Our daughter has been having tutoring with Johanna for just over six months. When she started she felt really overwhelmed by her maths at school and believed that she just couldn't do it. The background work that Ian put in prior to our first meeting was excellent and on his initial visit he was extremely professional and spent a lot of time with my daughter listening to her needs and found out what parts of her A level biology course she needed help with . Ian was non judgemental and took time to find out what was important to her with her learning style and matched her with a great tutor called Celia. She is one lesson down and even now, is starting to believe that she can turn her grades around because of this

Tutor Doctor in Hull have provided multiple courses for my children over the last 2 years. Their remote learning sessions are very well structured with full session reports and a dedicated online platform including guided learning hour logs and a full history for audit and revision purposes. Nick is such a great tutor he did some amazing work with my son and through some tricky times he tailored learning around his Minecraft passion and so learning became fun. Nick has provided teaching lessons for my daughter for over 5 years. My daughter is now 10. David has been tutoring my daughter for the last year or so .He has a fantastic ability to relate to children and makes the tutoring fun whilst providing a level of challenge based on the child’s ability.I have seen a huge improvement and progress in my daughter’s learning but also in her confidence- David’s passion for Physics and Maths is infectious. Although my daughter wasn’t necessarily struggling or behind in her learning, considering how little time teachers have to spend with individual pupils I was concerned that she may not fulfil her potential and at some point may struggle or be disengaged .They only have one education, and I want to give my daughter the best support that I can. I couldn’t have found better than David to do this. Don’t hesitate, it is a worthwhile investment in your child’s future !

It has been really useful. Even though we chose to have biology and chemistry tutoring then we have been able to have different subjects prior to exams. My only comment is that it would be better if the tutors were in different classrooms as I would find it difficult to concentrate with so many children being taught different subjects in the same room . I’m not sure about the idea of extra homework for them. If it iis going to be set then it shouldn’t take too long for them to complete

David and his team have been amazing. My daughter had been told she was working to a 4 in maths and was predicted a 7, we were very confused. With the support of David, she was delighted to get a 6.
