I have been going to The Hair Library since it first opened and would highly recommend it! The girls give me great advice when it comes to styling my hair as well as tips to look after it. I use Tara but know I can go to Rosie, Mandy or Jemimah and have the same experience they are all very good.

Tara at the Hair Library has been styling my hair for over 15 years.She’s absolutely brilliant and wholly responsible for any compliments about my hair. I can even say she is award-winning after I won a (slightly silly) award for having the best hair in my profession (by public vote!). One of the best things about Tara is that she is a visionary - take her advice and you won’t regret it!

Wanted to get highlights done on my curly hair and Rosie did the most amazing job! She spent so long perfecting the colour and diffusing my hair at the end I felt so taken care of. Would definitely recommend to any other curly hair girls!

Rosie has been doing my hair for nearly a year now after needing a colour correction from a different salon. I would now NEVER trust anyone else with my hair as Rosie smashes it every time. She is amazing and going to see Rosie is like chatting to a friend making the whole experience genuinely enjoyable. The whole Hair Library salon is comfortable and welcoming, I love going here! Never anywhere else.

We saw Em today and she was amazing with my autistic son. We instantly felt at ease. She spoke to him the whole time and was so patient. A wonderful and relaxing experience for us both and a beautiful haircut to xx Thankyou Em your a star ⭐

Had a perfect experience with Molly, who gave me a complete restyle. Absolutely in love with my new hair, Molly did a fabulous job and she’s such a lovely person to deal with, made getting a much needed break for some self care and even better experience. 10/10, highly recommended.

I absolutely love my appointments with Molly. She embraces hair change requests with creativity and honesty, and my latest change didn’t disappoint! Overall the salon itself is relaxed, friendly and chatty - like one big family.🙂

Had my nails done with Hayley for the first time, after she was recommended and I was previously dissatisfied with my nails from other places. She did a fantastic job, exactly what I wanted. Really happy with them and already booked in again for next time. She has so many designs and colours available. Cannot recommend Hayley enough, she explained different nail types and methods to me, her pricing is really fair and reasonable and made me feel welcome and at ease. The location is easy to find within the town centre and there is plenty of parking nearby.

I absolutely love getting my nails and toes done by Dee! I get BIAB and a design on my hands, and they never lift or crack. I always get questions on whether my nails are fake, but they are 100% my natural nails. She has never made me feel bad about my toes, and in fact, has totally boosted my confidence about my feet. Now I can't stop being barefoot and taking pictures of my feet. It is going to be really hard to replace her when I go back to university in September. I have also gotten 24 inch extensions by Kira. They were installed a day after my consultation which was really quick. I am very pleased with my hair and Kira's friendliness. Also shoutout to Hayley for being in the salon everytime I walk in and being a pleasure to be around. She's so funny and her presence is immaculate.

It was the first time I had visited the salon today and I had such a wonderful experience. After hating my hair for so long and being disappointed by other salons I am thrilled with the service and result I got today. ✨Poppy is an absolute magician ✨and completely understood what I wanted and how to get there with a difficult starting point. She pulled off an amazing colour correction that I wasn’t sure was possible and I couldn’t rate her highly enough. All of the staff I encountered have been lovely, Molly, Jasmine and Paige too. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the salon to anyone! 🌟

Libby just gets it. I would fully trust her to do her own thing on my hair and know I’ll love it. She’s a perfectionist and has such high attention to detail and also thinks about the practicality’s of a colour or cut. She also puts things into normal people words so you understand exactly what she’s asking or doing. So glad I found her to do my hair. The best service in blow and blush. I was a little apprehensive of going to a new hairdresser, having recently had a somewhat disastrous hair cut and colour at another hairdressers, but there was no need, Claire gave me an excellent haircut. She is a highly skilled hairdresser and clearly loves her job as well. I am very pleased with my new haircut and immediately made a follow-up appointment!

I had my first appointment today at Blow and Blush with the lovely Poppy and have had the best experience. Poppy spent 5 hours creating the balayage hair of dreams and I absolutely love it! She went through a consultation with me last week and gave me advice based on things I wanted to change and the outcome is perfect. I am so thankful and will be back to see Poppy for my next cut/colour. She is so lovely to chat to and the salon is beautiful. Highly recommend!

Had to move back to Wales currently but I still come to Kent to have my hair done by Ashley, as he is so great with colour correction, bleach and also gets the layers really nice. He is also super fast! I have lots of hair, very long and am naturally dark and have a lot.of platinum highlights without the condition being damaged

I recently had my hair done by Ashley, and I couldn’t be happier! For years, I’d been traveling miles to see another hairdresser, but I felt they had become complacent and weren’t really listening to what I wanted anymore. From the moment I met Ashley, I knew he was the right match for me. He took the time to truly listen and understand my needs. I have a chronic hair condition that leaves my hair thin and unable to grow, which has always impacted my confidence. When I shared my concerns with Ashley, he listened with such care and empathy. I walked into the salon feeling vulnerable, but I walked out feeling like the most confident version of myself. Ashley is nothing short of amazing. He made me feel so special, and the transformation was incredible. For some, hair might seem superficial, but when you don’t have much of it, it can be deeply upsetting. To leave the salon with a beautiful head of hair was such a confidence boost. Ashley is an absolute gem. If you’re looking for a hairdresser who truly listens, understands, and delivers, look no further! I can’t recommend him enough.

Today for the first time I went to Doo-Das hair salon In Loose Maidstone. I had such a lovely welcome and the young lady Alana was very good. She listened to what I would like. I showed her some pictures and she's done exactly what I had on the pictures and I'm so grateful. I haven't looked like this for a long time. I'm certainly going to get her to cut my hair again. Visited the salon for the first time and can say I was very impressed with the entire experience. Not only has my hair been given a new lease of life with fresh colour, cut and styling it also looks thicker and healthier . I was consulted throughout every step and Nothing seemed too much trouble. After going through a nightmare with various hairdressers, I can now say I’ve found the best hair dressers that have saved my hair! The colour and time listening to me about what i want, they got it spot on! Not only that, I would say the salon is the best that I have visited when it comes to being pampered. I love the electric chairs used at the basins. It was like laying down having your hair massaged! I could have fallen asleep! The staff are so friendly and especially angie who really understood what I wanted. I highly recommend doodas loose!

Lara did an amazing job colouring my daughter’s hair yesterday giving her highlights and lowlights which look unbelievable my daughter is so happy and loves her new hair Lara also did an amazing job on my hair a few months back. She is the only hairdresser that has managed to get me to a colour that I love after years of dark brown box dye and I am so thankful to her. Lara is so helpful and professional and I highly recommend her to anyone Me and daughter will not be using any other hairdresser now that we have found her.

The best full body deep tissue massage I have ever had! Lauren is very friendly and highly skilled. She made me feel at ease and worked really hard. As a result, I feel like a new woman! Highly recommended. I have already booked my next massage.

What a lovely experience!! An online promotion persuaded me to try The Oast salon today and I'm so glad I did. From the minute I arrived (early) Danni was welcoming and attentive. She listened to what I explained I would like as a cut and then took me through for the shampoo. A lovely chair massage and a really theraputic hair wash and head massage made me feel very relaxed. A lovely latte and biscuits whilst Danni cut and styled my hair added to the experience. She took lots of time to ensure I liked the cut as she was trimming and styled my hair beautifully. My hair hasn't looked so good in a long time! I highly recommend the salon and in my experience, Danni as a lovely young lady and a super stylist. Great price and worth every penny! I’ve been visiting the Oast for a few years now, and I genuinely look forward to my monthly appointments. The staff is incredible, and Natalia has become a true friend for life. She’s warm, attentive, thorough and always takes the time to listen. Even with my first appointment with her it felt like I knew her already! Just overall perfect.

I went today with my daughter. She is SEN and struggles to adapt to new places. She didn't even want her hair washed. Casey was amazing. Patient, kind and funny. She made a real effort to make sure she was happy and comfortable and reassured throughout she has even asked to go back. Salons can be quite indicating at the best of times but she was amazing! Thanks for having us and we will definitely be back!

Had the best hair appointment with Sarah Jones! She was super patient and took her time, was sensitive to my requests and was just really pleasant throughout the appointment! We had a really lovely conversation the whole time and I left the salon feeling very pretty! The salon and her station were kept very clean and tidy, all the equipment looked really clean, fresh towels and capes were used- somethings that are very important to me when I go to a hair appointment! Definitely a 5 star rating! Would highly recommend X

Got my haircut by Vickie today (hopefully I spelt that right) absolutely amazing result. I got exactly what I wanted and more. Honestly can’t recommend her enough. I will definitely be back again and won’t be using anyone else from now on. Proper sorted me out and the conversation we had was hilarious. I’ll be back at Urban soon because of her. Diamond in the dirt that one.

Once again it was brilliant seeing Sophie. My colour was carefully selected and extra time was taken to ensure that it was finished as expected. Sophie is so attentive and takes great care with her styling. I have received so many compliments on my colour and look forward to returning when it needs replenishing.
