I’ve been going to Townhouse regularly for over 10 years and I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else! Paul and his team are very professional, patient and kind. I’m very happy with the way they cut and colour my hair. The salon atmosphere is friendly and welcoming and visits are always a pleasure. I thoroughly recommend Townhouse.

Managed to book an appointment for my daughter with less than 24hrs notice. They always ask if you would like a drink and take any request my daughter has for her hair into consideration. She always leaves here really happy and full of confidence. Would recommend!

Over the years that i have had my haircut by Lucy I have found her to be amazing, she cuts my hair brilliantly I love my new cut and colour ,they know how to cut long hair correctly, people might think it's easier to cut, apparently not..others could not cut it , it ended up not being cut straight at the back...and best of all i know whenever I go and see Lucy I will walk away from the salon with my hair looking the best and Feeling refreshed! They know how to cut hair correctly unlike some places I've been to before coming here... The experience as usual was was perfect from start to finish. The team are so friendly! I love my new look. The last hair cut I had at a different salon ended up not being a great experience which had left me nervous but this salon gave me an amazing experience! Jasmin was kind and gentle and gave me advice on how my chosen style would look best - honestly it was the best experience and I can't wait to have my hair cut again!

Booked today and had the lovely kieria, such a lovely friendly hairdresser. My cut was superb and my hair treatment and massage was lovely. Definitely would recommend and I will be returning.

Gorgeous interior with a very calming and warm atmosphere there is a very distinct aesthetic. Lovely and professional beauticians with excellent customer service. Very good experience here but just a few small things to note. the prices are slightly higher than the average for salons in the area and they did not have as many gel colours as I am used to. ( but I think I’m just spoilt )

Absolutely wonderful neck,shoulders & back massage! Good prices and in heart of burley, which we love to visit. Definitely will book again.

Had the best advice and haircut I have EVER had. Olivier is friendly and professional. The salon is very rustic and comfortable a much better experience than being in a busy, hot and smelly salon where you feel you are just a number. I recommend Hair in the Forest very highly indeed. Olivier really is the best hairdresser I've ever had. He pays particular attention to hair type and how a cut will change as it grows. He is very enthusiastic and a super nice guy so getting your haircut is always a great experience. I definitely recommend!

Great traditional friendly barber within a market place town where everyone knows each other. I've been having a proper man's haircut there for 10 years. It reminds me of the barber's I used to go with my father when I was a child. The only thing missing is being asked, "Something for the weekend sir".

I can't recommend Verity enough, she's a very skilled hairdresser and makes you feel very at ease! She takes the time to make sure you're happy and time just flies by when I go!

5 stars ! I tentatively tried metaraki hair studios for a cut and blow after seeing it had hundreds of 5 star reviews on fresha. I am so glad I did !!! My hair looks amazing and I feel great. The fact that it is one person a time makes all the difference when you have sensory issues or become anxious at the hairdressers due to noises or small talk. Great experience the whole thing only talk 1 hour and 15 mins.

Super helpful, Esme is a great hairdresser and stylist. I enjoy walking away happy! I'm always greeted with big smiles from Leanne and the other team members. The coffee is good too, along with a cheeky G&T on a Friday 😆

Mark, Claire and the team are always really friendly and welcoming, I've been having my hair cut/coloured here for the past 15 years or so and I've never had a bad experience, they even managed to fix my hair in time for a wedding when it went green from a swimming pool!
