We needed our drawers re-done in our wardrobes. It was a very bespoke project as we didn't need something built from scratch, but within an already built structure. It was wonderful working with Solid Carpentry, and the final product was beautiful! Dmitriy was attentive to all the special adjustments we wanted for our drawers and patient if we changed our minds on some details. Solid Carpentry used high-quality materials and did a great paint job. We love our drawers!!

We have a difficult to make use of small boiler room in our flat. In need of more storage space we got in touch with Solid Carpentry. They did such an excellent job from start to finish. We can now finally store all of our luggage and random things and the room actually feels bigger now. Well done on getting the shelves fitted in such small awkward spaces. Solid Carpentry designed and installed a custom, built-in bookcase with a hidden door for me. We are immensely grateful to Bobby, our carpenter, who created a stunning wooden frame for our display fridge at our cake shop. From start to finish, Bobby has been patient, knowledgeable, and understanding, always willing to go the extra mile. Among the many contractors we’ve worked with during our shop fitting, Bobby truly stood out with his professionalism, passion, and personality. Despite our modest budget, Bobby never hesitated to answer our endless emails, make multiple site visits to ensure accuracy, and work with us every step of the way before any deposit was even paid. He even drove two hours to our fridge manufacturer to take precise measurements, invited us to his studio to view wood stains and beadings, and produced a final result that exceeded all expectations. On the day of installation, Bobby arrived fully prepared, working diligently through the day to craft the frame exactly as envisioned. He even cleaned up afterwards with a heavy commercial vacuum cleaner that he brought. For anyone looking for an honest, detail-oriented and skilled carpenter, please trust all these reviews you are reading. Bobby is a true craftsman, and his work is second to none. Bobby did an amazing Job spray painting our existing kitchen doors fitting new carcasses and making new matching kitchen doors where necessary and more. It’s like having a brand new kitchen for a fraction of the cost. I don’t write many reviews but he deserves a good review. He is also one of the few people that I was comfortable to leave alone in my house.

I had Bobby from London Carpentry solutions help me with a number of bespoke furniture items with the latest being a multifunction desk. Bobby was fantastic from helping me resolve a design detail but also help me rationalise the design to achieve my budget. Once the details were agreed Bobby stuck to the agreed installation date, arriving exactly on time and I never got the impression he was in a rush to be somewhere else. The quality of the work went above and beyond my hopes (hopefully my armature photographs do his work justice) and his care and consideration was second to none. For these reasons I have no hesitation providing a recommendation.

Excellent service. Fadi was very professional, polite, helpful and quick to respond. He came and quoted for the work and then kindly fit the work in between other jobs, working into the evening to accommodate my schedule, which was much appreciated. The work/repairs he did in my flat were done to a great standard and he cleaned up when he was finished. He was also very well priced. Would 100% recommend. Thanks Fadi!

Incredible service. Fadi did an amazing job and at such short notice, he came and hung up our mirror, fixed our toilet seat and toilet bidet spray so quickly and with great quality. I highly recommend their services and will definitely be using again for future repairs!

I have just had the long-needed work done on my sash windows in my Victorian property. Two of the windows are originals, therefore I was somewhat reluctant in having the work done in case I was told they were to be replaced. I met both Russell and Matthew, the founding brothers, prior to the work being done and both came across as very honest and down to earth. They recommended that two windows were replaced and the rest refurbished. Morgan Thomas was given the work because its quote was the most competitive and had a very practical approach and factored in my concerns about costs. The work started on schedule and my property/furniture was covered and protected with dust sheets. Every afternoon before the workmen left, they swept or vacuumed. The men, Mickey, Angelo and Andrew, were very professional, respectful and polite –a pleasure to have around. All jobs have their hiccups and this was no exception. In my opinion, whether I use a company again or recommend it depends partly on its ability to deal with any issues that may arise. My issues were dealt with immediately and effectively. One thing that came around was that all the staff, painters, carpenters and Matthew were concerned that I, the client, was happy. I was so happy with the work Morgan Thomas did on refurbishing my sash windows, that I have used them again to paint my front portico. Not only were the workmen very professional,but I found Geraldine, in the office, most helpful, practical and well organised.

We chose Morgan Thomas, based on excellent Trust Pilot reviews, to do a variety of woodworking jobs for us in our duplex apartment in Marylebone which included replacing 8 sash windows, replacing a made to measure roof terrace door, fitting new wardrobes in two bedrooms, redesigning a third bedroom with a high level built-in bed with surrounding cupboards and redesigning a laundry cupboard. Every job was done to the highest possible standard by craftsmen who were an absolute pleasure to have in your home. They are a credit to their trade and provide excellent value to boot. From start to finish our experience with Fire Door London Ltd was excellent. We needed a new fire door made to measure and fitted, the quote was competitive and Jake was great to deal with, patiently putting up with all our questions and requests. All of the staff, in fact, were professional and very pleasant. The door was fitted without any issues on the day and the carpenter even cleaned up. We are very happy with the result and would highly recommend.

This was the 3rd project we did with Adrian and Co. This was a bespoke TV unit and wall shelves - and we couldn't be more satisfied with the final delivery. Adrian was always available to come around and bounce some ideas back and forth; and even creating real life mock ups - all to make sure we were getting what we were looking for. We will definitely continue working with the Borkwood team! July 2024 update: One more project with Adrian and the team. Again extremely happy with the results! Wardrobe, and a desk + drawers/bench, with shelves added. Super easy to work with: allow for discussion and exchange of ideas, mock ups, and reviews until the design is just right. This is the second time we have worked with Adrian and team, and we couldn’t recommend them more. They created 2 sets of alcove wardrobes for us this time and they are absolutely perfect.
