Lunch today at Hilltop was an outstanding experience - made even more pleasurable by the irrepressible manager Daren. A traditional English Sunday lunch served in comfortable, spacious - in places quirky - interconnecting dining rooms with attentive and personable staff keeping the buzzing guests fed and watered (or wined). Wonderful venue! The host and staff were very friendly and the service was great. The food was delicious with a great choice of courses too. Nothing was too much trouble and my special requests were met without any fuss which made our evening an extra special one! Would highly recommend and will definitely return.

Visited yesterday for Sunday lunch with my nan, she used to attend the reggae nights on a Friday back in the day. Darren was beyond attentive and really made my nan feel special, talking about the old days with her, gave her a tour of the venue, a bowl of the coleslaw she used to eat there and a lovely flower from the gardens as we left.
