Amazing! My 7yr old could not read or write, hated school, was angry and frustrated. Kip McGrath was suggested to me and I thought il give it ago. My daughters joined Lesley-Ann and Trisha for approximately a year. Lesley-Ann assessed them when they initially started and worked out which areas they needed the extra help. Each session was well thought out and catered to my childrens individual needs. We also recieved feedback after every session, keeping us in the loop with what they were learning and how well they did. Compared to when they first started to now, they have improved drastically and we have recieved nothing but high praise from school, with my eldest achieving high SATS results. We cant Thank Lesley-Ann and Trisha enough for all the time and effort they have put into our children. They are such lovely ladies and we would highly recommend Kip McGraph Ossett.

On the surface, Kip tutoring may seem expensive, but I believe it is well worth the money - my daughter's English and Maths have improved greatly after tutoring. As a result of a 80 minute session (not 60 mins), my daughter received quality learning and feedback. The learning was tailored, flexible, and parental input was always welcomed. Each lesson was followed up with written feedback. I think Lesley-Ann is a real find, a true gem - my daughter enjoyed her lessons very much.

My daughters time here has come to an end after a year (I think 😅) ❤ Lesley has been such a great positive tutor and has helped my daughter more than she could ever know. My daughter lacked confidence due to having time off from COVID and quite quickly fell behind in school which then affected her time at school. Maths was her dreaded subject but now she is so confident and has turned into a times table genius 🤣 After many school reports, stating my daughter was behind and needed work... for the first time ever, her end of year report stated, 'age related' for her maths which proves hard work and extra lessons does pay off. I signed my daughters up for extra tuition at Lextra a few months ago. Although I haven't seen great improvement in their academics yet, I deeply appreciate the engagement and support the staff have provided far. There's constant monitoring and genuine interest in students so I'm optimistic that the learning and progress will be reflected by the 6th month. Amazing tutoring service! Unlike many I’ve tried before, their ethos and actions align. There’s always someone available to talk to and reply to you when you have any issues. Teachers are very knowledgeable in their subjects and have many years of experience, not only in their subjects but how GCSEs are marked and what’s needed for the child to understand the exams set up. My daughters have taken maths, science and English with Lextra, they are happy with how they are being taught. They have parent meetings and are involved throughout your journey with them, ultimately they care for your child education and well being. My son joined the Lextra family mid October 2022 with his last school result in Grade 6. There was so much hardwork, dedication, commitment from the tutors of Lextra and my son. I’ve been coming here for more than 5 years and Rachel is just amazing. Her lessons are very good and interactive as she makes sure each student reaches the best they can achieve and she is always there to support you personally. The other tutors are good too as they got really good grades in their GCSEs and A Levels- so Rachel makes sure her students get the most out of her service.

Today was my son’s GCSE results day and I was surprised at such amazing results. school prepares you for a grade 5 whereas Excel Academics pushes you to get a grade 9. My son improved by 4 grades in English literature by working with Rachel to overcome his weaknesses and also improved by 2 grades in maths. They are always available to help students and regularly monitor their progress while also informing parents of any strengths and weaknesses of their child. My daughter has been attending Kip Mcgrath for a few years now. She started off very weak in English and covid had set alot of children back in their learning, my daughter being one of them. She came to the center in year 3 and couldn't read or write confidently. She was working on phonetically sounding out words when she first came. She is now in year 5 going on yr 6 has since grown very confident in English with support from her tutor at kip. Her anxieties in learning are now overcome with high self esteem and enjoys coming to the center to work on improving even more. She has seen Lee (her tutor) as a friend she enjoys talking to. My Y11 daughter needed grade 6 English to access the A Levels she wanted, but she had lost her way with English during the pandemic, and had been really struggling. She started at Kip McGrath and had 6 months of tutoring with Sue. Not only did she get the results she needed, but she also rediscovered her confidence, rediscovered her love of English, and has now even enrolled to study A Level English. My son has been attending Kip McGrath since April 2024, he has improved loads and really enjoys more so than he does school. During the first assessment an issue with how my son processes words was picked up, and so we had an appointment with an ophthalmologist was made and he now has to wear coloured lenses. I started going to Beyond Horizons Tuition in year 4 and now after receiving my GCSE results I am extremely impressed with the support i received throughout my time there. The small classroom size allowed for the teachers to individually support each student with their own needs therefore allowing me to achieve great results in my SATs and later down the line helping me achieve a 9 in maths and a 9-9 in science. Also, my English grade jumped from a 4 in November to a 7 thanks to their unique teaching method which allows the students to consistently improve. Al-Bashir Academy is an amazing tuition centre which I would definitely recommend them to others. The tutor help me to revise for my GCSEs showing me new and different ways to revise. Also the lessons are enjoyable and I got a lot of work done in these lessons.
