Just booked mine in to get handbrake looked at as wasn't the best. They found it to be a sticky brake caliper and they cleaned and lubed and tested it stating it may need a new caliper if it gets weak again or it will be fine now it has been freed up and just asked me to keep an eye on it. I imagine they could have said it needed all sorts but they didn't and just did enough at minimum cost to sort it. It is now so much better and it cost next to nothing. Will be using as my local garage from now on with both my vehicles. Thanks guys. Sept 2024. my car broke down on way to work, Honda Civic 2005. Went with a bang and absolutely no power to wheels. Called Steve Byram Garage and asked if I could recover my car there for diagnosis and repair. Not a problem but was told it would depend on what caused issues and business of garage in general as to how long I would have to wait. I was happy with this as I know garages are busy in general. I was also keen to return to this garage after previous positive experience. Well this one was even better. Julian called me that afternoon telling me the car was ready. It was a drive shaft broken in half and they had obtained one and managed to fit it the same day. Can't thank them enough. Unbelievable service, the car is perfect and the cost was surprisingly reasonable for what was a pretty big job. Picked it up from Paul who showed me the part they'd replaced which was totally sheared in half. Thanks once again.

Brilliant garage, I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. Completely trustworthy, knowledgeable, and tell you it straight. I had some problems with my car during a difficult time and they couldn't have been more kinder. I really can't recommend this garage highly enough.

Just simply the best garage I have ever used. Always helpful, honest and go above and beyond. I only use them and now my husband and mum only go there with their cars!

100% trust worthy garage. We have zero car knowledge in our family which can leave you feeling vulnerable to being ripped off when it comes to car maintenance etc - Steve Byrams garage has been brilliant with all our cars and kids cars. Sometimes with very little charge and never tries to oversell unnecessary repairs. We couldn’t recommend this garage enough.
