Anna has helped my daughter with both her Maths and English GCSEs. She has given my daughter the confidence boost she needed to tackle both exams. My daughter didn’t complain about the tutoring sessions whereas she had in the past! A testament to Anna and how well she connected with her. Cate is an excellent teacher for adults: patient, unpatronising, lively and witty. I have been having Spanish lessons with her for a few months and have made remarkable progress considering I started from scratch. The material she provides and way we are progressing is just right for an adult learner who comes at the learning in fits and bursts. As well as being erudite and a born linguist, Cate has a talent for meeting your needs with understanding and teaching pragmatic day-to-day constructions rather than school-book language. I'd wholeheartedly recommend her if you are an adult wishing to pick up or polish your French or Spanish. We also laugh a lot!

My son came to Adolf having to resit his Maths GCSE in order to progress to the next stage in his learning journey. Adolf is truly an amazing maths tutor. His cool, calm and gentle manner has really helped my sons mathematical competence. He explains each topic clearly until it is fully understood and then retests them at a later date, making sure the information has definitely sunk in. This is backed up with homework and revision . My son has now reached the grades he wishes to achieve and is full of confidence with a subject he once found difficult. We are very happy with the tutor service Adolf has provided to my son and daughter. My son is currently preparing to take GCSEs and since having Adolf he has improved by nearly 2 grades in his mock exams. This has motivated my son to want to improve further and achievea higher grade. We have noticed both our children feel more confident in their maths ability. Can’t thank Sumit and Aarzoo enough for the help and support they gave my son in preparation for his GCSEs last year, which undoubtedly helped him achieve a whole two grades above his expected grade in his final exams for Maths. Aarzoo helped him to understand the more tricky areas in a relatable way he could understand and therefore gave him the confidence when sitting his exams.
