Warm drinks? Why? Ordered cod a chips and whilst is was lovely and the cod a decent size, there was a severe lack of chips. In fact the portion was so small I decided to count them. There were 28. Yes 28 chips which was supposedly a full portion? When moved to one side of the box it wasn't even half full. Portions with the scampi and sausages were ample. Why not with the cod? It's been a while since we've used them but it seems like portion sizes have shrunk considerably. Or was I just unlucky today? I've changed my star rating as I've had contact and they will reimburse my next order but feel I still can't quite give 5 because of the warm drinks. I feel this is a driver issue or maybe they aren't in a fridge?
We had a leaflet through recently and decided to try it. We hadn't had fish and chips in probably 10 years... It was actually really good, light cripsy batter, crispy, not oily or greasy chips. The curry sauce was delicious. Very impressed, will be ordering again.
Good food and affordable price. 4 starts because small bacon amount in English breakfast (just 1 pieces). I paid for a extra bacon but in the plate was just 2 pieces.
