In the past I have had some traumatic experiences with dentists so I first went to Cavendish as they were welcoming nervous patients, throughout all my treatment everyone at the practice has been great. This last visit was for an appointment with Nicola who immediately puts me at ease and is friendly and informative. This time she was supported by Dave who is an absolute star and very efficient. Always a friendly greeting in reception when you arrive. Great service would highly recommend.

I was a nervous patient, but Megan was great at reassuring me and making me feel confident. Initially she came up with a plan of treatment, and talked me through each step and why it was needed. At each consultation she explained what she would be doing and how she would do each thing. I never felt anything other than a little discomfort, there was no pain. I am grateful for the care she took and feel thankful to be able to access such professional care. This is a truly exceptional practice, and I hope they will be around for many years so that I can continue to get such great care !

I visit Matt with my two girls and they love coming to the dentist, they trust Matt and his dental nurse completely. We needed a referral and it all went through really quickly. The reception team are always welcoming.

My experience with Taptonville Dentist has always been really positive. The reception staff are friendly and efficient. I never have to wait long for the dentist when in the waiting room. My dentist Anna is fantastic, kind, caring and really skilled. I feel very lucky to have such a great dentist and dental practice.

Great service as always! Anna takes the time to explain the options available and agree the best course of action. During the treatment she explains what she is doing and is always happy to allow you to take a break if necessary.

Our dentist, Greg, is absolutely brilliant. We book a family appointment and have recently taken our 2 year old for his third visit. He's so patient and kind with him, helping our son to form a healthy association with the dentist. So happy we got a place at this practice.

My dentist is one I've seen a few times before and they are very professional. They actually asked me what I wanted out of the session, which was very helpful. For example, I said I didn't want fillings done and why, just a check for any decay etc as it is a long time since I attended the surgery. This was respected. They did two Xrays to check for decay which I found impressive for a routine checkup. However, I can’t give 5 stars as I had to ask for the chair to be raised to a suitable height for me to initially get onto it as I am elderly with moderate mobility problems, particularly getting down onto low seating. But in general this is an excellent dental practice.

It might seem odd, but I really enjoy going to the Hurlfield Dentist. They are very prompt at keeping to appointment times, and they never hurry to deal with you in a completely professional and caring way once you're in the chair. As to treatment, they are extremely good at explaining the options. The receptionists too are always polite and helpful. I can't wait to go back!

For someone like me, who hates going to the dentist, this was a very good experience. The staff on reception are helpful and welcoming. The dentist and his assistant were caring, considerate and efficient. Overall I had a good experience and came away calm and happy.

Had my first dentist appointment in many years, I was nervous about going but all the staff are amazingly friendly, my dentist Dr Mehboob and dental nurse Lily were kind and professional. Gave me all the information on how to improve my oral hygiene without judgement on poor lifestyle choices and explained what was happening and what the plan going forward was and ensured I understood before I made any decisions. I've been a patient at this practice for over thirty years and it's always been outstanding with excellent patient care. Yesterday I had an extraction. Everything was explained clearly in advance. I was kept continually informed about progress during the extraction and given clear instructions for aftercare. An extraction is. never nice,, but it was done professionally and with care. A follow up appointment was made immediately for a month's time. As ever, a great service.

I had a very happy appointment at Bamford Dental Practise where Katie, Danielle and all the team were friendly, caring, professional and efficient. The x-rays and scale/polish were the best I've ever had. Katie was thorough and reassuring at all times. All staff members were polite, helpful and answered all of my questions. I was late for my appointment but I was still seen. All staff were thorough but welcoming and kind. The receptionist checked details and made sure all was on order. The dentist made sure I was comfortable throughout the check up and explained what she was doing. Excellent advice given on dental care in relation to my health issues. A great visit to One80 Dental today. I saw Samantha the Hygienist, who was fantastic. She immediately put me at ease and was so gentle. Dare I say it was (almost) a ‘relaxing’ experience! So much better than I have had elsewhere in the past. My teeth feel amazing and I will now not put off future visits to the dentist! A big thank you also to the lovely dental nurse, I think her name was Eran(?) Look forward to seeing you again soon.

I came to see the periodontist, with some apprehension. He was v capable, but then he left and I was moved on to a wonderful woman who explained everything. She made a master plan, explained why, and seems to know what she is doing. She doesn't hurt!!!! It's not cheap, but feels worthwhile, and my teeth look great. Shout out to Lyndsey too, who always says Hello, has the patience of a saint and is kind. Nothing is too much trouble.

I have been a patient of David Murphy for approximately 25 years & travel a fair distance for my appointments with him; this in itself speaks volumes. He explains every procedure, answers any questions I may have & puts me completely at ease which is no mean feat. Everyone I have met at 180 Dental has been extremely pleasant & professional so I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this practice to anyone.

10/10 for Invisalign treatment! At 49 years old I can now say that I am truly happy with the way my teeth look! All thanks to the truly brilliant treatment, support and advice from Simone and her team. I’m really impressed at their dedication to achieving the right result and felt well informed and consulted throughout. It was a bit strange at first but I soon got used to it and now just need to practice smiling (with teeth) for photos. Simone really listened to my concerns about a potential relapse and suggested the perfect solution to ensure my investment isn’t wasted with a fixed retainer which I’m very happy with. One of the things that really made life easier was the communication from the reception team and Jane in particular should get a big shout out for her super friendly, proactive approach. As a busy working mum I can be asked to change plans at quite short notice and Jane completely understood and made booking appointments so easy with instant confirmations which really helped me squeeze this treatment in and just do a little something for myself! Keep up the great work. Should I really post this or keep this gem of a dentist a secret? 🤫

I am so grateful for you seeing me! Thank you! As you can probably tell, in the past, a visit to the dentist has been 'unpleasant'. You have an amazing team down there. You should be very proud! (Back to original post-) This was my second visit to Totley Rise and I can honestly say I have never been so at ease when visiting a dentist before. Everyone is so friendly that you are immediately put at ease. The receptionist was very welcoming as was the dental nurse. It was the first time that I'd met Lily, my new dentist but was really impressed by the fact that she had already read my (complicated) notes and was prepared for me. I would happily recommend her to anyone. She was polite and professional and absolutely charming! She put me completely at ease and listened to everything I said. Thank you. Parking is easy and directly outside the practice. Opening hours differ but the practice opens at 8.30 everyday, opens late till 7.00 on a Monday and 6.00 on Tuesday and Wednesdays. I'm not sure if the building lends itself to being wheelchair friendly but it wouldn't surprise me if they had a plan in place for wheelchairs - maybe round the back. All in all, a very well deserved 5 stars.

Monica is the best dentist I have ever been to! She's really competent and her expertise inspires confidence and trust in me as a patient. She is also extremely caring and always tends to my pain and concerns. I have been recovering from a traumatic experience with another dentist and the way she works healed something in me. I had another successful visit to this superb dentist last week. Always such a lovely experience in a modern and clean practice that’s buzzing with a professional clinical team. A really pleasant experience from start to finish from a very cheerful and helpful Jane on reception, the friendly dental assistants and onto Simona, my brilliant dentist. All in all a really first class dental practice and highly recommended.

Following a referral from my own dentist back in 2021 for restorative treatment, this dental practice has changed my life. I cannot praise the whole team enough. In particular a shout out to Mike Ainsworth, the implantologist. He has the most calm composure and is the ultimate professional and perfectionist. He made me feel relaxed and reassured me every step of the way during my treatment. I now have the best smile! Thank you so much. The nursing team are to be commended too as they are so friendly and show empathy throughout. Also walking through the doors you are welcomed by the most friendliest reception and admin team. They greet you with a smile and help you to feel comfortable, and they have the best waiting room!! To top it they have a brilliant radio to listen to, this adds to the fabulous decor!! I came , with imtrepdation, for root canal treatment and saw Marian who clearly explained what she would do and answered all of my questions. I cannot ever remember any visit to a dentist being so pain free! The treatment was amazing , l didn't even feel the anesthetic needle, Marian is a true professional and l only wish she could be my regular dentist, l had no pain throughout the proceedure and no soreness afterwards. All dentist visits should be this way. I highly recommend Marian and all associated staff who made the visit such a good experience.

Having been referred from my regular dentist regarding placement of implants, i was very nervous & essentially scared about the extensive work that needed to be carried out. I have always had a fear of dentist trips & worked myself up to the verge of panic attacks before every visit! Upon my fist visit to Stephen Godfrey Dental Care, i was greeted by the lovely reception team, who were amazing both on the phone & in person. I was referred to imlpantologist Mike Ainsworth in regards to implants & giving me the smile that i have wanted for years! Upon first meeting of Mike, he could see how nervous/scared i was & took this into account. He explained everything to me step by step & with so much patience! The equipment that they have is unbelievable & top of the range. There was a slight hiccup part way through my journey as i had managed to lose my current denture whilst on holiday, therefore knocking my confidence & didn't want to leave the house. I called the practice & they immediately moved my implant placement appointment forward & Mike moved some work around to get me an appointment the next day! I am honestly gob smacked by the level of service & care provided by everybody in this practice! My treatment isn't finished yet but i know that Mike is a perfectionist & i am in the best hands possible. The nursing team also deserve a huge shout out! I have had a couple of nurses over my visits (apologies i cannot remember their names), & they have both been absolutely incredible, friendly & so so reassuring. At one point she held my hand whilst the initial injections were done. Would also like to give a mention to the hygienist, Emma. She is very calm & patient & informative of the whole process. She has given me knowledge that i never had before & helped me with advice on how to better look after my teeth. The practice is very welcoming, clean & tidy. Very, very well equipped for any job required. A very relaxing waiting room that is kept very tidy & a comfy sofa/chairs to accommodate whilst you wait. I'm not even a quarter of the way through my journey but i no longer work myself up to a panic attack before my appointment & am so much more comfortable attending my appointments! I honestly cannot thank everybody enough!! If you want a friendly, non judgmental practice for your works to be carried out, i highly 100% recommend the whole team at Stephen Godfrey Dental Care!!

Before starting treatment at Glendair, I suffered from a range of dental-associated phobias that prevented me in the past from having much needed treatment. However, it wasn’t long after my original consultation that I gained both the confidence and mental capability to engage in the required procedures due to the friendly, comforting staff - especially Cate! She has been absolutely fantastic and I feel extremely grateful to call her my dentist. I couldn’t recommend this place enough - thanks to them I have finally resolved oral issues that were affecting my quality of life!

My first visit today to Glendair (first of MANY). After 10 years of not visiting a dentist due to extreme fear, I plucked up the courage to make the appointment. So glad I did. The receptionists are lovely and the waiting room is comfy and spacious with a very welcome TV for distraction. I expected that dreaded ‘dental surgery smell’ but it wasn’t there! Matt, Jo & Ruth were so patient and kind and absolutely non judgmental. Faced with a gibbering wreck, they were calm and completely reassuring. I’m right at the start of my oral health journey but absolutely committed to getting this treatment completed, then be a religious 6-monther. Thank you all for your kindness.
