Nice café close to the River. It's surrounded by just enough history to blank out the atrocious 80/90's onwards blocks of flats that ruin the Thames Path. Excellent pastries, great coffee, friendly service, we sat in the old churchyard next door and chatted away. The Watchhouse had a guard to stop resurrectionists stealing bodies for dissection at Guy's medical school. You don't get that sort of history at Starbucks!
Lovely little cafe with plenty of cakes and pastries. A few savoury options too. Coffee was nice.. we had an iced latte and an espresso. Single espresso was way too watery for my taste but the latte was quite nice. There is a nice and really quiet back garden, perfect to unwind and chill surrounded by nature.. prices are really modest and the lady at the counter was lovely too..
