Catherine has cut my hair several times since they opened their salon in Alresford and I have been delighted each time. Recently she coloured my hair and the colour is perfect! I’m so pleased to have found her.

Had my hair cut by Nicole today (it hadn't been cut for a very long time) and I am very pleased with the results! Nicole gave me tips for my hair type and helped me with face framing to suit my face shape.

I love coming here. The environment is always really welcoming and it's clear that all the stylists know their stuff. It's lovely to see that lots do their training there. I have Nicole and she always sits me down before we start to go through her ideas. I know nothing about hair so she explains the best she can so I understand. She makes professional suggestions. She makes me feel really relaxed and allows me to chill! The rest of the team are always on hand for support. Recently, Nicole and Anna did a fantastic job of washing, blow-drying and curling 6 bridesmaids and myself as the bride the morning of my wedding. Fitted us in and made us all look and feel wonderful.

My first time going lighter and Emily was professional and fabulous the whole way, even booking me for a toning treatment with her apprentice to adjust the colour when I fancied. Left my hair soft and nourished and the blend of the balayage was perfect. I have been visiting Emma, and the team, for over 3 years and I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to review. Everytime I visit I feel like a weight has been lifted just by walking through the door. Emma is so lovely and the studio is gorgeous, warm and welcoming. I go regularly for waxes and it’s always quick, as painless as possible, and nice to talk and catch up! Emma also accommodates my being vegan by making sure all products used are vegan friendly and cruelty free.

I’ve had my nails done at LAJ about 5 times now and they have such amazing attention to detail and I’m always so happy with the result. My nails had become a bit weak and damaged after I’d used biab for some time and they were really helpful explaining what other services they offered and helping me to chose a treatment that would help my nail health. I’ve now got a lovely set using dipping powder and I’m really pleased. It’s so nice when places take the time to try and help you and make sure that what they’re doing is the right option for you. I walked in after another salon had repeatedly messed up my nails and LAJ Beauty fit me in to redo my nails and wow. They were so good, they did a main colour and then a shimmer layer on top, the varnish went up to the cuticle and covered the whole nail properly. My nails look perfect, I can’t fault them. Really impressed and love the colour so much!

Hayley and the team do such a brilliant job making me feel welcome every time I visit. As a guy with thick hair that has always struggled with dodgy barbers, Hayley has absolutely nailed every hair cut. I’m looking to grow my hair out (for real this time) and she’s figured out exactly how we can do that to best avoid the awkward stage. Wouldn’t trust anybody else with my hair from now on. On top of that she and the rest of the team are awesome - super lovely - and the salon is full of banter - nice to feel like one of the girls every now and again 😊 Great prices and communication around appointments.
