Claire and the team at Kip McGrath are excellent. I attended Kip McGrath for 10 years from the ages of 8-18. Kip McGrath helped me with maths, English and science taking me from low achieving student to a high one. When I got diagnosed with dyslexia I was a university student studying medicine. I attended a cellfield course at Kip McGrath and this improved my reading skills immensely. I am now working as a Doctor and I couldn’t have done it without the team at Kip McGrath! Mrs Zoe was my English language teacher for 3 years .She helped me with my communication skills and she also helped me to write with more confidence, detail and accuracy. When we first started the tutor sessions with Nicola we weren't sure what to expect. Nicola far surpassed any expectations we had for a tutor. Nicola is a kind, dedicated, conscientious tutor. She brought my step-son from a place of thinking he can do nothing to he can achieve anything. With Nicola's hard work he passed his 11+ with flying colours. Any issues we ever ran into Nicola worked hard to resolve them and was very quick to respond if we needed anything. Nicola definitely goes above and beyond and clearly takes pride in her job it has been a pleasure to work with Nicola and I shall be using her again for the other children.

May Daughter has improved a lot since she started doing lessons with tutor doctor. She was struggling in both English and Maths but now she can read and write fluently every Fridays when they do test at School she always come home happy saying daddy l got everything thing right , and she has now 5 awards certificates that she gets from her teacher at school. I can highly recommend Tutor Doctor. The team have been working with my son who has SEN, to provide him with some education this past term, as he has not been able to attend school. His tutors have been understanding, and attuned to his needs. Not only have they been excellent in providing good quality tuition, they have done so with care, encouragement and compassion. His understanding in all subject areas has significantly improved. The tutors are reliable and friendly and will approach the sessions with flexibility, care and expertise.

Had a good experience with Isaac our personal tutor for son's GCSE maths retake. Son failed his maths but was able to resit again in Jan 2025. Isaac was brilliant, had private tutor for 1 hr pw. My son passed his maths with flying colours, well worth the money, could highly recommend Tutor Doctor.

My daughter started with some booster sessions throughout the summer then continued with weekly sessions with Nick. The sessions were tailored to my daughter’s individual learning, Nick made the sessions fun whilst learning, he is very patient and very good at explaining. I would highly recommend him. An excellent tutor.

Nick is such a great tutor he did some amazing work with my son and through some tricky times he tailored learning around his Minecraft passion and so learning became fun. I highly recommend to anyone that is looking to get their child some support or extra learning. I even learnt from the experience and gave me some ideas and resources to use at home to extend the learning.

It's been a long journey with my son who struggles with maths and hates it with a passion. We feel so lucky to have discovered John. He worked with our daughter offering weekly sessions over the course of a year. Over this period, our daughter changed from being worried about having chosen the wrong A levels, to growing into a confident and able mathematician. Initially our objective was to find out how our son was doing at A level maths. John gave us a realistic assessment, which didn't quite match our son's view of his level. John then gently proved to our son why his assessment was correct and, after a slight confidence dip, our son started to put extra effort to match John's strategy. This resulted in steady improved in not only his maths but physics as well. In the final run up to the exam's John was driving our son's revision and revision technique as well as mentoring the psychological side to ease the pressure and focus him on the objectives. Our son acheived four A's in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Computer Science which enabled him to get into a Maths and Computer Science dual honours university course. Our son would not have achieved these grades without John's help.

There’s not enough stars to rate John!! When I contacted John, my daughter was nearing the end of her first year of A levels. She was failing Maths and was completely and utterly lost at school. And all we wanted was for her to pass! The results were declared a couple of days ago- she got an A !! John is an excellent tutor all round and I cannot recommend him enough. Fantastic professional local company. From the initial enquiry to the tutoring the whole experience far exceeded my expectations. Ian visited us in our home, was clearly, passionate about tutoring/education, and was clearly invested in improving outcomes. Through his conversations with my daughter he built a understanding of her needs, allowing him to match her with the best tutor for her. My daughter was anxious about whether tutoring would work for her, but she really enjoyed her first session. The tutor was amazing, an oxford student, with recent and relevant, GCSE experience. Very good experience using this company. Ian was very quick to respond to my enquire and spent 20+ minutes on the phone with me, discussing my needs. Only a day later I was matched up with my tutor, a few days later I met up with my new maths tutor, Giovanni, who is friendly, a great teacher and very patient, for our first session. I Would recommend to anyone who either needs that bit more help with whichever subject, maybe to restore some confidence and someone needs guidance right from the start of their tutoring journey.

The background work that Ian put in prior to our first meeting was excellent and on his initial visit he was extremely professional and spent a lot of time with my daughter listening to her needs and found out what parts of her A level biology course she needed help with . Ian was non judgemental and took time to find out what was important to her with her learning style and matched her with a great tutor called Celia. She is one lesson down and even now, is starting to believe that she can turn her grades around because of this
