Surprisingly good. One of those 'under the railway arches' places, down a slightly grim side road, all very low key. I just had a MOT, it was quick, efficient, detailed report and really fairly priced, no sense of them trying to get some money out of you. Place is very small, no customer services that I could see, no frills and no messing about. The guy I spoke to was the mechanic, no polite chitchat, just matter of fact effective. I'll definitely be back.

I decided to give this place a try as I wasn't happy with my previous garage and I'm so happy I did. They managed to turnaround an MOT and a service on my car within a day, even when I dropped it off late morning. Communication was quick, efficient and friendly. When I collected the car I saw that it had been cleaned inside and out – like to an incredibly standard. It was in better condition than when I bought it and they did a better job than most valeting services I’ve used. Another thing to note is how trustworthy they are. I’ve had some issues with garages in the past as loose parking charge often goes missing. I just didn’t have the time to empty out my loose change this morning when I dropped the car off and it’s always a gamble with new places whether you can trust them. However, when I picked up the car – all the change was still in the car. This is a brilliant, honest and quick MOT garage and I couldn’t recommend them more. Unbelievably impressed and will be coming back next year. Thank you so much again!

My car had an engine fault and broke down on Sunday. I decided to try my luck and contacted a garage. Tony responded quickly, even though the garage was closed on Sunday. He advised me to drop the car off at Highview Garage, and he would take a look at it on Monday. I expected the repair to take a long time and cost a lot. To my surprise, Tony called me this morning (Tuesday) and told me the car was ready and fully fixed. The bill was much lower than I expected! Fantastic! Firstly the Vale MOT Centre only do MOT testing so they don't carry out repair work - or look for "service and repairs" like some garages. I've used them on and off for a number of years and I can't fault them. Easy to book your MOT and they've got 30 minute slots all day Monday to Friday. It's also in a nice pleasant bit of Golders Green, NW11, not some back alley or scruffy Railway Arch. I highly recommend this Business

I took mine and my mums car here for an MOT as the vale came highly recommended by a friend that had used them for years. I can honestly say although both cars failed. They said to have the failed parts replaced and to come back for a re test which we did after a week. The cars were thoroughly checked over and the mechanics were happy to sign off both cars for the year. All the staff were very friendly and I couldn't recommend a better MOT place. Keep up the great work and see you all in a years time.

I've just being to Car City and Josef was so friendly. But more importantly without fuss he and his colleague refitted the front bumper on the passengers side of my S class, which I'd manage to pull off due to driving onto a high curb. He also repaired a scuff mark on the rear bumper with great professionalism and ease, all done in less than an 45 min even do I just appeared on his forecourt without notice. The price he charged for the work was exceedingly reasonably, I couldn't have be more pleased, such a relief to find a mechanic that is honest hard working and professional, a real credit to his profession, thank you again Josef 👏
