I would like to say a HUGE thank you to Katie for helping my daughter in Maths. Lily is in year 11 and preparing for her GCSEs. She has only been going to MagiKats since September and has already gone up a grade in school. She really enjoys going to her sessions, never grumbles about it and does the homework set without any problems, even though she has so much school homework on top. Katie has helped Lily's confidence in Maths and because of her teaching method, Lily understands certain areas now that she didn't before. Lily was nervous about being in a small group, only because she had no confidence in Maths, but after a few sessions she was much more comfortable. I would 100% recommend Katie and MagiKats to any one needing that extra bit of help, with added kindness, encouragement and support Katie gives.

Magikats lincoln have been amazing the past few weeks my little boy has been with them, he sometimes struggles to go places without his mum or dad but after the first session he loved it and wanted to come back every week. They have helped with his English and maths massively to give him a good head start for school in September. I would highly recommend these guys to help with your child's maths and English needs wether it be a focus on a particular part of the subject or the subject as a whole.

Katie in Magikats has been a Godsend. I was searching for a female tutor to help my daughter and on first meeting Katie, we knew she was the right one for the job. She is helping my daughter with her GCSE’s and since she has started, my daughter’s grades have gone up and her confidence in work too. I genuinely believe had we not have started with Magikats, my daughter’s results wouldn’t be as successful as what they are aiming to be now. One to one tuition with Katie is well recommended.

David has been tutoring my daughter for the last year or so .He has a fantastic ability to relate to children and makes the tutoring fun whilst providing a level of challenge based on the child’s ability.I have seen a huge improvement and progress in my daughter’s learning but also in her confidence- David’s passion for Physics and Maths is infectious. Although my daughter wasn’t necessarily struggling or behind in her learning, considering how little time teachers have to spend with individual pupils I was concerned that she may not fulfil her potential and at some point may struggle or be disengaged .They only have one education, and I want to give my daughter the best support that I can. I couldn’t have found better than David to do this. Don’t hesitate, it is a worthwhile investment in your child’s future !

David and his team have been amazing. My daughter had been told she was working to a 4 in maths and was predicted a 7, we were very confused. With the support of David, she was delighted to get a 6. I’ve been studying with Alexandra for around 9 months. We have been studying arpeggios, scales and the repertoire to build and improve my technique. A really worthwhile endeavour I’d recommend Alexandra and her school of music to anyone wants to learn and enjoy the violin.

After sharing on Facebook that I needed a Math tutor Angies name came up more than once. We needed someone to help as lockdown had knocked the confidence out of our boy. Angie has been fantastic with him, not only has she given him his confidence back with his Math, she also gained his trust. We didn't realise he was struggling with anxiety he hid it well, but Angie saw it and helped him giving him tools to deal with it. She then contacted us to so we were aware also, for this I will be forever grateful. I have no doubt that he will come out with a great result, all down to Angies teaching. My daughter Grace started having weekly sessions with Angie in her final year of GCSE's. The progress and confidence gained was invaluable, which resulted in her going from a predicated Grade 3 to achieving a fantastic Grade 5, the highest she could gain on the lower tier paper. Angie has been amazing for my son , he really struggled to motivate himself through lock down and home learning, this resulting in low gradeS and a loss of interest in maths . After a couple of sessions with Angie we saw his motivation , confidence and his love of maths return this time resulting in significantly improved assessment results . I would highly recommend Angie and her communication is excellent .

Excellent weekly tuition initially securing basic skills and moving on to higher level maths. Engaging lessons where our son gained the confidence to risk take and believe that he could succeed with strategies clearly explained and modelled. Angie has high expectations and a nurturing manner that even through lockdown had our son eager to participate in his lessons. Homework set after each lesson was pitched well to either consolidate or deepen learning. Weekly progress reports were sent to ensure that we knew exactly what he had been working on and keep us thoroughly updated on his progress and next steps. All 3 of my children have attended Kip McGrath at some point over the last 14 years. Clare has helped my 2 eldest kids tremendously with their reading & brought them up to a high standard. My youngest child he attended for 11 plus training recently. The staff went above & beyond with the parts he struggled with. I cannot thank the staff enough for their patience & professionalism & without KIP all 3 of my children wouldn't have achieved the results at school that they got. Claire and the team at Kip McGrath are excellent. I attended Kip McGrath for 10 years from the ages of 8-18. Kip McGrath helped me with maths, English and science taking me from low achieving student to a high one. When I got diagnosed with dyslexia I was a university student studying medicine. I attended a cellfield course at Kip McGrath and this improved my reading skills immensely. I am now working as a Doctor and I couldn’t have done it without the team at Kip McGrath! Can highly recommend David. He’s been tutoring my daughter for her GCSE maths. She finds the one on one sessions extremely helpful and gets an awful lot from them. So much so that she’s been moved up a set at school and is on track for achieving good GCSE results

I booked for my son English lessons at Kip McGrath. He had difficulty to concentrate so his result was always below standard but over the year with Kip McGrath his it increased rapidly and he pass SAT exam with 107 point which met the expected standard. I was amazed! I booked and my daughter too. Kip McGrath @Harrogate had a wonderful staff, they always will update you with kids progress, and they very kind and flexible if child is sick and can’t attend they will offer move the lesson to next available time which is very helpful and you don’t need to lose a payment.
