I love Parkers in Flixton. It's not far from where I live, and it's a great place to visit each time I need supplies or just a browse with a brew in-between. The car park has plenty of room with an overflow area. There is disabled parking available close to the store. Good space and access for disabled persons inside and out. Trolleys are always available and easy to use, and no wonky wheels make your trip difficult. The shelves inside are always well stocked and labelled accordingly, so you're not hunting a staff member or buying blind. Great offers in store and online, sign up instantly in-store if you haven't got a card to take advantage of the offers. The staff at Flixton are all very lovely and happy to help. Garden plant knowledge of staff is always top notch, the gentleman who wears a flat cap and works a lot outside is a fountain of knowledge. He helped me to choose a plant recently to suit my garden area and it has flourished accordingly. There is a fantastic lady with blonde hair who serves customers a lot on till who is always so kind to me as I'm very slow due to illness. The young man with a pony tail and beanie hat is also fabulous (I am pretty sure he is the Son of the blonde lady as i heard him shout "Mum" once, but it could be a nickname to be fair). This young man has the patience of a saint and manners to make any parent super proud. I love being served by him. The cafe is really lovely, a great friendly team. Offers in the cafe are great value, with different offers at different times of the day and week. The food is always wonderful and freshly cooked. My most recent cooked breakfast was delicious. There is a good-sized outdoor seating area attached to the cafe. Smokers are allowed out here to my knowledge, but do check first in case I have this wrong! Instore has a wide range of garden needs and wants, from seeds, bulbs, feeds, furniture, pots, planters, supports, tools, animal bird feeders, bird food, garden decoration, garden clocks, indoor houseplants and paraphernalia. Outside has a vast choice of plants to take your fancy with good value prices, from seasonal plants, annuals, perennial, alpines, pond plants, roses, shrubs, trees and bushes. The plants are well looked after and watered accordingly. I particularly like the offers of 4 for £9 or 3 for £12 (I think this is correct). They have already begun the overhaul for Christmas. It could well be done as I type, and it's spectacular, so special to go and see, walking round the store is a real treat. You can look out for special events advertised. If you haven't visited yet, you really should.
