My daughter had struggled with mainstream schooling and the this place was recommended by a friend and all I can say is that we were not disappointed at all. The atmosphere is brilliant and management are the best and very very helpful. if you wish for your child to excel then please contact this place.

I'm really happy with Tutor First. I've had my eldest son attend before his GCSE and now my young son is attending. He really enjoys going and thinks Jack is great. He says your learning but it likes being with your mate with Jack. Would recommend to anyone looking for a tutor.

If you’re seeking a tutor to support your child with the grammar school entrance exam, I’d 100 percent recommend Jack at Tutor First. Jack provided a complimentary session to assess if our son had the academic ability for the school and exam, midway through year three. We decided to commence sending our son to Jack for one hour a week from the start of year four. Initially, Jack supported our son with foundation work, with a particular focus on handwriting. Most importantly he built a great rapport with our son. Jack’s approach was very tailored and he was also very good at advising how we could support our son at home too. Over the past two years, there’s never been lots of homework or pressure, just constant support and encouragement. Even in the weeks nearing the exam, it was very relaxed. What impressed me the most, besides Jack’s ability to understand his students, was his commitment to mental health support and creating an inclusive, supportive and fun community. With Jack’s support our son met the standard required for the grammar school.

Amazing tutoring service! Unlike many I’ve tried before, their ethos and actions align. There’s always someone available to talk to and reply to you when you have any issues. Teachers are very knowledgeable in their subjects and have many years of experience, not only in their subjects but how GCSEs are marked and what’s needed for the child to understand the exams set up. My daughters have taken maths, science and English with Lextra, they are happy with how they are being taught. They have parent meetings and are involved throughout your journey with them, ultimately they care for your child education and well being. My son joined the Lextra family mid October 2022 with his last school result in Grade 6. There was so much hardwork, dedication, commitment from the tutors of Lextra and my son. Since joining improve tuition, we have seen a significant improvement in our child’s progress in core subjects. Improve Tuition is the go-to tuition place in Batley! Improve Tuition has been the BEST tuition centre that my son has ever attended, and I can’t thank Mr Dabhad and the tutors that work there enough! Mr Dabhad and the tutors motivated my son and helped him to achieve a fantastic grade in the subject that he was weak in. I noticed a significant difference in my son’s grade for that subject and it was clearly evident that my son had made progress during his time at Improve Tuition.
