Such a lovely local gem with great food and service. I came with family who were visiting and had a really lovely meal. The food was excellent and staff so accommodating. I am dairy free currently and there are lots of great options for that too. I returned again today to celebrate a friend's birthday. I mentioned in my booking that it was for a birthday and that there would be children coming. They had not only set up a lovely high chair but also put up a banner and balloon for the birthday which was such a lovely touch, we weren't expecting anything really at all. My friend was so happy. Again lovely food ordered on app which is easy to use and great staff. nice atmosphere, you can tell there's a lot of regulars in there too. Highly recommend a visit. Roasts were excellent on a Sunday too. Thank you to everyone there who were really kind and went above and beyond. Ideal for kids.
We have been coming to the pub the last month after hearing good things from friends of ours. On all occasions we have received a warm welcome in a comfortable setting . We have joined in the pub quiz the last three weeks (which is an excellent night out )and had food the last two visits , both times this has been very good . The staff are helpful, happy and I’m really glad we have found a new local.
