A nice country feeling pub with excellent food at a good price. Service could have been better in terms of enthusiasm from the team and the provision of cutlery during our meals. Toilets a little dated. Otherwise a good experience overall.

I recently visited The Red Lion in Knowle, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. Dion and the entire team were outstanding—warm, welcoming, and attentive, making sure everything was just right. We opted for the three-course set menu, and it was exceptional value for money. The food was beautifully presented, full of flavor, and each course felt thoughtfully prepared. The starters were fresh and flavorful, the main courses were perfectly cooked with generous portions, and the desserts were the ideal way to finish off a great meal. It’s clear the kitchen team takes pride in every dish they send out. Overall, The Red Lion provided a superb dining experience. With a great atmosphere, amazing food, and excellent service, it’s easy to give them a well-deserved 5 stars. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic meal in Knowle!

Our large family gathering was very warmly welcomed post Christmas and we all enjoyed an excellent lunchtime and afternoon get-together. Compliments to the chef for serving 19 meals so quickly and to our server who managed to remember all our names! We look forward to seeing you again.

Today I met up with friends. This is a restaurant, I have never visited before. I was very pleasantly surprised. Lovely fires to negate the chill. Really great service from Emma our host/server. Tweaks to the menu where accommodated with grace. The food was great quality and served with timeliness. Thank you
