We can highly recommend the professional team from Kestrel Pest Management. During the process of renovating an old cottage we discovered many, many years (50 years +) of old loft insulation together with very old pest remains and vermin action, which needed to be cleared and cleaned. Mick from Kestrel visited the property and provided a concise and thorough inspection before sending a quote, he then kept us up to date with the process of delivery and how the timing would work. During the actual clearance, which took place over several days, the team worked very hard in a clean and professional manner. This was quite a large job and at all times they informed us of the process in a polite and knowledgeable manner. If you need to have a loft cleared, or any advice of pest control, clearance or similar, these are the guys to go to. Great service and thanks very much.

Contacted Mick of Kestrel Pest Management for a loft clearance of Rat contaminated loft insulation. Mick carried out a site visit first and gave me a spot estimate of cost. He also gave me a verbal and emailed plan for the operation, and kept me updated on his expected arrival. He arrived on the agreed date and time, and commenced protecting the carpets and landing area with dust protection sheets at the property. After removal and bagging all of the old loft insulation, he carried out cleaning and disinfection of the loft area. The insulation was then replaced with new, to the correct government recommended depth. All of the loft debris was then removed promptly, by a certified waste contractor from the premises. I personally cannot thank Mick and Connor enough, as they also cleaned out lots of remnant builders lath plaster, that had been under the old loft insulation for years. Both guys worked very hard, and carried out a first-class job. I would recommend this company 100%. I have had my fingers burnt by substandard contractor’s work on numerous occasions in the past. These guys have renewed my faith in humanity, that there are great company’s out there, hence the five-star review. These guys don’t only talk the talk, they walk the walk! Highly recommend. Simon came out and assessed the damage in my loft caused by the infestation of birds. He was very polite & professional and explained what needed to be done. We arranged a date for the works to be carried out, Simon arrived on time and did an amazing job removing all the debris and leaving everywhere clean and tidy.

Simon was absolutely brilliant! We (unfortunately) needed his help with a rodent problem under our kitchen units. We called Simon who promptly arrived to investigate. His calm, professional manner along with his knowledge and expertise soon had the area surveyed and a plan of action put in place. From first enquiry to sign off, tornado have been amazing and easy to deal with. We had Moles on our cricket field. Tried to get rid of them ourselves over a couple of months to no avail. Got Tornado recommended to us, so gave them a ring, Donna came out a few days later and set 2 traps, explained where and how to look for the best place to put the traps. And within 4 days had caught 2 moles, Great work 👏 👏

He had to come back and spray it again due to the awkwardness of the nest placement but he was happy to and the problem is now gone and I can open my windows again. We had a large wasp nest in our outside kitchen. Dean responded to my call promptly and visited the following day. He sprayed the nest and advised me that within 2 - 4 hours the activity of the wasps would have calmed down and that within 24 -48 hours the nest would be dead. Exactly as he described there were only a few wasps to be seen within 4 hours and there is no longer any activity. Brilliant service and lovely person to deal with.

Superb Company- Having made contact with the office - Damien (Pest Controller) was on site that afternoon as promised. “Suffering” - from a sudden rat infestation in my garage- he explained what was needed in a very professional manner and with his knowledge and experience - orchestrated a way to clear the area. I was delighted that literally within days - there was no longer any sign of rats - and since his initial visit - none have returned. I should also add that following his first visit - Damien returned on two later occasions simply to check on the area - without my request for him to do so. I thought I had a wasps nest so called PESTCOTEK last night around 7.30pm. Andy said he would be with me the next morning to have a look and give me a quote. He was true to his word and very quickly identified that my 'wasps' were in fact honey bees and explained very knowledgeably that the swarm I had witnessed was the worker bees protecting the vulnerable queen bee as she relocated. Who knew? 🙂 He said that the stragglers should disperse in the next few days but if I had any problems to call him. Andy responded to carry out an assessment of the area of concern. His expertise identified the issues straight away allowing the swift treatment. His relaxed nature and ability to effectively communicate what was going on a why, how to deal with issue, and prevent a recurrence was excellent and reassuring.
