of where things were at, and showed me the roof. At the end of it, the price we paid was the lowest end of the spectrum which we were honestly surprised at. We had budgeted for the upper value, I think because we have come to expect that's how things go. John sticks to what he says, though, and comes across as earnest and honest. Work comes with a ten year guarantee, too, which is great. Really pleased with the outcome and pleased too to have met John. Highly recommended.”
