What a little gem!!
My Sister had raved about this little tearoom, so when she invited me for lunch today, I couldn't wait to go.
The owner and staff were incredible; very chatty but not overbearing, knowledgeable about the teas and food they serve and very efficient & polite. I had the breakfast tea and the toasted beef, onion and chutney sandwich, followed by a slice of the most delicious cake.
Everything was made to order and honestly, I have never had beef as tender in a sandwich before, it literally melted in my mouth. The homemade chutney was stunning and even the side salad had a beautiful dressing on it.
I will most definitely be back again soon, the entire visit was so nice and I'm extremely happy to be supporting another well deserving local business
Would highly recommend this cafe to anyone. Everything can be done gluten free and more gluten free cakes than you can imagine! Lovely outdoor seating area, very dog and child friendly. If you haven't been already, go soon!
Absolutely stunning home made food. I had the curry today and it was AMAZING! Everything is delicious, the gluten free options are second to none, and to top it off it is in a beautiful setting, with a peaceful outdoor area full of gorgeous flowers. The service is wonderful and the owners are so warm and welcoming, and their home made cakes and mains are gorgeous!
Maggies is just brilliant! As a vegetarian coeliac I feel so safe and well catered for! All the cakes are gluten free as standard and delicious, most (if not all) of the mains can be made gluten free and the gf bread is honestly better than the normal bread I remember! Just been for afternoon tea and incredible! Thanks Maggie et al 😘
We had a wonderful festive afternoon tea at Maggie’s. The food was delicious, the Maggie’s team were brilliant, we were well looked after. We will definitely be back for another afternoon tea. Thanks Maggie's.
