We got married here in August and had a fantastic day. The venue is great - private, rustic and beautifully set up. All the staff were great and they made everything easy. We loved the ceremony room in particular, it was exactly what we were looking for. We were lucky to have had a beautiful sunny day, but this venue would have been amazing whatever the weather so we wasn't too worried about the chance of rain. The venue are absolutely top class at communication, which is one of the main things you want when planning your wedding. They respond to emails quickly, answer questions efficiently and do everything they can to make your day special. Thanks Hanbury!

We absolutely loved our wedding at Hanbury, and we both honestly couldn’t have asked for a better day. Hanbury were in constant contact and no question was too small. The venue having 3 seperate rooms for each part of the day was a massive selling point for us. Not only is the venue beautiful but the staff were so helpful, in particularly Vicky who coordinated a day and helped it all run so smoothly! Thank you to team Hanbury

We got married here on 16th May 2024 and Hanbury Barns was the most perfect venue for us! It has everything we could have asked for and the staff were so attentive and friendly. Kayleigh was our wedding coordinator and she was just perfect for us. Nothing was ever too much to ask for and she made us feel so at ease throughout the whole process. The venue is beautiful and immaculate and despite the torrential rain all day, it was just so perfect for us. It is a fully accessible venue with no steps which was ideal for some of our family members with mobility issues. The accommodation in the pods was beautiful and so clean and well kept too. Everyone commented on how beautiful the venue was and everyone had such an amazing day. I will be recommending this venue to everyone and anyone! We got married here in March 2023 and had the most amazing day. The venue is stunning - private, very safe (for children), beautifully set up. All members of staff were absolutely great and bent over backwards to make everything as easy as possible, in both the build-up to the day and on the actual wedding day. Everything went as planned, the venue looked exactly how we wanted it to and all our guests continuously commented on how beautiful the venue was. Vicki was our wedding coordinator and she is amazing at what she does. Nothing was too much and we will really miss messaging her! Communication throughout the build-up was fantastic, emails and WhatsApp messages were responded to incredibly quickly, getting an appointment to visit for measuring up, or practising walking down the aisle was super easy to book. Everything was dealt with so efficiently and they really do go above and beyond to make your day perfect. Hanbury team, we are so grateful to you, for allowing us to have the most magical day of our lives take place at the Barns - we wish we could do it all over again!!! Thank you! x

Can’t thank Claire and the team enough for all they did to help decorate and set up our wedding. Their experience with weddings and the contacts they have really helped us and we certainly couldn’t have done it without them. Claire totally understood our vision from the get go and really brought it to life - it looked better than we could have even dreamed of. Her calm demeanour was a real comfort to us throughout. My husband and I got married in August at Wildhive in Derbyshire. Village Green Events helped style the wedding and Laura, who was our contact, was amazing to work with! She leaves no stone unturned when it comes to her attention to detail and execution. Everything was so well thought out and her ability to foresee things you will need or might want is truly amazing. We booked Paul for a client event of ours and he has been amazing! from initial enquiry, to booking confirmation he has been on hand to assist with any queries, changes or amendments we have. On the day was perfect, he was setup quite quickly and effectively. the guests loved the photobooth and the queue kept running until we closed the event! Experienced two different booths by Imprint Events at a recent Awards event. Absolutely amazing to get a real photo to capture the moment of us all in a black tie attire. The second booth was more of a plinth where this amazing camera rolls around you and captures a short video of you dancing. The short video is then shared with you to take away the memorable moment of the evening with you. Great experience for award evenings. Also, Paul and Matthew from Imprint Events are fantastic guys!

Short review - if you’re thinking of booking Knockerdown for your wedding- do it! You will not regret it. From start to finish the service and support from Fiona and the rest of the team is outstanding. The venue is beautiful, and we had the best weekend ever. Long review- where do we begin? We visited the venue and fell in love straight away, the opportunity to have all our friends and family stay on site in beautiful self catering accommodation was one we could not miss. The cottages are so nice, homely & have all that you need. The Brackendale room where you can be married and/or have your wedding breakfast and evening reception is stunning. There’s so many facilities on site to use, including a games room and swimming pool. The views are stunning and there’s the opportunity to get married outside. I got ready in the Bonsall cottage and if you don’t have a large bridal party, this is an excellent space to get ready and then turns into the most beautiful honeymoon suite. The venue is a 10 out of 10, not one fault. In terms of Fiona and the team, they are outstanding. Everyone we came into contact with made us feel so important and relaxed, so friendly and professional. Fiona was amazing, from the moment we booked she has supported us with every choice, we put our complete trust in her as she’s so good at what she does. At no point did I ever feel stressed as I know she had it all in hand. We made full use of the venue for the whole weekend and had soooo many suppliers, so we made Fiona work- and it was seamless. We had a pie van and band on the Friday. Saturday was our wedding day and we had fish and chips, ice cream, pizza, DJ, Photo Booth, audio guestbook, live singer. Sunday we had a Greek van and a magician. So as you can see, we took full advantage of using this beautiful venue. We are so grateful for everything that Fiona did for us in ensuring all the suppliers ran smoothly. We couldn’t get married outside, which is what I desperately wanted but the way Fiona was so chilled and so reassuring just made me so at ease and just go with the flow, and now I’m so glad I got married in the Brackendale room as it’s stunning! Many of our guests have said that it’s the best wedding that they have been to and because it’s a DIY venue, they said it was so unique and different to any other wedding they’ve experienced. Having a wedding weekend instead of a wedding day is the way forward, we enjoyed every single minute. Book it - you will not regret! We’ve just come back from our weekend wedding at Knockerdown Cottages and there aren’t enough words to say how perfect it was. Our wedding coordinator Justeen went above and beyond a million times over, during the two years leading up to the wedding and over the whole weekend itself. We can’t thank her and the team enough for helping us create such a fun and special weekend. Having most of our guests be able to stay on site was really important to us, as well as the option to choose all our own suppliers and decorate as we wanted to. Knockerdown provided all this in a beautiful location which made it an easy choice. All of our guests keep telling us how incredible the venue was, and how friendly and endlessly helpful the staff were. We're so impressed and so pleased we chose Knockerdown for our wedding. We can’t wait to come back for a visit!

Fiona, you are an absolute gem. I had no worries on my wedding day at all. Not one bit. Everything, right down to the signs on the doors to the complimentary prosecco in our rooms was just amazing. I found Liz and Flawless Venue Dressing online and reached out to her decorate for my uncle's 60th birthday. Having reached out to other vendors, who dilly-dallied, Liz was fantastic! She responded quickly and asked for my suggestions and within the day we had a general idea for the décor. Liz also accommodated all of our last minute changes (including an increased number of chairs and a decorative easel). Moreover, due to a mishap in transit, one of the decoration items was damaged, so she added a new element ad hoc and it was amazing. When Liz came to do the final checks, we had to remove the balloons (as my uncle is allergic to latex) and she once again obliged and also adjusted the decorations to account for the balloons! It was a fantastic experience working with her and her prices are very reasonable! 100% recommend and will call on her services again should we ever host another event as large as this!
