Following my MOT at a garage close to my work place i was informed new brake pads and discs were required. James was recommended to me by a work colleague and he provided a quote for the proposed works . I booked in my car for the works and received a phone call from James stating I had still 40% ware left in both pads and discs thus no need to replace. After getting a £620 quote from Halfords (Finchley) to fix a noise/fault on the wheel of my smart car - they wanted to replace the caliper, brake disc, brake pad, realign 4 wheels and then extra for brake grease - I decided to get a second opinion from a local garage. Decided to choose J&J Autos based off reviews. James (I think it was James!) said no problem, drop the car off the next morning and he will take a look. I drop the car off and after an hour he rings me back, turns out all that was needed was to give everything a very thorough clean - charged me a very reasonable rate for a check + 1-2hours of work and drove the car away the same morning. Would recommend.

Just had a full service and MOT. This garage appeared to have resolved an ongoing engine management light issue which 2 other garages weren't able to solve (and in the process I had spent about £1000 trying to fix). Very transparent with price. Very helpful, and if there are any tasks which fall outside of the scope of the garage, they give good advice on where to get the required service. As a result I learnt how to deal with various car issues which I didn't know previously. Will use again.
