Eros Restaurant is undoubtedly one of the top dining spots in Solihull. I've visited several times, and each dish has been exceptional in flavour. I highly recommend it—definitely worth a visit to experience the outstanding food for yourself!

What a great little restaurant! The food was excellent and the staff were all very pleasant. The food was too good to resist so excuse the half eaten dishes. Thoroughly recommended.

Fabulous dinner we had in a stopover in Solihull! We had; Soup (tomato) Salmon Kleftiko (lamb) Everything was cooked to perfection, super flavourful and piping hot. The service was friendly. I marked atmosphere down only because it’s quite small, so when it’s busy it can be a little loud… But I wouldn’t fault them. Fabulous food, wish i lived near as I would visit again and again.

I love the atmosphere in this restaurant. Warm and comfortable. Food is great. The main dish is amazing. Staffs are friendly. The price is reasonable. Will visit again. : ) The only thing needs to beware is the wooden ceiling beams. The wooden beam near the toilet is a bit low. Just be careful when walking then everything is fine.

The food at Turtle Bay Solihull was incredible! I had the jerk beef rib with spicy chips, and every bite was packed with flavor. This location has a unique vibe compared to other Turtle Bays I’ve been to. Our server, Sanjeev, was amazing—so patient and attentive, even though I was a bit indecisive at first. Great experience overall!

We had an incredible time at Turtle Bay, thanks to the outstanding service provided by Alex and Will. From the moment we walked in, they made us feel welcome and attended to our every need with a smile. The food was delicious, and their recommendations were spot on. The food was good and the waitresses were attentive. But kid does not like the spicy food. Besides, kid found the texture of the vanilla ice cream strange. I didn't taste it myself. I guess it's because the ice cream was vegan.

Tea, Rio and sangeev was absolutely brilliant. Great cocktails. Lots of smiles and couldn't be more accommodating if they tried. Great experience for our bottomless brunch

Beautiful place came here for a wedding a booked a corporate retreat here. Stunning rooms and gorgeous grounds. Staff very helpful, would book more events here.

This is the second time I've stayed in this hotel and it is just as good the second time around. A large group of us have met here twice for a company meeting. The hotel is beautiful, the staff are amazing, so attentive, you couldn't ask for better hosts. The rooms are immaculate, stylish and the beds are the comfiest I've ever stayed in. Can't wait for our next visit as i suspect this will become our usual spot as everyone has sang its praises! Special mentioned to Jake and Gabriel for these evening, the service has been outstanding!

A huge thank you to everyone at Hogarths who were involved in the planning and delivery of our Golden Wedding anniversary event in early December. We set out with help from our Event Planner (Laura) to create something very special for around 60 guests. Laura had lots of ideas and suggestions and channelled our thoughts to create an excellent plan for a lunch time event, extended into the evening. We were able to block book bedrooms so that we and many of our guests could stay overnight. On the day, our Event Director (Jorge) welcomed us and allowed us early access to set up our balloons and photos. The room setup needed a few things tuning but nothing was too much trouble. A huge thank you to the staff for getting the Music Room to look perfect and ready for the arrival of our guests. After a drinks reception with canapes, lunch was served, followed by cutting the cake and later evening food. Laura's suggestion of including a dance floor came into its own when the adverse weather conditions prohibited the younger children from working off their excess energy outside! Jorge oversaw delivery of a high quality event and any issues were dealt with quickly, especially given the challenges in the rest of the hotel (wind damage to the roof, a tree down on the entrance road and having to cope with a large party when the marquee was not able to be used). Our guests were effusive in their praise for the room and its decor, for the quality of the food and for the friendliness of the staff, who delivered high quality service. Many of our guests stayed overnight and were delighted with their luxurious overnight accomodation and a sumptuous full English breakfast the following morning. Thank you again to the staff who we met and to all those behind the scenes who we didn't. You all made our day very special!

We recently had our second Christmas party at Hogarths Hotel and it was absolutely fab! The staff went above and beyond to make it a special event, and Jake deserves a special mention for his outstanding service, warm hospitality and consistent attention! The bedrooms were beautiful—stylish, clean, and so inviting. The bed was super comfy, the best night’s sleep after all the celebrations! Thank you for such a memorable experience. Same again next year!

I had a fantastic stay here whilst on business . Everything they do is great. From the warm welcome after a long day to the fast and efficient service at dinner. I will definitely be coming back.In fact I have already booked another 2 night business trip early February.

Popped in for lunch. Never been before. Didn't book a table so didn't know what to expect. Beautiful place, clean and friendly. No problem for a table even though there were lots of other guests already in the restaurant. Service was excellent and food was fresh and delicious. Will definitely go back!

The start of my experience with Soho didn't get off to the best of starts with their booking system not working and trying to organise booking over the phone didn't really work out...HOWEVER, their service and help when we arrived was fantastic! To say the restaurant was busy on a Saturday night is an understatement, it was packed and I can totally see why! This has gone to the top of my list for the best Indian food I've tasted. We were sat in a fantastic spot in the corner of this beautiful set out room, nice level of music playing and the smells of food floating around the restaurant were enough to get even the fullest of people hungry! I chose here for my girlfriends 30th as she's a vegetarian and they have a whole menu dedicated to vegan/vegetarian food and it did not disappoint. I had a lamb jalfrazi with pilau rice, and she had a Vegetarian Chicken buttered chicken with boiled rice, both had garlic and cheese naan. The taste was phenomenal, spice wasn't too hot but I chose medium, the amount of lamb was fantastic! We've all been to an Indian where they give you 3 pieces of meat and a ton of sauce, Soho gives you just as much meat as sauce and it was delicious! The mint sauce and chilli sauce that comes with the poppadoms they need to sell as bottles at the front desk I'd say too because they were delicious throughout the meal! I was slightly disappointed there isn't samosas on the menu because I'm a huge fan of homemade samosas but it did not discount from the whole trip. I will 100% be back here again and recommend it to everyone. It was 30 mins away from our house and around the corner from the NEC. If you're nearby, it's a must book! Price wise - it was £160 for 6 people, 12 poppadoms, 6 garlic and cheese naans, meals with rice and drinks! Which is incredible!

Loved it! Hoped for a walk in table on a Friday evening, not even time to order drinks at the bar before we were being shown to our seats which was a pleasant surprise! Lunas service was 5*! First visit having heard good things. Food was incredible, we over ordered as a result of the fair pricing, great menu and generous portions but it tasted so good we found it hard to not try and finish it all! There were a few mistakes (wrong drink poured, rice didn't arrive with the rest of the dishes) but these things happen and they were fixed instantly and with a great attitude by Luna! Will 100% return!

Amazing food, especially for vegetarians. The veggie mix grill was so amazing. Four different dishes brought out on a sizzling plate and enough leftover for wraps the next day. My partner had a lamb korma and really enjoyed it. Price wise it seemed fair value but the charming setting is a little ruined by big tv screens on the wall. Super friendly staff, especially Lavisha who served us.

I have enjoyed my fantastic food here at Soho Tavern once more this week. Lavisha and her fellow colleagues have treated me so well, she deserves my greatest praise and my thanks for her wonderful service and attention. I will definitely come again. Mark

Today, my better half and I indulged in a splendid three-course set lunch that could make even the most jaded foodie swoon. We kicked things off with some cheeky starters: **Salt & Pepper Calamari** and **Baked Cheddar Mushrooms**. Both were delightful—crunchy and bursting with flavour, they set the stage for what was to come! For mains, we opted for two **7oz Angus Rump Steaks**, served with a side of **Beef Dripping Sauce** and a rather posh **Bone Marrow Béarnaise**. Now, I must admit, both steaks were a tad overcooked, which added a slight bitterness to the experience—like finding out your favourite sitcom has been cancelled. However, the *Bone Marrow Béarnaise* was an absolute revelation, a sauce that could turn even the grumpiest of diners into a happy camper! To wrap things up, we treated ourselves to a **Classic Crème Brûlée** and some **Ice Cream**. The crème brûlée was a velvety dream, gliding across the palate like a well-rehearsed ballet. And let’s not forget the service—absolutely top-notch! In summary, while the steaks may have missed the mark slightly, the overall experience was delightful. I’d say it was a lunch worth repeating—just maybe with a touch more pink in the middle next time!

Visited for the first time this evening with my partner, 22/2/25 and was served by Sophie T! Absolutely amazing service! She went above and beyond to give us the best experience! Very attentive! She is a credit to your team! Food was amazing too! So thank you to your chef who was working too! We will visit again.

Me and my partner came for a lovely meal. We were served by the lovely Harri. Food was 10/10, efficient and didn’t have to wait that long even though it was busy and we ordered the sharing board. Harri’s service and his attentiveness was second to none. He really deserves all the praise. We will definitely be recommending to family and friends, and we will be visiting again:)

Excellent... from start to finish! The service was professional & staff really friendly & helpful. There's a cinema room for the kids & free popcorn with top ups & a climbing frame outside too. Now the food.... outstanding! We ordered burgers, platters & mac n cheese with chicken & bacon which my little lad loved, the burgers are huge & was told they were really tasty & as for the platters everything was great the ribs, brisket, even the beans which had shredded pork in. It was our sons 18th so a lovely/embarrassing indoor sparkler & complimentary cake was provided. Highly recommended & make sure you book in advance

Family catch up. Atmosphere was friendly and although steady flow of diners, it did not seem overly busy or. Noisy. Service was good and with a child didn’t wait too long there was also a cinema for them to sit in if they got bored. Great menu choices. Well worth a visit. 2 courses and two drinks each for £30-£40 per head.

I was really surprised by how good the food was. I'm quite a fussy eater when it comes to quality, and I must say everything arrived fresh and hot—no complaints there. The highlight for me was the slow-cooked beef rib; it was the softest beef rib I've ever had, and the dipping sauce that accompanied it was a match made in heaven. The only reason I'm giving four stars is that the brisket was mostly dry. As we know, brisket should be succulent and juicy all around when done well. Apart from that, my children and I loved the meal, and we will definitely be back. Service was great too.

Having never been to a Hickory's before, I didn't really know what was available! We phoned in advance to ask for a table near the screens for the football. When we arrived we were warmly welcomed by a member of management, who we believe to be called Sam. Despite being very busy, he gave us a quick tour of the restaurant and explained all about the facilities. We couldn't believe there was a cinema for children - very family friendly. We were seated near to the screens with a great view. The atmosphere was great and the bar area was flowing. When seated we were met with our waitress for the evening, who was lovely! We enjoyed the free popcorn at the table! I really enjoyed the Orange Soda too. We ordered the veggie burger and the combo for one, plus Mac and cheese and tots! Everything was delicious and we definitely were FULL. Portions were very generous. Service was superb, never left waiting and it seemed to be relatively quick considering it was a full restaurant, on a Sunday afternoon, in half term! Looking forward to coming back with our children next time, as we know they'll love it too! Thank you ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Thoroughly delightful pub with busy yet pleasant atmosphere, even though busy with a private function, staff were friendly, polite and very attentive. We had the confit duck and pork cutlet, both were superb, delicious and ample portion size (with new potatoes arriving after the photo was taken) Highly recommended and will definitely be visiting again soon.

Dropped after 8pm one Thursday evening hoping for food. Was not disappointed - they were still serving (phew) and seafood platter was great. Decent selection of real ales and wines too. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for, and I was not disappointed. Staff also attentive, polite and kept themselves busy serving and tidying. Thanks.

Lovely place with some very high-quality food. The service is outstanding and the atmosphere was great, apart from being a little too warm throughout the evening. I do feel like it is expensive, but it's a nice place to go for the odd special occasion. Probably the best lamb I've ever had. I did feel abit awkward when the bill arrived and the optional service charge was written on... I felt abit pressured into paying it...considering the price of the final bill, the service charge was more than a meal and starter put together

Had a great evening here. The pub / inn is has a lot of character and really authentic. The food was excellent and very tasty. The choices are smaller but all very tasty and makes each dish worthwhile. Very busy country pub but worth the visit.

Wow. This is the best restaurant in Solihull by far. The food is so next level. The restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere and we were treated to a fab singer tonight who has a fab voice. Harvey was our server who was fantastic and a real credit to the restaurant. the food is generous and delicious and fantastic value for money. The wine is reasonably priced (We had the Portuguese red which was delicious and only £23 a bottle). I would highly recommend the restaurant to friends. The owner stopped at our table to chat to us which was really appreciated. He was very friendly and welcoming. If you would like a fantastic meal with authentic home cooked flavours in a lovely atmosphere then Porto Douro is for you!

Had a lovely time here. Very busy on a Saturday night. Even though service was a bit slow, the staff were friendly. Lovely Portuguese wine. I would give the cocktails a miss though. Food is delicious and served very hot. Absolutely delicious. Definitely on the pricier side at about £60 pp, but worth it for special occasions. I think the seafood/fish options are better than the meat options after trying both. My only request is that they need live music on the weekend, especially during peak hours. If not that, they need speakers on the other side of the restaurant as the music could only be heard at the bar side. A little bit quiet on the side I was sitting. Great to support local businesses!!

We were a family of four who dined here on New Year's Day in the evening. The place was quiet and food came out at a good pace to allow us to enjoy the evening. Service was really good and attentive. The restaurant has moved from nearby Acocks Green a while ago and serves authentic Portuguese food. All the dishes are explained really well in the menu and each dish is numbered for people with allergies. Portion sizes were really good, and food came out really hot. We all loved the dishes we ordered. At the end of the meal, each table was given a complementary shot of liquor (we had Almond) and a traditional Portuguese Custard Tart. If you are travelling by car, parking is tricky, but you do have publicly available paid car parking nearby, Mell Square Car Park is c5min walk. We had a lovely time with great food and will look to return soon

The Red Lion is a cosy local pub with a lovely welcoming atmosphere 🤍 The staff here are so attentive, Sean & Charlotte are always working hard and serving with a smile! They’re a pleasure to see everytime. The menu offers a variety of different dishes, changing seasonally, from their perfectly cooked minute steak at lunch to their hearty pie of the day in the evening served with a generous side of chips and seasonal vegetables. Recently I tried their steak and ale pie of the day (unfortunately didn’t take a photo of this one) - certainly one of the best I’ve had, as good as Lowsonford’s Fleur De Lys. After a stroll around Earlswood Lakes, their hot chocolate hits the spot perfectly - it's become my go-to comfort stop after a winter walk ☺️ If you're looking for some midweek entertainment, their Wednesday evening quiz is a must. It's the perfect excuse to gather friends for a fun night out - good food, drinks, and friendly competition. The Red Lion delivers every time. It's exactly what a local pub should be! 😊🥂🍻☕️

We had sea bass filets and the signature burger, both were amazing. Perfectly flavoured and good portion size. Squash and cauliflower soup of the day was just the thing we needed on a cold Sunday afternoon. Would definitely come back.

A really lovely, cosy dog friendly pub right next to the lakes. A perfect place for a stop off after a walk with easy parking just across the road and an amazing roast dinner on Sunday. The garden is also a perfect sun trap

Beautiful festive decorations creating a perfect atmosphere. Friendly, helpful staff, especially Klaudia. Food was absolutely delicious, piping hot and good portion sizes. The puddings were especially delicious. Definitely returning again soon.
