The Best Cafes in Ripley, Surrey, United Kingdom (2025)

If you are passing through Ripley and need a coffee then this is a great, quirky little stop. Visited yesterday and it was lovely sitting outside in the scorching heat. Obviously covid restrictions in place but they are pretty good here. Coffee came in takeaway cup. Not sure if that is normal or because of covid. I wish they wouldn’t though. It’s more disposable waste we don’t need. Coffee was good though, cakes looked fab and if you’re lucky you might bump into someone worth seeing.

We were passing through heading to Guildford and stopped off here for refreshments. It was a lovely little find, a mixture of a cafe and a shop. Has indoor and outdoor seating, if you get bored you can rummage through the fantastic display of products on offer. I love places like this it provides something different and appeals to all tastes.

I was made very welcome today, caught in a rain storm, sanctuary found in this lovely tea room. Best ever carrot cake, great coffee, great service. All the way from york , love to go back.

Really enjoyed our lunch today with amazing flavours, textures and seasonality on our plate. Pleasant service. Take away goods from the salad bar also very tasty ( quiche & scotch eggs) Look forward visiting during a dinner service too. 👌🏼

We went for the first today 5 Jan 2025, recommend by a friend who lives in Ripley. She advised us to book and she was right! It’s a while since we’ve had a full-on Sunday lunch so it was a bit of a treat. One person had the roast beef, another the lamb, and I had salmon. All good with portions of Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, roast vegetables, brussel sprout mash, and sensational cauliflower cheese, plus gravy. A tasty zero beer called ‘Little Swine’ from Hogs Back Brewery which deserves wider distribution. Followed by bread and butter pudding and chocolate fondant both with ice cream. And coffees and tea. We added a generous tip for the attentive and friendly service. All up £50 a head which is good value. Didn’t have time to shop but a glance round says they’ve got delicious deli.

Went for breakfast for my husband’s birthday. Lovely place, friendly service and excellent food. We had a scrambled egg and bacon and a full English - both delicious and as good as we’ve had anywhere. All the ingredients were of the best quality and well cooked. Delicious coffee. The decor is tasteful and for a Tuesday morning it had a nice buzz about the place. We will be back!

We love going to Cafe Beirut, whether we're swinging by for a coffee and some baklawa, or dinner in for date night. We'd highly recommend the chicken shawarma wrap for lunch and mixed grill for dinner, but otherwise the whole menu is wonderful and served with smiling faces by the owners, a lovely family trio!

An excellent restaurant—I recommend booking a table for Friday evening. Delicious cuisine and a very pleasant and friendly staff.

Fabulous place for lunch, dinner or even a snack. The best Baklava in town - they even sorted a dome of it for our wedding! A truly wonderful family-run restaurant. We will be back to visit again soon!
