Had my first Lip blush yesterday with Polly. Super happy with the result so far. Polly was really good at taking time to understand the best colour that would suit my complexion and what to expect :)

Had my first lip blush done with Polly and she was absolutely fantastic. The salon is a girls dream, amazing and clean. Polly is clearly very skilled at what she does and got the shape and colour absolutely perfect for my skin tone. Will be back!

Having makeup and hair done really isn’t my thing but had to have it done for a wedding. Louise done my makeup and Connie done my hair. They made me look lovely was so pleased . It was great being able to get hair and makeup done in the same place. Highly recommend.

I don’t think I can get a Hollywood wax that’s not the Lycon Hot Chocolate Wax ever again. I’ve been getting waxed for the past 7 years and this is the most painless waxing I’ve ever had. Bhumika’s also the most attentive and thorough with the waxing I’ve ever had, I never have any loose hair left anywhere. She’s also available quite late into the evening which is so nice for someone like me who works very long days. I would very highly recommend her services to anyone who’s looking for less painful waxing options or anyone who’s new to waxing altogether.

Bhumika is the loveliest beautician I’ve gone to! She’s got a warm and gentle approach and my eyebrows look amazing every time I leave. She really takes her time and dedicates herself to getting the best outcome. The massage at the end relieved my headache I’ve been having all day and she gives such a helpful tips. I feel very much at ease and comfortable in her place and could recommend it to everyone!

Bhumika Is genuinely one of the sweetest beauticians I’ve ever experienced. I regularly get my eyebrows done with her and she always makes me feel at ease, she’ll check in at various stages and make sure I like everything, unlike some other beauticians who will do what they like and only check at the end when it is too late. She also provides great aftercare and advice. I recommend her to everyone I know because I know she won’t let them down.

My hair was made by Amy Lilly today and wooow she is brilliant. Not only a kind person but also a very talented hairdresser. I explained to her only in a few words what hair style I’d like and she made it perfectly. I was also served with a welcome drink -just made my day. Highly recommended service. Thank you very much.

Amazing service! Managed to get a last minute booking online.. i was wash, cut and blow dried by Ben. He really took the time to listen to what I wanted, was meticulous with each stage and even took the time to answer any questions I had for in-between salon visits. As a result, I’m very happy with my shorter hair! In addition their team was super helpful and inviting too. Thank you so much, definitely coming back! 😊

I booked my appointment on phone with Katie and explained what I wanted. She cut and styled my hair so well more than my expectation. I recommend Katie if you have thick and long hair. Overall service was really amazing. Really happy to have my hair cut and blowdried for my Birthday.

I'm currently in the process of growing my hair out and thought I'd try going to a hairdresser for the first time. The Open staff were really hospitable and made me feel like I was right at home. It was nice to see such a warm environment from the moment I walked into the place. It felt like a whole experience, which I rarely get with the barbers I normally went to. As for the haircut itself, it was amazing. Ben walked me through the different areas of my hair, what looked great and what needed to be polished up. He paid attention to everything I was saying and was able to add on to the vision I had. I couldn't have been happier with the result, hand on heart the best haircut I've gotten. Worth every penny. I don't normally write reviews this in-depth but they honestly deserve it. Will definitely be coming back here in the future, much thanks to all the staff! I have been to nutmeg many times and I’ve never been disappointed they always deliver the best treatments, the girls are really friendly and you always come away so relaxed! Looking forward to next time! I can recommend the Shirodhara Balinese hair ritual. So relaxing.

Yesterday I treated myself to the sun salutation escape package for my birthday… it was unbelievable. Everyone was so helpful, friendly and polite when I first walked in. I needed to use the toilet, which was stocked with products such as deodorant, sanitary products, hairbrush etc. Katie carried out all my treatments with the highest level of professionalism, care and consideration. She used the perfect amount of pressure with all her massage techniques. My facial was heavenly. I even had some waxing done before hand, which she did brilliant too. Overall, it was the best birthday treat I bought myself. Thank you so much ladies, hope to see you again soon!

I have had many massages over the years from many different salons but this was the best massage I have ever had. I'm not local to the salon but I'll definitely be returning here soon. I have been going to The Lash Lounge in Hemel every 2 weeks for about 18months now. Saffron has always done my lashes there and knows exactly how I like them and always does a fabulous job. She feels like an old friend who I can talk freely about my life to too, with no judgement so I come away with fab lashes as well as having put the world to rights! Highly recommend xx

Highly recommend this Salon. Always so friendly and welcoming. I mainly use Sophie who is a brilliant hairdresser and so lovely. I moved to using this salon just over a year ago. Have had many different services and have always been delighted with the outcome. Prices are reasonable. They always talk you through what they are doing and don’t try to oversell products. Always look forward to my next appointment.

Had a wash & blow dry here couple of weeks ago & was totally blown away with the service received here. The stylist that did my blow dry was Georgina & lily did my hair wash. Both girls were absolutely lovely & did a great job. Will definitely be returning.

I've been coming to Lacey's salon since 2021, everyone is so genuine, lovely and friendly. The atmosphere is always happy and bubbly, everyone is kind and they couldn't be more accommodating if they tried. Despite my spending 5+ hours in the chair I genuinely look forward to my visit because I know I'll be looked after and have a fab time chin-wagging away. The salon really goes above and beyond, and blow the 'standard' hairdresser experience out the water. Hot/cold beverages, even caramel iced coffee (with biscoff of course), foot rests, hair treatments, scalp massages, you name it. I used to hate going to the hairdressers before Lacey started doing my hair, I never walked out happy with the result and I found the idle chit-chat and awkward atmosphere uncomfortable at best. The experience is like night and day, not only do I feel like I'm having a 'treat day', but I LOVE my hair every time. If I could afford to come once a month, I would (I have thick hair and a full head of foils, struggle of being platinum blonde - IYKYK). The cut, the colour, the blow-dry and styling is all 10/10. My hair has never been so healthy and I can say with confidence that this salon has a client for life. I'd even travel back down if I moved to Scotland. Thankfully, I don't think that's likely. Lacey's salon is probably one of the few redeeming factors of living in Hemel :)

I cannot rate Lacey Brown hair and beauty HIGHLY ENOUGH. I have been going there for many years and always come away with a fabulous hair style and feeling young again. The Team are all gorgeous and cannot do enough to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. I love the fact that I never feel marginalised by my OAP status but are always included in the fun and laughter which are a regular feature of my visits, which I always look forward to

Have been using the salon for a while now, it’s easy to do a first review but ongoing reviews for excellent service are a little harder. Not here! Amy is amazing, she listens to the leave this bit long but cut my hair convo’s, understands what you want, talks you through what she thinks and carries it out to perfection. Joel is a magician with the head massages and helpful hints on how to look after your hair. You won’t go wrong with either of these two 🫶🏻

My son Adam had his hair cut by Connor. Connor took the time to listen to how Adam wanted his hair and kept checking on him throughout. A really relaxed and friendly place to go.

I went for another appointment today, and I left happy as always, Jess did my hair, and Lily washed my hair and was so lovely and made it a wonderful experience too! Fabulous hairdressers. Staff are really friendly, helpful and full of good advice. I booked in for Rachel to correct a bad haircut I'd had elsewhere. I was dubious and didn't think much could be done, but I was wrong. She worked miracles. I've had sooo many compliments on the new haircut. Even my regular colour tech was super impressed with the cut. I'm so grateful to Rachel and will definitely be back.
