After a disastrous experience at a previous garage, we were so lucky to find this place. My son's much loved but elderly sports car needed a lot of work doing to it but is now back in tip top condition again. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for an honest, reliable and friendly garage at a reasonable price.

Our car broke down Friday morning. Knowing we were going on holiday on Sunday they kindly fitted us in, working til 8pm. We are very grateful!

Following a rescue by the AA I parked my car in front of Victoria Garage’s gate in the hope they could fix it. Despite being super busy and dealing with staff illness they managed to fit me in and fixed my car in less than a day! They charged me a very decent price and did an excellent job.

Tylers have been maintaining our cars for the last 15 years and I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone else looking for a quality service at a fair price. Their attention to detail for annual maintenance is superior to that offered by most larger garages but where they really have an edge is in problem resolution and here their experience shows. There has been a number of occasions now where they have correctly identified complex issues and provided the most economical fix. The most positive feedback I can give is that I make a habit of shopping around for all goods and services but for car maintenance and repairs in the last 15 years I have never felt the need.

After taking to a garage elsewhere (that did a shocking job), I visited Harpenden Mill. My car was instantly diagnosed, a price was quickly established, the mechanics were in regular contact and had my car back on the road really quickly. On top of this both the mechanics I dealt with were top blokes, and even rang a couple of weeks later to see how the car was doing. The car now drives exactly as it did when I bought it five years ago and I’m chuffed to bits.

Such a friendly and helpful garage. Recently had our MOT done here and they were super quick and communication was great. Just now they helped me out due to my engine coolant warning symbol having turned on during my morning journey. In my panic, with a crying newborn in the car, I just turned up at 8am and they welcomed me in and topped me up and didn't let me pay them when I tried. A massive help given I didn't really know what I was doing and didn't own any coolant but needed to use the car/get home!! Definitely recommend!!!
