I’ve just moved to a new house and am very keen to get stuck in with my garden, but was a bit overwhelmed with ideas and not sure what would be best for my space. I had a really useful 90 minute consultation with Alison and now have a much clearer idea of what I’m aiming for. She gave me great recommendations for plants, trees and materials that would work in the space with my limited budget. Thank you Alison!

Alison has done a great job for us. We moved in to a new home with a expanse of grass from fence to fence and being non-gardeners didn't have a clue what to do. On her first visit we gave Alison a long list of things we like or things we've seen in country gardens and expected she would use a couple of the suggestions, but no, she managed to incorporate every single one! Over the following 12 months Alison has been there to advise on layout, choosing and sourcing the plants and helping with the planting, with the end result being a spectacular garden. In fact, her imaginative layout is almost like having three different gardens depending on where you are sitting.

We used Take Root garden design’s “design in a day service” as our small garden required redesigning after a small extension had been built. Alison’s ideas were a perfect way to transform a large wall and some concrete bases we had struggled to integrate into the garden. Alison design included raised beds, integral seating patio and utility areas, with complementary planting ideas. The design is recently complete using a landscaping company recommended by Alison that I would also highly recommend. The garden is now another room in our home as it has been designed to be viewed from both downstairs rooms. This is the most pleasing aspect it definitely meets the saying of “bringing the outside in”. The colours of the bricks, paving and planting Alison design blends and complements our indoor room, very clever indeed, seeing is believing. If you want a garden which works for you and saves you costly mistakes I would highly recommend Take Root garden design. It is great value for money, with a design Alison produces which works, I would highly recommend this service.

We asked Alison to help us re-design an area of our long established garden. She was meticulous in her measuring and note taking. A few weeks later we received her idea for our new patio/pergola. We were very excited to see what she had envisioned for us and we were not disappointed. Unfortunately due to ill health we have not been able to bring her vision to reality but hopefully sometime in the near future it will happen. Thank you Alison.

Having moved into a new-build property, it took us several changes of mind to decide on a landscaping plan, and throughout all of the uncertainty we had very patient, positive responses and suggestions from Laura and Jack before settling on the final design and quote. When the work started we were impressed with the quality and precision of the emerging raised beds and patio. Despite the harsh weather, Jack and Josh turned up cheerfully every day in snow and rain, making great progress when we would've given up! We were left with a tidy garden, pathways and drive when the job was completed, and we are so pleased with the results that we are already planning the planting and maybe some further landscaping. If we ever make our minds up then it will be Lazy Days we call upon to help is again, thoroughly recommended!

What an amazing team! 🤗 Laura was great with ideas and suggestions for my garden transformation, very friendly, knowledgeable and informative. Jack is very personable and kept me informed with every step, he’s a patient guy and no amount of questions from me was too many! He and Josh are extremely hard working, respectful of property and clearly care about the environment. The work is 100% professional using quality materials. After every day, my path was swept and everything was tidy, I really couldn’t recommend this small business enough! Having an extra large garden, no time to maintain it the way I would like and a disabled child (who loves to be outside) we needed to freshen things up. Cue lazy days, Laura was full of useful ideas which were carefully planned out while Jack and Josh expertly brought them to fruition. This was a long process due to the amount of work involved and to make matters worse we have a very long sweeping driveway, which made removal of waste & delivery’s difficult as they could not gain access, so everything had to be taken to and from the gated entrance. Nothing was too much trouble for Jack and Josh, collections/deliveries were all planned out as to not leave us without access to the property, everything was swept and cleaned at the end of each day. Josh constantly put in a hard shift & Jack is obviously very knowledgeable and skilled at his job but his attention to detail was second to none. They are all very hard working and provide a high end result. We now have a fantastic & safe outdoor area. I can’t thank Laura, Jack & Josh enough. I would not hesitate to recommend Lazy Days for any gardening needs.

Highly Recommended! We can't thank Marek and team enough for the fantastic job they have done. Having lost our decking/fencing over the winter Marek has completed a total renovation of our deck and fences and given us a secure garden we can finally enjoy again. The entire team take real care and diligence over their work and the end result is absolutely stunning! We were consulted every step of the way and Marek took meticulous care to ensure everything was carried out perfectly, advising us of the best solutions when choices arose and making sure the end result suited our needs perfectly. Before chose Ano landscaping, i invited six different garden landscaping businesses to design and quote on transforming our garden & we chose Ano landscaping due the professional design that Marek produced, along with being super impressed with his professionalism and quote. Marek’s team worked exceptionally hard whilst working on our garden and they were very friendly and accommodating to our tweaks to the design as the work commenced. What a fantastic team Marek has. We needed some decking taken out and replacing with flagstones. Marek had come highly recommended for a friend whose garden they had done almost from scratch. 3 quotes but Marek was the only one to discuss the damp proof course and water drainage. He was the only one to give a fully laid out written quote. The team worked tirelessly on our garden for a week. They were clean efficient and stickers for detail, but always consulted before carrying out the work. We just can’t recommend Marek and the team highly enough. Other alleged Landscaping Companies would do well to take a leaf out of Ano Landscaping's book and provide their quality of work at their prices! Many thanks Marek & team

The workmanship is outstanding. Everyone was so helpful and the lads made a fantastic job of the entire project including dealing with a land drainage issue going back over 20 years to when the house was first built! A nicer, more professional bunch of people you couldn’t hope to meet. Highly recommended. Would go even further - don’t pick anyone else.

Ben, Andrew and the 2 Matts were an absolute pleasure to work with. They provided a very friendly and welcoming service to someone with little to no knowledge of landscaping processes. Ours was a small but messy and unkempt garden and it has been transformed by the work Landscape Creations have done. Ben was really flexible offering suggestions of how to reduce the initial quote costs to bring it to within our budget. And Matt x 2 and Andrew were happy to be flexible and make minor adjustments as the project progressed. Mel and his team laid astro turf in my garden and the service from start to finish was amazing. They explained everything clearly so I understood what they would need to do and how the look after it once they had finished. They dug up the old garden and replaced it with the astro and all the bits in between. The finished job looks awesome. So happy with it. Thank you Transition Landscaping. Our garden was badly in need of a makeover. A sloping and uneven lawn, overgrown shrubs, ugly fencing, lack of privacy and impractical patio were some of issues we wanted to address. At our first meeting with Shaun and Callum they took time to really understand our issues and what we wanted to achieve. Unsurprisingly, the design they produced delivered almost exactly what we were looking for and we had no hesitation in engaging them to carry out the work. Sadly, Shaun passed away before the work started and apart from being very upset at his loss we were concerned about the impact this would have on the project. However, Callum calmly reassured us that he and Kieran (his assistant) would be able to complete the work. We decided to go ahead and in just over a month they removed overgrown shrubs, scraped the existing lawn, levelled the ground and laid a new lawn, built a block retaining wall and a raised border edged with sleepers. They also built steps and a sleeper wall and relaid a gravel path. They also moved shrubs around and planted the borders with new trees and shrubs to provide privacy and colour throughout the seasons. During the build we found them to be hardworking, reliable, collaborative, imaginative and personable. They also demostrated their flexibility by allowing our builder to lay our new patio before they had finished their part of the project. We are delighted with our new garden and highly recommend Callum and Kieran for similar garden projects.

Callum and Kieran delivered exactly what we were wanting in our garden remodel. Both worked with us to come up with practical and aesthetic ideas for our previously rundown garden. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and we’ve never dealt with more polite young men. As well as keeping us informed at every stage of the process, they were always keen to ask how each element of the garden would best suit our needs, whilst remaining realistic in what would both look and work best for our space. 10/10 would recommend to anyone and we couldn’t be happier with our new garden, just in time for Summer!

Shaun worked on a large garden project for us and we couldn’t be happier with the results. The project included a large dig-out, building new sleeper walls, installing decking, laying a porcelain tile patio, building new steps and a path, prepping and laying artificial grass, moving a garden shed, planting and much more. We had a blank canvas to start with and a strong idea of what we wanted to achieve. We were not only looking for a cost effective way to get the job done but also looking someone we could work through our ideas with to create a space that was sleek, modern and great for entertaining. We shopped around and got quotes from several landscapers. Shaun’s quote was the best value and his costs were transparent - he kindly itemised the costs for me as well so I knew it wasn’t just a figure pulled out of thin air like some garden quotes can be. Cost aside, what we really liked about Shaun after first meeting him was his upfront, honest and passionate approach to his work which you can see straight away. Shaun was fantastic to work with from day one. He kept us informed every step of the way and his daily updates meant we were always comfortable and reassured with each stage of the work. He understood our brief and was focused on making sure every detail was to our liking. Shaun clearly isn’t just a landscaper and has a real passion for gardens. His knowledge and experience in garden design and planting was especially helpful in helping us decide on a whole range of details during our project. You can tell that Shaun really believes in the importance of outdoor spaces and we had numerous conversations during the project about layout, storage, heating options, materials, lighting, planting, the list goes on! Shaun isn’t the type to rush through things so he can move onto the next job - His willingness and energy to push to make our space the best it could be was there right upto the final day of work. The finished garden is everything we hoped for and more. It’s a complete transformation of the space that has wowed and shocked our family and friends! It’s hard to explain or convey with photos the feel of the completed space. It has a balance and a continuity of materials, textures and themes that give it a real sense of atmosphere and mood - particularly at dusk. It’s a place that we always want to spend time in and feel very lucky to call our own. Thank you Shaun for all your hard work.
