I highly recommend Oliveira. I have finally found my hairdressers and Venia is an extremely knowledgeable and experienced hairdresser. My hair is more complicated, so you need to know your stuff with thick/curly hair! Venia was very attentive to what I wanted to do with my hair and patiently gave advice on what would suit my hair the best. I started with dry and lifeless looking curls and color and finished with beautiful bouncy curls and a stunning glow to my hair, and I always get compliments. The salon itself is very welcoming and fun, and I always come out feeling taken care of.

I went in today for a walk in appointment — got my shoulder length hair cut very short. I haven’t been to a professional hairdresser in years so I was very nervous but the hairdresser was so nice and so accommodating! She did a wonderful job on my hair and I will 100% go back to get it refreshed! Thank you so much for the confidence boost 💞

Cannot recommend this salon highly enough! Excellent stylists who listen to what you want and recommend suitable products for your hair. Was over the moon with the cut and colour I was given by Eudu… since using the products recommended by him, my hair is in so much better condition! Very warm and friendly welcome … and delicious coffee! 😊

Asked for Jean Seberg circa 1960 / Winona Ryder circa 1994 hair and got a pixie cut completely tailored to me. Good coffee and conversation made it a very enjoyable afternoon! I've received many compliments and it's only been a few hours since I left the salon, thank you :)

I was booked in for my birthday, straight from the get go, the ladies at front of desk were welcoming and attentive, checking your needs before you sat down. My stylist was Chelsie, she did an amazing job of making me feel comfortable and eased any anxieties I had about being in the hairdressers. She talked me through her processes and the reason she worked the way she did. Chelsie was super fun and bubbly! She also did not gate-keep her secrets to luscious hair! Used Stone Hairdressers for the first time today (well my partner did) I had booked for my partner to get her hair done as a birthday gift. From the moment we stepped through the door the girls were extremely welcoming! It's a beautiful salon, well kept and clean. Each staff member in there was very approachable and attentive to everyones needs. Finally - the finish look my partner had done was absolutely GORGEOUS. A huge thank you and shout-out to Chelsie. I think we've found our new salon we will be using in the future! Lovely find. Highly recommend.

I went to The Chair 2 weeks ago and left not entirely happy, as I found many split ends after the appointment. When I left an in-depth review (3 stars) they contacted me asking if I was available for another appointment for a free cut & blow dry to fix the problem. Today I came back for my appointment and they were lovely. They really cleared up any miscommunication between me, the client, and my Hairdresser, Amber, and Amber did a beautiful job. Katie, the owner, also came and talked to me to make sure everything went well and I left with no visible split ends and a gorgeous hairstyle. Went to The Chair today for the first time. My daughter has a very sensitive scalp and is always in a lot of pain when going to the hairdresser. I can’t remember her name, but was a young brunette young lady, my daughter’s word is the best experience she has ever had at a hairdressers. Customer service is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ she was so sweet, nice and gentle with my daughter’s scalp and she smiled all the way home because she was so happy with her hair cut n dry. Having struggled for years to find a suitable hairdresser who can manage my mixed race hair I finally found The Chair. They are simply the best! They work their magic on my hair every time and make me feel well and truly pampered whilst I'm having my keratin smoothing Brazilian blowdry. I have a regular wash cut and blowdry in between treatments and my hair is now in such good condition since becoming a customer of theirs. Hair magicians! 🪄 Thank you 💇‍♀️

I had my first visit to Sosta last week for my Brazilian blowout and trim. Really lovely salon, welcoming and chatty staff and I've just had my first hair wash since having my blowout done and I'm super happy with the result - it's taken so much of my usual frizz out, tamed my waviness and it's super soft and shiny! Will defo be returning for my future treatments x

I recently moved into the area after having the same hairdresser for 5 years I was nervous to try somewhere new. I really enjoyed the calm, clean and friendly atmosphere at Blakes and found everyone warm and welcoming. Annie did a full head of blonde highlights for me and I was really pleased with the colour. I felt really freshened up and the colour was beautifully done. I definitely recommend a visit.

CASSIE IS AMAZING!! After numerous bad experiences with other hairdressers I had put off getting my hair cut. But after nearly two years it did need a cut so read the reviews and booked with Cassie. Was very scared but OH MY LIFE!! I’ve actually found a hairdresser that listens, did what I asked and advised on what to do in the future. My faith is now restored. Such a lovely place, all the stylists are so kind and friendly and there’s no competition between them. I can trust any of them to do my hair and they always do such a good job and I love the end result! I’m not the easiest client given that I always want to change my hair colour and style, but they’re always so accommodating and also educate me on what my hair needs based on its condition! Love my visits here ☺️

Went to the Barn today had my hair cut with Steve,as a very nervous customer I was made to feel very welcome and put at ease straight away. Steve spent time giving advice on what would suit my hair but listened to me aswell. Felt like a different person cut was amazing and have something i can now manage ,my partner loved it too . Beautiful place aswell to have treatments booked again before leaving. Thankyou Steve for your time and patience, also lady on reception was so lovely too very welcoming. 10-10 see you in December.

The Barn is all about making their clients feel comfortable and well looked after. I have Laura do my hair and she always makes me feel fabulous when I leave with a fresh new do 😊 Tea and coffees are not in short supply and I feel they go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. My mother also uses the Barn and Neil is her stylist again going all out to make sure she is comfortable and happy with her cut. I would definitely recommend 100%

I had my first haircut in the UK here after I arrived for my PhD. I also had recently a hair treatment and haircut and it was amazing. It worked perfectly. They know how to address the issues and use the correct techniques. Both Mia (haircut) and Lulu (treatment and haircut) were amazing professionals, nice and friendly, explained all the procedures and techniques and we had I very nice chat. If you want great service and people, look no further!

I visited this salon after seeing positive mentions of Lulu's work online, especially her skill with alternative styles. I booked in for a wolf cut but let her take the lead, prioritising a look that would minimise visible breakage. She absolutely nailed it. The final cut not only tackled my concerns but added structure and shape that suits my face perfectly. On top of her expertise, Lulu was incredibly kind and offered engaging conversation throughout the appointment, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend!
