Lauren and the team made me feel so welcome and the service was amazing. Was an amazing facial and for such good value too! Lauren also helped a lot with skin advice for no extra charge which was extremely helpful. Would recommend to anyone in Newbury and locals!!

I have been using Charmaine's Hair & Beauty since I moved to Newbury 8 years ago and I highly recommend it. Charmaine has always done a fantastic job of cutting and colouring my hair, and she has cut it into a new style on a couple of occasions when I wanted a change. The prices are very reasonable, particularly compared to certain other over-priced hair salons in Newbury. I always enjoy chatting to Charmaine while she does my hair and i'm looking forward to going back once lockdown is lifted and she is able to reopen. Charmaine takes Covid-19 very seriously and the safety measures she implemented made me feel comfortable about visiting the salon.

I spent the day with Emily doing 1 to 1 training on nanos and tapes and it was so much fun. I was a complete newbie, but Emily makes you feel instantly relaxed, takes it at your own pace and gave me plenty of time to ask questions and go over anything I was worried about. Emily is a genius! Right from the initial consultation through to aftercare Emily’s knowledge, passion and talent shine through. I was so insecure about my shorter hair and have considered extensions for a while. WHY DID I NOT DO THIS SOONER?! Love Love Love my new locks! I have been going to Kellie for quite a few years now. I love the way she colours & cuts my hair. I always come away so pleased with the results. She now has her own salon in the centre of Newbury which I visited for the first time today. A lovely spacious salon which has been very stylishly decorated. Always made to feel welcome & a great selection of reading materials along with a good cup of coffee. Reggie the local celebrity sausage dog often makes an appearance with Gina who also works with Kellie and he is such a poppet curled up in his bed minding his own business but keeping an eye on proceedings A great salon and one which Kellie & her sister have worked so hard to achieve and open so customers can enjoy it, while having a relaxing time being pampered.

I've been going to Kellie for my hair colouring and cut and Nicole for my eyelashes and eyebrow tints and massages for over 11 years. I'm still getting compliments about my hair colour. Nicole styles my eyebrows in such a way to make me feel better than I did 20 years ago (I'm in my 40s now). The massage I had today was perfect - felt very floaty afterwards. I've sent my friends for massages with Nicole as I wanted them to experience the same. Thank you!

Kellie is an absolute professional, and she is more than excellent at her job. Kellie takes a personal interest in her clients, and she has an incredible eye for detail. I have been seeing Kellie now for many years and I have always left her salon overjoyed with the result. She looks after my hair and has taught how to manage coloured hair so that I can get the most out of my colour and style. I honestly can’t recommend her enough - and her new salon is a fantastic experience. Everything that you need to indulge all under one roof.

I was recommended Lauren and oli from a good client of mine. I had a cut and blow dry with oli on my first appointment. He was excellent and friendly and I left very pleased. A few weeks later I had a full head of highlights with Lauren. She discussed with me what I wanted to achieve. Was very knowledgeable and the result was the best colour I have ever had. My hair was beautifully and carefully dried by their assistant who was also excellent. You are made to feel very welcome and comfortable and I'm so grateful to have found a real gem in Newbury.

I just wanted to share that I had the most amazing reflexology with Jill. The welcome from all the staff is so warm and kind and you are always made to feel part of the family. I can really struggle to relax but Jill was fantastic at putting me at ease and making me comfortable. The treatment used wonderful products from Neal's Yard, I felt so incredibly relaxed as well and the feeling lasted all day. I can't thank you enough.

Fabulous experience at the courtyard salon, Elcot Park. Andrew was amazing. I've had social anxiety for many years, I had been doing DIY hair cuts for 8 years, Andrew made me feel relaxed, comfortable during my appointment, fantastic chatter and most importantly felt amazing with my hair-do when I left.

What a fantastic experience! As someone who has worked in the industry for a long time I’m rarely the client. But while working away I treated myself to a blowdry and I wasn’t disappointed! As soon as I walked into the salon, I was made to feel special. It was very professional yet friendly and down to earth. I had eve for my blowdry and she was great. She gave me a relaxing head massage with a hot towel and the products smelt divine too. She was chatty but followed my lead, so she didn’t push conversation if I didn’t want to - which I really like after a day of back to back meetings. I will be back again soon- thanks for making me super glamorous!

I am not from Newbury but was staying there for a wedding. I booked an appointment with Chakra because they are an Aveda Salon - the same as my regular salon in Exeter. I asked for a wash and style for the wedding. They listened to what I wanted and how I liked it styled and I was utterly thrilled with the result. Thank you so much! Highly recommended.

I just had my haircut with Karla, and she is absolutely amazing! From the start, she took the time to discuss the cut and make sure we were on the same page. Then, throughout, she consistently checked in to make sure I was happy with how things were going. My hair looks phenomenal and I am so happy with the cut.
