Before starting treatment at Glendair, I suffered from a range of dental-associated phobias that prevented me in the past from having much needed treatment. However, it wasn’t long after my original consultation that I gained both the confidence and mental capability to engage in the required procedures due to the friendly, comforting staff - especially Cate! She has been absolutely fantastic and I feel extremely grateful to call her my dentist. I couldn’t recommend this place enough - thanks to them I have finally resolved oral issues that were affecting my quality of life!

My first visit today to Glendair (first of MANY). After 10 years of not visiting a dentist due to extreme fear, I plucked up the courage to make the appointment. So glad I did. The receptionists are lovely and the waiting room is comfy and spacious with a very welcome TV for distraction. I expected that dreaded ‘dental surgery smell’ but it wasn’t there! Matt, Jo & Ruth were so patient and kind and absolutely non judgmental. Faced with a gibbering wreck, they were calm and completely reassuring. I’m right at the start of my oral health journey but absolutely committed to getting this treatment completed, then be a religious 6-monther. Thank you all for your kindness. I’m totally petrified of the dentist… meeting Matt lamb, Jo his assistant and the rest of the team has been the best thing ever. Matt is the most caring and calming dentist, he’s got me through a lot.. he is willing to spend time with you to calm you .. by far the best ever . Can’t thank them enough… still a long way to go but thank you for everything you have done for me so far. The team here are incredible! Really patient and understanding with nervous patients, ontop of this they are brilliant with my daughter whilst I'm having my appointment. Cannot recommend them enough 🙏🏽

Quick and efficient service, with one replacement filling, from the newish dentist based on the ground floor can't remember her name but it begins with M. Our last 2 visits have been with her and both of us are highly satisfied. So 5 stars and hopefully she will still be there on our next check up.

My experience was consistently excellent from the moment you walk through the door to the moment you walk out. I cannot recommend Glendair enough, above and beyond to help me. I feel totally at ease and comfortable with the treatment and care I receive. I would rather pay (and it is cheaper than you think) to have such excellent treatment than rushed, un-empathetic, poorly informed treatment from the nhs provision, which I don’t knock but I don’t feel goes nearly as far. I could kick myself for not going over to Glendair sooner, they are brilliant

Always an excellent job by George and lovely friendly atmosphere from all staff. Never anything but a stress free visit. I recommended Glendair (and George) to my sister who has always had an intense phobia and gag reflex and he has worked nothing short of a miracle. She now has no fear and wears a wonderful smile to prove it. He never fails to enquire of me how she is either. Such great care.

The best practice around. Ive been a patient for many years at White Peak and they never fail to disappoint. My dentist Sue Watson is exceptional and so through when treating me. Carly the hygienist is equally as through and makes you feel very relaxed, as going to the dentists is not my favourite place. The reception team are welcoming when you arrive and are always very helpful. Debbie, who is not normally on reception today is very knowledgeable and passionate about her job and very complementary about the practice. I would highly recommend White peak to anyone looking for a practice.

It must be about 20 years ago since I first became a patient at White Peak Dental Practice, and I’ve had consistently excellent treatment, all of which has been done in a sensitive and professional manner. Those of us who are nervous of some of the necessary procedures are accommodated with due account taken of whatever our particular needs may be, and the treatments and options available are explained carefully and patiently. Particular thanks to Sue, Sophie and Carla who work hard to make each visit as comfortable and pleasant as possible 😀

Having hunted high and low for an NHS dentist after having lived abroad since my retirement I am pleased to have found Totley Rise dental practice. Registering was easy, I was seen quickly and all the staff have been very kind and friendly. They are just brilliant. I have undergone fairly extensive treatment with Ella who was both patient and understanding about the concerns I had. Treatment options were discussed in detail and subsequent treatments have been thorough and pain free courtesy of a couple of injections. I can now smile again without feeling self conscious. 10/10 for Invisalign treatment! At 49 years old I can now say that I am truly happy with the way my teeth look! All thanks to the truly brilliant treatment, support and advice from Simone and her team. I’m really impressed at their dedication to achieving the right result and felt well informed and consulted throughout. It was a bit strange at first but I soon got used to it and now just need to practice smiling (with teeth) for photos. Simone really listened to my concerns about a potential relapse and suggested the perfect solution to ensure my investment isn’t wasted with a fixed retainer which I’m very happy with. One of the things that really made life easier was the communication from the reception team and Jane in particular should get a big shout out for her super friendly, proactive approach. As a busy working mum I can be asked to change plans at quite short notice and Jane completely understood and made booking appointments so easy with instant confirmations which really helped me squeeze this treatment in and just do a little something for myself! Keep up the great work. Should I really post this or keep this gem of a dentist a secret? 🤫

I had another successful visit to this superb dentist last week. Always such a lovely experience in a modern and clean practice that’s buzzing with a professional clinical team. A really pleasant experience from start to finish from a very cheerful and helpful Jane on reception, the friendly dental assistants and onto Simona, my brilliant dentist. All in all a really first class dental practice and highly recommended.

I am so grateful for you seeing me! Thank you! As you can probably tell, in the past, a visit to the dentist has been 'unpleasant'. You have an amazing team down there. You should be very proud! (Back to original post-) This was my second visit to Totley Rise and I can honestly say I have never been so at ease when visiting a dentist before. Everyone is so friendly that you are immediately put at ease. The receptionist was very welcoming as was the dental nurse. It was the first time that I'd met Lily, my new dentist but was really impressed by the fact that she had already read my (complicated) notes and was prepared for me. I would happily recommend her to anyone. She was polite and professional and absolutely charming! She put me completely at ease and listened to everything I said. Thank you. Parking is easy and directly outside the practice. Opening hours differ but the practice opens at 8.30 everyday, opens late till 7.00 on a Monday and 6.00 on Tuesday and Wednesdays. I'm not sure if the building lends itself to being wheelchair friendly but it wouldn't surprise me if they had a plan in place for wheelchairs - maybe round the back. All in all, a very well deserved 5 stars.

I cannot rate this place highly enough, from the receptionists right through to the dentist and nurses. Everything possible is done to make you feel at ease . I have just had an old filling replaced and can honestly say i didn't experience a moments discomfort. I've been a patient at this practice for over thirty years and it's always been outstanding with excellent patient care. Yesterday I had an extraction. Everything was explained clearly in advance. I was kept continually informed about progress during the extraction and given clear instructions for aftercare. An extraction is. never nice,, but it was done professionally and with care. A follow up appointment was made immediately for a month's time. As ever, a great service.

I visited Giles at Aspire Dental early September after years of not visiting a dentist. It’s safe to say they are not my favourite of places but it was time I started taking care of my teeth. Giles was very calm but more importantly was informative right from day one. He explained everything in detail, was firm but fair with me and didn’t make me feel humiliated in any way. My plan has been broken down into manageable chunks and every visit since (I’m now on my third, fourth coming up!) my experience has been great. I’m kicking myself for not visiting sooner and that is something that I thought I would never say. Would highly recommend the practice and Giles to anyone.

I have been at Flint & Flint for over 10 years and have always seen Justine as she has seen me since being a paediatric. She’s been absolutely fantastic and was particularly brilliant when we had been told at my previous NHS practice that I wouldn’t qualify for a brace on the NHS. Justine and Flint & Flint got me referred and sorted in no time and it is one of the best things I’ve ever had done. Justine has a wonderful patient rapport and always makes it a joy visiting, always having a lovely chat about family/work whilst carrying out the appointment. I could never recommend Flint & Flint enough. Any issues I’ve had over the years have been remedied quickly and to the highest standard. The practice is a true credit to the trade.

The staff at Flint and Flint are always professional and friendly putting you at ease before any work is carried out and I have to give a special mension to Brendon I’m a nervous patient with complex issues with my teeth and gums who dreads going to the dentist, but Brendon is very good at putting you at ease and has helped me immensely get a bit of confidence back I have no hesitation in recommending them. Beaufort Dental Health Centre in Burton on Trent is the best Dental Practice I have ever had, and before becoming a patient there, I have had quite a few, during my lifetime! This Practice is everything a patient could possibly ask for!

I have been coming to Beaufort for years now but since having my son they have been even more perfect! Visited for a Polish and scrape today when my son was particularly grumpy, staff sat with him and cuddled him while I was getting the treatment and also gave me a few extra minutes to sooth him in between. It was a small gesture but meant a great deal!
