Best coffee in the area, and super nice staff who actually take time for you.

Absolutely love this café! It’s such a cute spot, perfect cozy environment, food is delicious. The staff are so friendly, my daughters love being there and talking with them. I’ve already recommended this place to so many friends and family!

Cute cafe, really nice spot to do some work and catch a break from the home office. Really friendly staff who always remember the little conversations you've had each time you come in. Really tasty food and I love how their dishes are seasonal. Their hot chocolate is the best!

A cute little coffee shop serving Monmouth coffee. We ordered an Americano and Mocha, both the drinks were good and served at perfect temperature.

Friendly service, fantastic coffee, fabulous pastries (walnut honey cake is a must try). The terrace upstairs is very nice to enjoy your drink and snack. Had a rude lady at the abbey cafe next door give me very nasty attitude. I’m so happy she was unpleasant. Her shop looked dirty and cluttered. I walked over next door to this little gem and the rest was history. Will be back whenever I’m in the area to try their other goodies.

Great food freshly made and great service attitude at this place. It's a dream everything I go there and the chefs are superb at what they do, especially Ioana, she makes the absolute best carrot cake I've had.

Great coffee and great vibes! Any time of the day that I enter Vera’s, I am always welcomed with a smile from the staff. It’s a very cozy place to enjoy a nice meal or iced coffee! 100% recommend.

Local gem and good coffee with a strong chocolatey note, which was delicious. They sell deli items, wine, brunch and pastries. There is downstairs seating as well as many benches outside. I loved my morning here.

Really lovely place! Beautiful independent shop run by lovely owners. Definitely worth a visit! Best pain au chocolat ever (inc ones I’ve scoffed in France), wonderful coffee, lovely fresh produce and many lovely treats. Can’t wait for their cooked food offering prepared on the premises by top chef, Tim! Just what’s needed on this side of SJW. And now with online ordering too.

Proper big pot of leaf breakfast tea, enough for several cups plus a bowl of yummy pretzels. Exactly what I needed after a long day out and about, and before dinner. I'll be back for more on the tasty menu.

An absolute gem of a place! So good, you must get here if you can. Small place where everything is made completely fresh with no shortcuts by Nico the owner and it was literally perfect for it. The food is uniquely good; driven by Nico's absolute passion for ensuring that what he serves to you will love. Well we did 100%- tricolore salad, mushroom pasta, Cortado's and Cannoli You can tell that Nico thrives on every customer having the best experience.Lovely atmosphere as well. Bravo Nico!

Nice relaxing Saturday brunch. The owner puts love into making the food for us and ensures everything is made fresh. It might take some time as it is just him running the caffe, but you get the authentic Italian experience :)

We went back for a brunch again; always excellent food at Nico's cafe. We had a poppy bagel with chicken escalope with so many other ingredients including avocado, mozzarella etc; divine taste!!! No chain restorant food here; all bespoke; home made; the highest quality food, made with love. My cappuccino was the best I had and my hubby can't stop talking about his espresso; you just need to try this: Nico is an expert for coffee! Peaceful cafe, enjoyable ambience, beautiful presentation and welcoming, friendly and professional owner/ host. Amazing experience, highly recommended; we will be back again and again

Wonderful experience at the Cali’s! Had my very first English breakfast. Portion was generous. Service was great. Very cosy place to enjoy a lovely breakfast.

I'm typing this as I sit in this excellent cafe. Very warm friendly atmosphere and brilliant service. The staff are friendly and so is the owner. Try the toasted croissant with a cappuccino ☕ They also serve a full English & other hot meals. If you're in this part of town totally check out Cali Cafe 😃

What a brilliant find, we stumbled across this cafe whilst looking for something to eat and we weren't disappointed. Very friendly owner and excellent food. The plate was massive and very good value for money especially for London! It all tasted lovely and fresh and it was a very pleasant dinner. Definitely recommend 👍🏻

This is a takeaway coffee shop located in st John's wood tube station. Even though it is takeaway there are some seats outside, though you may get pestered by some pigeons if you choose to sit and eat there. It serves electric coffee which is a roaster based in Ealing, the coffee is good but the flat white wasn't very big, so if you like your coffee a little bigger ask for a latte instead. The croissant was excellent. Because this shop is a 5-minute walk from abbey road recording studios it also sells beatle souvenirs, which I bought a pin! So if you like artisan coffee and want to take pictures of yourself crossing the zebra crossing by abbey road studios then come here!

Came here on my way to lords cricket ground. Service was very friendly and on point. The coffee was fantastic and I say that as someone that used to make coffee for 12 years as a barista. The pastries were exceptional and there was a good choice. Good seating outside, if you want to stop by. This will be my coffee destination whenever I am in the area, I recommend it be yours too!

As a big Beatles fan this was an amazing experience. Personally I don’t like cafes that much, however this was definitely the best cafe I’ve been to. I wish I could come here more often (but I don’t live in London… As well as very good coffee they had a lot of Beatles merch!!!

Their board says ‘Coffee with friends, the perfect bland’ It’s true. Very friendly, laughing with customers. It’s my first time here and they quickly made me feel welcome. Coffee is lovely and my croissant delicious. Thank you.

First of all, it’s just a super interesting location You walk up the stairs through all the unique antique stores And when you arrive you get the vibe Very cozy, home-like, and just cute. I liked the kinda random decorations and the rooftop! No reservation needed when you go there right at the opening (10am) Super full english breakfast The bacon and sausages were impressive I also love their cakes a lot We ended up ordering 2 chocolate cakes 1 carrot cake and 1 lemon cake after our breakfast! I like the cake+tea deal (5,50£) And the staffs were all welcoming and nice. The huge tip jar(?) was also funny and cool This place is such a hidden gem and I definitely want ti come again next time to eat on the rooftop bar!

It’s the price that sets this place apart. Pretty decent food at a very generous price for this part of London. Sat atop the huge antique market, it has a simple menu, not the vastest choice but full English tasted reasonable enough. Can sit inside or weather permitting in the rooftop terrace.

BEST breakfast around here. Great food and great service. Such a lovely place. A very English feel to it.
