I met Karla Osborne through the Grey Blending Expert Directory compiled by Rosie Baylis Hair. Karla and I had a Zoom consultation, where I felt listened and heard, and I was confident that she knew what my hair required. At our appointment I was so relaxed due to Karla’s welcoming, professional and reassuring manner. She explained exactly what she was going to do to remove my yellow brassy tones and help me embrace my grey and silver ones! The transformation took almost 5 hours and was skilfully executed at every step. The end result is a triumph, I am so delighted with the colour, cut and style. We have 3 more appointments booked in the diary this year and I’m beyond grateful to have found such a wonderful grey blending practitioner.

Karla is incredible at what she does!! I was tired of having banding from previous hairdressers and harsh re growth. I was recommended Karla! She creates a really soft blend eliminating harsh re growth allowing me much longer between colours. She also educates you on how to keep the colour vibrant and hair healthy. Would highly recommend!

Karla is truly incredible! Her expertise in all things hair—whether it’s cutting, coloring, highlights, or styling—is unmatched. She has transformed my hair from over-processed bleach blonde to a gorgeous lived-in blonde, and now to a stunning brunette, all while improving its health after years of damage from other hairdressers. Even after moving to Kent, I gladly make the trip to see Karla, and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. She’s simply the best!

Rachel is honestly a miracle worker! I went in with really damaged hair and in need of some serious colour correction, Rachel could not have been nicer about it, never made to feel bad for any previous hair mistakes and she did absolutely everything to help me. She takes real care an attention to look at the health of your hair as well and offers great advice. Shes managed to turn the worst my hair has looked into the absolute best and I could not be happier- thank you so much!

It was the 1st time I went to rachels salon yesterday, and all I can say is absolutely Fantastic. I treated my neice to a treatment plus a cut, from start to finish the service was amazing. Every single member of staff were friendly, smiling and very welcoming. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back. I booked in for Rachel to correct a bad haircut I'd had elsewhere. I was dubious and didn't think much could be done, but I was wrong. She worked miracles. I've had sooo many compliments on the new haircut. Even my regular colour tech was super impressed with the cut. I'm so grateful to Rachel and will definitely be back.

I'm currently in the process of growing my hair out and thought I'd try going to a hairdresser for the first time. The Open staff were really hospitable and made me feel like I was right at home. It was nice to see such a warm environment from the moment I walked into the place. It felt like a whole experience, which I rarely get with the barbers I normally went to. As for the haircut itself, it was amazing. Ben walked me through the different areas of my hair, what looked great and what needed to be polished up. He paid attention to everything I was saying and was able to add on to the vision I had. I couldn't have been happier with the result, hand on heart the best haircut I've gotten. Worth every penny. I don't normally write reviews this in-depth but they honestly deserve it. Will definitely be coming back here in the future, much thanks to all the staff! My hair was made by Amy Lilly today and wooow she is brilliant. Not only a kind person but also a very talented hairdresser. I explained to her only in a few words what hair style I’d like and she made it perfectly. I was also served with a welcome drink -just made my day. Highly recommended service. Thank you very much.

Had an appointment with Elliot last week and it was the hair appointment I’ve always wanted! He took the time to sit with me and work out what was best for my hair, then cut and styled it beautifully. The team overall all lovely, very welcoming. Thank you!

I booked my appointment on phone with Katie and explained what I wanted. She cut and styled my hair so well more than my expectation. I recommend Katie if you have thick and long hair. Overall service was really amazing. Really happy to have my hair cut and blowdried for my Birthday.

I am very happy about my first experience at the Hemel Hempstead salon because I had a very good level of service from Richard and his team including Molly and Abi as they were very friendly!

Vanessa was fantastic. I mean her experience speaks for itself but she was brilliant at listening to what I wanted, making suggestions based on what would suit me etc. The scalp massage during the hair washing part of the experience was incredible! I typically have a really hard time trying a new hairdresser because I get so worried about the result but I am beyond happy with how my hair has turned out. It looks amazing!!

Start to finish everything was amazing! I was greeted as soon as I walked in, I was given a gown and offered a drink. Liv came over and gave me a consult and then offered to take my baby whilst I had my hair washed by Jess. Sam, Katie and Jess then amused my baby between them whilst Liv gave me an amazing cut as always which was such a special touch, I was fully expecting and would of happily had my little one on my nap but it was such a treat not having him either. My cut and finish by Liv was incredible. I’d give the whole experience 6 stars if I could.

Victoria does a fantastic job at colouring my hair. She always listens to what I want but will offer her professional suggestions as well. All the staff are lovely and welcoming and there's a great atmosphere.

I normally get my beauty treatments here so decided to get my hair done yesterday and I have to say I LOVE it ! I have no idea how she got my brown hair to a lovely icy blonde l, I love it ! Great place full of amazing staff and of course the best receptionist has the pink hair !

Just had a gorgeous balayage done today by Mia and I cannot recommend this place enough!! Mia is honestly so talented, friendly and attentive and she did my hair exactly as i pictured it! All the other staff were also very friendly and I had an overall amazing experience. I was quite nervous at first as I realised this is a big transformation and can be difficult to do but I’ve genuinely never looked better and I am so pleased with the results! Thank you!!

absolutely brilliant service provided by Kindi. Eyelash lift was just what I expected. She also did my nails and have to say they look so good! Kindi was super patient and kind through the whole process and did not rush at all took her time and did a great job. 10/10 recommend!

I just got a fresh haircut, and I’m honestly loving it! The stylist SHERY really listened to what I wanted and took the time to understand my hair type and face shape. I asked for a slightly shorter, more textured look, and they absolutely nailed it. The layers are perfectly blended, and the shape adds a lot of volume without looking too bulky. Plus, the overall cut feels really light and easy to manage. It’s got just the right amount of edge to feel fresh, but it's still versatile enough for a more laid-back style when I want it.
