Great little place, fresh cooked fish, pot of pickles, really enjoyed it and the staff are so typically friendly Yorkshire folk, I thoroughly recommend it
The fish and chips were amazing , I thourelly enjoyed them , the two lasses behind the counter made us feel welcome , I highly recommend this place
We just popped in for a bag of chips as an evening snack on a busy Friday in December but ended up tempted by the small fish and chips given the reasonable prices. Also there were options for Festive Bites like battered mince pies, battered pigs in blankets and battered brie served with cranberry sauce. We had to try the brie. Got it all home nice and hot, the brie was about the best we've ever tried including in restaurants and very nice fish. The light batter seems to be the secret. The chips were also excellent and we were pleased to be offered scraps as well. Great friendly service from the two girls, hope to be back again if we're in the area :)
