Fiona is patient, kind and brilliant at explaining maths to all age groups. She helped both my daughters and lots of my friends' children too. Fiona knows her maths and I would recommend her without hesitation.

We wanted additional coaching for W so that he didn't get any surprises for a school entry assessment for Year 3. Amanda had researched the curriculum for his age thoroughly and had planned her sessions to cover all the key areas that W might be presented with. W really engaged with Amanda as she coaxed him gently into the session asking questions about his week and then applying a relevant point to the subject matter she wanted to cover. She gauged his attention span well, switching topics and momentum when he was beginning to tire of a particular area. I would definitely recommend Amanda again.

Enrolling your child in Kumon is an excellent way to create discipline and interest in reading and maths. My child was in a different Kumon center prior to us moving to this location, and we have to say its been a fantastic experience here. We are new to the UK. My daughter never learned English. After she joined Kumon she start to say words and now it's been 6month, now she is talking to people with confidence(still need to improve). Even her teacher at her school said she improved so fast. Thanks to Kumon in Guildford, we had very nice experiences with it and all staff are very nice and teacher are so patient. My daughter has recently started Primary Tuition with Linear Learning as she is working towards sitting her 11+ for an Academic Scholarship at her school. Her tutor is friendly, relatable and makes the sessions really enjoyable. Not only this she has great knowledge of both the National Curriculum and Independent School tests.
