Mia taught my 5-year-old daughter for two months online and during that time my child’s progress was remarkable, especially her writing, maths and art skills. Mia was able to actively engage my child and keep her focused and motivated throughout the remote lessons. Mia is a highly experienced and trustworthy educator who I have already recommended to friends, and whose services I would definitely make use of again.

My son thoroughly enjoys his sessions with Mia both in person and online. After just a few sessions we have noticed the improvement he has made, particularly in his English writing. Mia’s teaching has also helped to build up his confidence. Mia always keeps us informed with the learning. Mia taught my child Sophie when she needed extra help after school. Sophie really enjoyed and looked forward to the sessions and developed a great relationship with Mia. The sessions were great fun and planned around Sophie’s favourite characters which really helped engage her. It was fantastic to see how quickly Sophie gained confidence in herself and her work . Mia kept me well informed about Sophie’s progress and gave me ways I could help her more at home too. I would highly recommend Mia to help any child. Kenza is a patient and knowledgeable teacher. She shows great professionalism and at the same time is very personable. Kenza is good at identifying the strengths and weaknesses of her pupils and tailoring her teaching to help them improve. During the last four years when I have been studying French with her help, my confidence has improved enormously and I know it would have been a slower process without her help. I have known Fiona for a number of years as my both my children have been tutored by her . My child is very happy at woking explore. The staff are very helpful and friendly and accommodate everyone. My child has made lots of progress. If your child is not confident enough to put their hand up in class explore learning helps massively. Explore Learning helps build confidence.

I can’t recommend Explore Learning more highly. My experience so far is of a place that builds confidence, offers tailored support in small groups, is flexible, understanding and nurturing. With regular progress meetings, and parent portals you can keep track of any areas which need more help, as well as access additional learning for home. I want to leave a review about the centre manager Siôn as he is very helpful and kind. He has helped me with my daughter's 11+ application and I couldn't be more thankful. Haleema, the 11+ the tutor is fantastic and has prepared my daughter very well. The assistant manager, Kim, is also very helpful. You should bring your children to this centre.

We are new to the UK. My daughter never learned English. After she joined Kumon she start to say words and now it's been 6month, now she is talking to people with confidence(still need to improve). Even her teacher at her school said she improved so fast. Thanks to Kumon in Guildford, we had very nice experiences with it and all staff are very nice and teacher are so patient. Once again let my daughter go to kumon is very good choice I made.

All three of my children have taken maths, at Kumon in Guildford. We started for various reasons and have ended at different times. My last child has now been doing it for three years now and is two years ahead of where she should be. This was evident in home schooling in lockdown when we were completing year eight maths and she is in year six. Kumon has continued through lockdown with zoom lessons. I could book an individual lesson if stuck and could contact through Whats app and text. Work was easy to exchange with little notes of encouragement. My daughter is determined to finish the program. Ultimately she says she wants to take maths and further maths at A level. Even if this isn't your aim, Kumon will give you a great understanding of maths. Times tables will be known instantly which will help in all aspects of life. The Guildford group is welcoming and when we are allowed to meet again, easy to find. Nicky Gale.
